"We booked 2 nights on recommendation from another traveller after 8 days trekking - it was nice to have a break from thinking, travelling etc. The pool and mojitos were great - the restaurants (both Cafe and Rox) were good but (not surprisingly) expensive compared to the rest of Nepal. Sometimes service was lacking so you need to be clear about what you prefer. We also stayed one night at Hotel de L'Annapurna for the same cost and Hyatt was 100 times better although the Indian restaurant at L'Annapurna was one of the best meals. We also stayed at Kathmandu Guest House for a fraction of the cost which has a lovely garden but no pool."

"Our previous visits to Nepal was less than satisfying so this time we hoped that we will get better hotel. Crowne Imperial exceeded all of my expectation with the very kind and nice service. Everyone is so helpful and kind and speaks English well too. The room is nice and clean. As things that can be improved is more facilities as well as the food in the restaurant. I can't speak for the local food but for the Western menus, it'd be great if it can be improved. Still enjoyed my stay and will definitely recommend it to others and I'd stay here again in the future."

"We stayed at the Kathmandu City Hotel. It was excellent and surpassed our expectations. The staff was friendly and met our every request. This was one of the best places we have stayed. This is hotel with not many rooms but yes all the rooms are very well done, beautifully decorated, and clean. They organized our tours which were great with transfers to and from airport. The food at their restaurant was well prepared. Leaving we felt that we made friends in Nepal. I would surely recommend this hotel to all travelers."

"The staff was super sweet and gave us a complimentary room upgrade and cake for my friend's birthday. The views from the resort were breathtaking, especially from the infinity pool looking out to the clouds and valley below. Unfortunately the weather was not ideal for swimming for us. The Executive Double Room we had was very comfortable with a super large TV screen and very comfy bed and pillows. The bathtub was a welcoming treat for a cold and rainy day. It would be nice if they provided some bath foam for bubble bath. The restaurant menu was a little limited, and could be better with an expansion of the offerings. The ala carte American breakfast we had was nice though a little pricey at 15k each. Parts of the resort was still under construction as it was newly opened, including the spa. Overall I'd recommend coming here for a night or 2 as a special treat. The cable car rides were included in the booking so you don't have to get them separately."

"An oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle Kathmandu, great atmosphere, great decor. 3 great restaurants in the adjustment garden/Art Gallery. And we are also very glad to rediscover the great art of hotel concierge that's lost in a lot of 5 star hotels, in Baber Mahal Vilas Kathmandu. A superb experience. Thank you so much. "
