"The hotel reception office was locked on arrival (3 pm). Phone call to manager went to voice mail. Had to ask the pub manager to contact the hotel manager who was in Kalgoorlie. We were given a room but the toilet flush did not work so we had to wait for the hotel manager to return before being given an alternative room. The air conditioner in the alternative room was old and noisy but the room was otherwise acceptable."
