The hotel is excellent in general , room are comfy , nice views back and forth , good breakfast , the staff were phenomenal , specially Bradely , Andrew , sharleen and Jamal (The concierge ) , they were very helpful and Bradely can organize to u the best activities and tours in a very convenient and flexible way , he was the man for the Job . If i come back i would contact this guy and let organize my trip again . On the otherhand my wife didn't like the Spa unfortunately ,they need to improve the service The prices were a bit high compared to the facilities and the room size . Its not the best in the world but its a great hotel in Cape Town

The staff was absolutely wonderful!! They made our stay in Cape Town the most memorable vacation we have ever had, ( we travel) alot. Hlonela and the new girl with the short blond hair went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the BEST, we are forever greatful. From the location, room size and staff we give Icon 5 stars!! We will definitely recommend Icon Luxury Apartments.

Stayed here 6 nights and could not have been happier. Room was modern and well appointed with a great kitchen area. Fresh bread and croissants delivered every morning and the fridge was stocked daily with food, soda, and snacks. It was so great making a little breakfast every morning in the morning! Staff and front desk was amazing! Wifi was fast without any issues. Facilities were clean and kept up, great rooftop bar and pool area to watch sunsets over the ocean. Hotel is easy walking distance to the beach, lots of restaurants, bars, and a convenience store. Getting to Cape Town and the waterfront was a quick and easy 15-20min drive. Couldn't not recommend this place more, would definitely stay here again when we are back in Cape Town!

It was just 5 days trip with our friends, and we were afraid of the safety of the area but Lawhill was situated in a very safe area, with security gates and you can only come in and come out with your key. The location at the waterfront, you can take a walk around or run in the morning, it is completely safe area. The apartments were very luxurious, everything was equipped in the apartment, staff is very friendly, I was worried there would be no hot water but there was always hot water, you just need to ask them to keep it running 24 hours in your apartment. The supermarket is just 5 minutes away, you can walk it and get all you need for you apartment, and then you can just cab it on your way back if you have a lot of bags, it is just 40R ! We stayed in the 5th floor in Lawhill and the view was amazing, it was unbelievably beautiful! If you are coming to cape town, couples or groups, you should stay at Lawhill, which is exactly at the waterfront, very well priced and very safe and convenient.

It luckily happened that we spontaniously made the best hotel choice in Cape Town, as nobody among my friends was to the city before. Everything was beyond expectations - location, staff, rooms, garden, wow breakfast and the ocean views and unforgattable sunsets with whales in the horizon! Thank you all the hotel staff for the exquisite stay! I will definitely be back!

My third time to Cape Royale and whilst a very enjoyable trip was not as good as previous trips. When I arrived I was to,d the restaurant was closed for refurbishment -being a solo traveller this was disappointing as no one had pre-advised and going out alone at night in Cape town is ill advised. Also I was staying on the 7th floor and the rooftop bar (situated on the 8th floor was very rowdy on occasion, although the noise was not later than 11pm. The spa had also closed whilst I was there so think its best to check if all the facilities are open before you go. That said the staff, rooms and service were as normal, excellent, so have rebooked for 2016

Very impressed with this hotel and can happily recommend to fellow travellers in search of a very nice hotel within decent distance of the V&A Waterfront. The rooms are very spacious, nicely set up and well-stocked with beverages and goodie. This would be an ideal place for multiple night stays, even though we only stayed for one night. There is also a really excellent complimentary breakfast —both hot and cold buffets and very well-prepared food — and friendly gracious staff. On previous nights in Cape Town we stayed at a five star rated hotel, and can say with all honesty that I preferred the Hyde. Whilst the other had a kitchenette, there were no snacks or beverages to purchase, and no cutlery, plates, etc. that one would expect with a kitchenette. The Hyde in contrast had all that and more. The only complaint (and the only negative at all) is that it would be nice if the suites had decent coffee makers, as the coffee arrangement left something to be desired.

Fantastic hotel in the perfect location of camps bay. Minutes away from bars , restaurants and the odd shop or 2 not much shopping here this is beach and eating at its best. Hotel staff from arrival in between to departure were generous in there help to make your stay fun and spectacular. Check in is quick, welcome glass of wine . Was lucky to get room upgraded to sea view and balcony which were amazing room 203 loved this room. It was our Anniversary trip we received champagne and flowers on the bed they just did all the amazing things with no fuss. Bar and pool area are super relaxed , nice music, great lounging options and it’s just bliss lying listening to the waves. Would say this hotel is as good as it gets you should snap it up now. We stayed here for 4 nights in December 2018. We were with my in-laws and all of us were very satisfied. My in laws arrived a few days earlier than we did, and they felt that the hotel staff were very helpful in getting them situated in CapeTown. I will say though, that the hotel did not respond to my emails about booking a car to pick us up from the airport, but once we phoned them it was sorted out very quickly. The location is very good, only 10 minutes to the heart of the Waterfront. They have a big parking lot, which was convenient as we had a rental for most of our stay. I didn't eat any of the food because there are so many great restaurants near by! Our room was a good size, modern, and clean. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Cape Town!

The hotel is located a few blocks from Bo-Kaap, near a hop on/off bus stop going to Table mountain and the other direction takes you to the waterfront. The staff and facilities were absolutely wonderful. The biggest surprise (we booked the suite) was the 3-level loft with full kitchen/ living room/ dining (level 1), the master bedroom (level 2) with larger closet area & master bathroom and then an absolutely beautiful balcony view. The loft (level 3) was a complete working office and sitting room with big leather chairs - awesome. Lastly the restaurant server most likely the best steaks in Cape Town - a must try for meat lovers...

I came for two nights in cape town for business. The Hotel is well located in the middle of the city with many restaurants and activites near by. The Room confort was really great. BUT there seems to be a management problem, I had booked via a mail to the hotel which I even received confirmation for a Airport pickup.... Nothing was arranged. I arrived at 13:30 in the afternoon and my room was only ready at 16:00... When they cleanned my room the next day, my towels were taken and never replaced. I had to ask the reception on my return from a long day. Otherwise since it was my first time in Cape Town I enjoyed it.

Location is very practical and felt safe. (You can tell is a nice neighborhood because of the nice cars parked in the street). Very cool restaurants walking distance (Kloof Street House was the coolest for dinner). We booked a back room since I saw some people complained about the noise and it was perfect. An absolute steal for the price. Room was bigger than the average business hotels downtown and all was brand new and very clean. Loved the coffee/tea in the reception. They also let us leave our bags after checkout and hang out in the couches at reception while we charged our phones. Book this if you are in Cape Town!

Really nice little apartment in a great part of cape town. Comfy bed, has everything you need and feels secure. I can't comment on the Paragon facilities as it turned out Madison is another building (you still check in at Paragon first) without all of these which Agoda might have made clearer before the stay. The only issue we encountered was there was only one lift and it broke one night leaving a fun 7 floor walk up.

Crash pad was perfect for a solo traveller with lots of plans in Cape Town! AMAZING value for money! A bed, full bathroom, and a but of space for a suitcase. Not super tiny (as they imply on their site) but just perfect for someone who literally just needs somewhere to sleep! Tons of common space throughout hotel as well. Whole place is super funky - amazing tile work and great murals throughout. All staff - from housekeeping to safe to reception and concierge - was amazingly accommodating and helpful! Free 1 hr bike rental with stay - take a ride along the beach!

From the moment of arrival, you are aware that this is a very special place. Above all, the management and staff. They go beyond any level of service we have experienced in any 5star hotel in the world. Charming, thoughtful and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The position, high above Camps Bay, provides breath taking views, as well as quiet seclusion. The rooms are spacious and beautifully fitted out in every way. The best beds you will ever sleep on. Immaculate Mercedes fleet to ferry you wherever you want to go at very reasonable cost. The evening drinks and canapés get together is a brilliant idea, and means you get to know fellow guests. Only minor niggle is no coffee making facilities in some rooms. Seems an oversight? When we return to Cape Town next year, this will be our first port of call. Our room was overlooking the harbour and we enjoyed watching the activities from our nice terrace. The room was bright and large, a nice treat. There were many restaurants within walking distance and we could park our car. The area attractions were easy to reach, Boulders penguin colony and the Cape of Good Hope, both a must. We would recommend this hotel to others, a nice change from staying in Cape Town and not difficult to reach the airport.

On my first-ever trip to South Africa, I wanted to visit Cape Town based on its beauty in pictures and botany (I have a degree in horticulture and most of the plant species in my home locale are identical to those in Cape Town's Kirstenbosch Gardens). I debated about what part of town to stay in and ultimately decided on Sea Point for the ocean view and to be out of the hubbub of the city center. Winchester Mansions looked like it had an old world style and charm, which attracted me, as I travel for work domestically and am always staying in contemporary hotels with no history. I couldn't have been more satisfied. The rooms and baths are European in design and roomy enough to be comfortable. Decor is stylish, beds comfortable, and every amenity is provided, including turn-down service. The breakfast buffet was beautifully stocked. Hotel and restaurant staff were friendly and so accomodating! Special thanks to Ian, Linda, Nadia and Goodwill for personalizing my stay.

Overall was a great stay with excellent service. The staff are simply helpful and knowledgeable. They make you feel like home and to certain extend the care about you like a family. If I'm in Cape Town again, definitely Parliament Hotel will be my very first choice to stay with.. The room is spacious and spotlessly clean. The bedsheet is very clean too and with daily cleanup services. The only feedback is the breakfast where the same everyday. As I was there for 7 nights. The similar food serving everyday is related to the management but not the staff. The staff are super helpful and willingly to help at anytime.

This Boutique hotel in cape town ticks all the boxes. Extremely friendly and hospitable staff ensured our stay was perfect. The rooms were clean, quiet and extremely spacious, the bathroom was enormous and filled with luxurious amenities. The bed was large & comfy which made for an easy nights sleep after a long flight from Sydney. Location was spot on, short drive from the airport, short walk to the V&A waterfront and only a short drive to table mountain. With a lovely breakfast & safe/secure parking it really is impossible to fault this hotel. My one regret is that we only booked 2 nights.
