"The location is 5-star, so closed to City Hall MRT station. Taxi to airport within 30 mins. Room dining and restaurants are good ! I was attending an event and have sent 2 boxes of materials to the hotel in advance. They were kind enough to keep them for me and deliver to my room when I check in ! I will definitely stay with Carlton for my next Singapore trip."

"The suite is spacious and bigger than other hotels of the same price, but the lobby is rather small. The view of the pool and gym room are excellent, can see the garden by the bay, it is worth the price. Laundry service was provided but we used the washing machine in our suite instead. Breakfast stops on Sun and public holidays."

"This is one of my goto places in Singapore. Positives: smaller hotel. No queues at reception, quick service at breakfast, low floors means very little waiting or riding time in elevators Minor issues: bathroom has limited privacy if you are staying as a couple (I am a solo business traveller at this hotel), and breakfast is good for the value but much less than the mega buffets at more expensive hotels."

"I enjoyed a short business stay in this hotel. Great location, very helpful staff, good swimming pool. A few more drink options at breakfast (fresher juice, better coffee) and a better equipped gym would really make this hotel stand out. I will happily return. "

"The room was spacious for us, good for 2 people. Soft bed, great hot shower (with big shampoo, conditioner, & body wash) overall clean and comfy room. Great location! Walking distance to City Hall MRT. In front of Fort Canning Park. Walking distance to Song Fa Bak Kut Teh. The hotel starts at the 4th floor of the Funan Mall that has a good selection for shopping. They also have 2 floors (basement) of food selection. The mall also has a cinema and a gym. Lots of camera shops around the hotel and has a 7/11 across the street. I loved the fully equipped kitchen that we can use for free. Has an ice box and even ovens. They also have a photobooth and a ball pit. Notes: *Cashless property (mastercard, visa, paypal, dragonpay). *You can install the Lyf by Ascott app that you can use as your key card for door access. But they also offer a physical card. * they have Free Wifi ** Everything Is Mostly SelfService** *coin laundry for SG8, you can also iron your clothes in the laundry area *cleaning service is only done 3rd day of your stay (but they only get the trash) * to change your towels, you have to exchange it from the 6th floor * no complimentary water bottles, you can get water from the drinking water tap in the kitchen * 7/11 is the only food option after 10pm when the mall closes. The Mcdonalds at the mall is not 24/7 * Yu Kun Kaya Toast (iced coffee is a must try) at the basement opens at 7:30 am, all the other food options open from 10am - 11am."

"Superb location in the city centre. Located beside the shopping mall which has everything you need. Plenty of food options and a super market to boost. The only blimp of the stay is that it does not provide complimentary parking as the carpark belongs to the shopping mall. Information on the cheaper valet parking alternative was not told to us prior to arrival. It costs me an additional 50SGD per day for the parking."

"Booked the newly renovated king harbour view room. Everything was clean and good at first, view is amazing. But, the bedding was bad/ rough and the duvet is totally not breathable . Would have expected a much better quality bedding given the price of hotel. The bed area is not very cold despite the lowest temperature. My husband had trouble sleeping on the bed due to bad air circulation so had to sleep at the couch. Water tasted funny so had to ask for mineral water which is fine. Given the price, could have stayed at a better hotel. "

"This building I been visited before it became a hotel , it’s was a nice historic building and now it’s became more beautiful after some renovation to a hotel . Hotel just located opposite the city hall MRT station and also a bus station outside the building , full of shopping centers around the hotel , 24 hour McDonald and Starbucks just at the raffles city mall and some pretty shop around the hotels building . Bedroom space not too big , but it’s enough , it’s was perfect if prepare a small sofa chair or change the wooden table chair to a comfort chair . I like the bathroom that provided a beautiful bathtub and also the outstanding shower room design that provided a marble seat , it’s very considered to old guest and young children . And the hotel offer all free on non alcoholic drinks at minibar , nice ! Although it’s not a high building that can’t provide a nice skyline view and just a small window but it’s nice also that some of the rooms facing the Chjmas and marina bay sand . Hotel breakfast not much variety but taste good , dining environment very good . Gym room and pool was small , the pool was nice but no any hotel’s assistant ready at the common area . Overall it’s a very great stay at Kempinski and worth to stay in ."
