"We had a great time at the Cardrona hotel. We went for a break out of the ski season, when things were quiet. The included was basic, and the cooked breakfast wasn't always available. The food at other times was of gargantuan proportions and excellent quality. Everybody was nice and the hotel only got busy at lunch time. We had a great time walking and running round local tracks. The location is great for Queenstown & Wanaka (if you have a car)and we visited both although Q'town takes longer. 20 mins on an easy road to Wanaka gave us a great variation for evening dining."

"Villa is between Queenstown and Wanaka, excellent choice if you want a spacious hotel and from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown which is a 35mins drive away thru the breathtaking mountain roads. Spacious and clean with a fully equipped kitchen, washing facilities, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living and dining area. The cosy fireplace is a bonus. Communication and check in was a breeze. Wifi comes with a price but that's understandable given the quiet location. The historic Cardrona Hotel is mere walking distance away and the food there was excellent."
