Melbourne hotels & accommodations

Those staffs are very professional and helpful before we step into the hotel. They responded to our inquiry very fast and able to provide us with all the services. The hotel location is good, just next to the DFO, which you can easily find a good outlet and shopping. It's not very far away from the town, but you have to expect a little bit walking distance. It's a ver...

This was our second stay in this hotel. We were given early access to our room which was much appreciated. We had a standard queen room which was very adequate. The central location is excellent with public transport at the door. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and all aspects of our time there were good. This hotel ticks all the right boxes a...

Although the Pegasus Apartment hotel is very new, it is well organized and everything worked. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. There's no hotel restaurant but there are many restaurants and cafes a short walk away and one is spoiled for choice. Of course you can self cater but we preferred to go out. The room was very clean and a good size. We h...

This hotel/ hostel hybrid is a true vision of what every hostel/ hotel should be. I felt the right amount of separation and privacy from the typical hostel scene, but with all the social benefits from both the rooftop with hot tub, sun loungers and beautiful views of CBD and North Melbourne. Hotel Guest have access to Kitchen and also the very social bar downstairs. ...

Pros - Beautiful / clean apartment, good location as it is near to shops / trams / Melbourne Central Station / restaurants and supermarket, the Staff at Level 3 is helpful in allowing us to keep our luggage after check out, washing machine. Cons - Pots and pans need change due to wear and tear, there is no dryer for clothing after washing and no place to dry your clo...

I chose to stay at Brady Hotels because they're the best option between the price and the hotel star at that time. I never went to this hotel before, so I didn't know what to expect from my stay there. After staying there, I can say that it's definitely a pleasant experience. The room, although small, was very comfortable. My room was located on 9th floor and the view,...

The floor to ceiling glass windows and balcony from the lounge and main bedroom provide an amazing view of the harbour. The rooms are spacious and very modern. The second bedroom has its own study area and ensuite. The kitchen has a dishwasher and everything else you need for cooking and eating. There is a lounge area as well as dining table. The hotel is located ri...

We stayed here for Christmas, and we couldn’t ask for a better place to celebrate this occassion at. The room had everything I would ask for - kitchen, balcony and a very spacious living area. Will definetely recommend this place! Of all hotels in Melbourne (in Service Apartment range) that I have stayed in, this one is my favorite!

To begin with the Staff in Melbourne 1 Bldg. on Lonsdale was very accomodating and friendly especially the Front Desk Staff named Chris. Ibrahim of Melbourne One Front Desk was very accommodating as well. The place was clean, elevators were fast & we felt at home. There was just the noise from the construction area during our stay but all was good. The location is wi...

This hotel is one of the best hotel in Melbourne in my opinion. Its bed is amazing soft and comfortable. The location in southbank is very covenient to access to public transport and fine dinings. The breakfast is tasty. Highly recommended and will come again.

We always like to book hotels close to public transport to enable us to get about with great ease. Whilst not our favourite Melbourne Hotel, Best Western Atlantis ticks all the boxes for us in terms of being close to the Airport shuttle, free city loop tram (corner of spencer street and la trobe) that will loop around to the majority of the tourist attractions in Melbo...

Lovely apartment at a great location near Queen Victoria Market and Melbourne Central Station. The interior of the building and the apartment is superb. Anna and Winnie was very helpful and check in was a breeze! The necessities provided was clean and good, not those typical cheap brandless shampoo/body wash. Really enjoyed my stay there, will definitely stay there aga...

Excellent. I travel to Melbourne for work quite often and I've stayed at the Olsen twice before. It is definitely my favourite Hotel in Melbourne, perhaps Australia. It's right in the middle of Chapel St - an easy walk to shops and bars, the beds are incredibly comfy and the place feels really homely, yet chic and modern.

Our stay at the Crown Metropol Hotel in Melbourne was very enjoyable. We found that it catered for a range of age groups allowing choices of how to spend time within the hotel. We found the staff at the hotel to be very friendly and helpfull. We dined at three restaurants, all serving very delicious meals. We would recommend the hotel to our friends for a short stay w...

We spent a long weekend in Melbourne. Had no issues with our apartment. Check in was fast & efficient, and we were shown to our apartment. It was clean and nicely presented. We were out a lot and did not use the pool or other facilities. Winston apartments are in a great location and we made good use of the trams both out front and 1 block away depending on our des...

This is my third time staying in a serviced apartment in Melbourne and I would say that Milano Serviced Apartments is the best so far. Cheap places to stay in Melbourne

This was probably one of the BEST hostels that I have stayed at. The location was perfect to center of Melbourne, close to the tram, & across from the station. From Skybus location, I was driven to the hostel for free. The staff members were kind & extremely helpful. The place was clean too! I stayed in room 106. The doors slam shut....LOUD. I slept by the door, so I ...

This is the best budget hotel you can ever find in Melbourne.. While most hotels do not provide free wifi, this one does.. and its a strong one.. After a whole tiring day of tour in the city, y...

Whatever you are looking for! Good rooms, kitchen, friendly staff, location, transport. This hotel has it all. Our review: Location: 5 Stars 5 stars for location as it is near where we wanted to go: 10 minutes drive to Dandenong Market, Dandenong Malls and The Glen shopping mall (A large upscale mall at Glen Waverly). Graham - what a gem of a man :) I arrived quite late and he put my heater on and made sure my room was toasty on arrival. The room was very clean and tidy, and had everything you could hope for. Some nice chilled water in the fridge, microwave, tea & coffee and even biscuits! The bed was also quite comfortable. Yes it is an older property but I would have to say it is...

I had stayed in various budget hotels in Melbourne CBD and certainly Ibis Budget Melbourne CBD offers rooms that is probably no more than what is expected for the price range. However the staff are extremely polite and happy to help which is more than a cut above the rest and a pleasant surprise given past experiences in 5 Melbourne hotels in 6months. I know where I a...

Great hotel for those who value arts, tranquille and green environment, cleanliness, and also the location. I actually booked this stay for friends who were required to stay overnight in Melbourne. not being frequent travellers they were very impressed with the rooms and the location. they informed me that the standout was the staff and their service given, always friendly, always helpful and always smiling. the only issue, and it was barely that was a bit of confusion in fi...

Out of the 3 hotels I've stayed at in Melbourne so far, the Causeway 353 is my favourite. Hidden away on Little Collins Street, it's at the heart of everything Melbourne - laneways, Bourke Street Mall, the Block Arcade, forty bajillion cafes and bars. The free breakfast every morning was perfectly adequate to start the day with and ran for an appropriate amount of time...

Paramount Serviced Apartments , was certainly a surprise for our weekend in Melbourne , we arrived very early in the morning so check-in was not ready ,which we knew , we had arrange to have the bags stored until the check in time , the staff where ready with our message received earlier via email , bags locked up , and away into Melbourne until we come back at...

This is the second time I have stayed at Best Western Melbourne Airport Motel and Convention Centre. It is a hassle free place to sleep when transiting at Melbourne Airport. This was my second stay at the Citigate Hotel in Melbourne. Once again, I was very happy with the hotel overall. I arrived quite late in the evening and staff on the desk were friendly and prompt. The room was on the 11th floor an while not the best view (it looks straight into the office building next door) it was quiet, had great block out curtains and makes good use of natural light during the day. The bed was comfortable, and room also included a minibar , kettle, tea and co...

We love the location as it was right between Melbourne CBD and to the sights in Dandenong ranges or to Philip Island which fitted well in our travel itinerary. Only complaint is its the only place I ever stayed in aus where they d...

OaksOnCollins is one the best hotel I have stayed in a while. We were traveling with 2 older children on our holiday to Melbourne, Auckland and Sydney. In these 3 cities where we stayed at 3 different hotels, Crown Towers Hotel is the one we remember fondly. The children enjoyed the hotel so much that they were reluctant to leave. I actually had stayed in this hotel once (12 years ago), but the hotel does not feel old at all. ...

Perfectly located in the heart of Melbourne CBD, next to Pho 24 restaurant, just across to Spencer Outlet and Southern Cross Station. I love the experience during my stay. The apartment was spacious, clean, well kept, and equipped with amenities. Will definitely consider to book it again when i visit Melbourne.

I live in greater Melbourne but stay here when I have a company function or early trip to the airport, as I live a ways out of the city. I've always been welcomed back and even given a complimentary drink card. I always seem to be rushing when I stay here but can honestly say it's one of the best places to stay in Melbourne!

Quaywest is one of the hotel in melbourne that i love to stay. This hotel is very well maintain and the rooms are looking great (look much more well maintain and newer than most hotels in melbourne). Most other hotels in melbourne are looking old inside the rooms even the 5stars hotels

My flight has landed in Melbourne very early in the morning so I was hoping that an early check in will be possible. The staff did their best and within an hour my room was available. Staff is very friendly, helpful and professional, helped me find my way around the area, advised on sightseeing tips as well as booked a tour. Spacious clean room. Great location in nice ...

We stayed in the hotel for one night only. Lovely building and quiet location. The Room facilities and interiors, and the restaurant staff and food, were definitely not up to 5* compared with others in Melbourne and internationally. I have paid similar to stay at Crown. I would stay here for a night again but only with a reduced tariff. Desk staff were very good.

Having stayed in many hotels in Melbourne this one was a welcome relief to some of the characterless chains. Friendly staff, beautifully kept rooms and within walking distance of most of the attractions. The building has a very interesting history also.

Quest always have high standards for cleanliness and what not. However my rating is poor for this experience due to the following; The accommodation was booked by myself on for my wedding band who travelled from Adelaide I contacted quest 2 weeks prior to advise the name of the person who would check in. I was reassured that there would be no problems Upon check in (...

381 is close to public transport (tram & train) & MCG (our main reason for being in Melb) but a bit of a walk from Melbourne City. Coles Express is conveniently located on the corner. It was a nice touch to have a coffee machine in the room but shortage of milk was an issue. We didn't want to buy a litre of milk for 2 cups of coffee. No instant coffee in the room apart...

There is a mini market just at the ground floor. Must try the swimming pool at level 52. Friendly and helpful staffs, perfect view at level 50, great location, just a block behind the crown casino. Great city for travelers, to live, multi cultural society, easy access and excellent food and option for stay
I was born there so what can I say! I moved 160km away for my work 50 years ago, but still enjoy visiting my State capital regularly.
Great ocean road and Philips island was fantastic. I book with Bunyip tours and their services was very satisfying.
Melbourne is a smaller vision of San Francisco mixture of culture and people great sea view and people
Awesome city to stay in. Easy to get around, always something to do, loaded with history, places of interest & culture.
Melbourne got alot of nice foods to explore especially truffles fries and pull burger. The asian foods are over-rated.
Expensive by Asian standards, Melbourne has a vast array of dining experiences, a nice casino if that's your thing (albeit with only one craps table), well organised zoos and nature experiences such as Healesville Sanctuary and the pick of them all: the Penguin Parade at Phillip Island (my opinion).
Great city with lots of fun. Enjoyed the great ocean road, phillips island, Ballarat gold mines and puffying billy.
Visit great ocean road and doing other outdoor activities during summer hot day with bright sunshine is always advised to apply sunblock cream.
Melbourne is an exciting city. The excellent public transport including the extensive tram network make it an easy city to explore.
Melbourne is a vibrant city, it has a great nightlife with something for everyone. It also has the best sporting arena's with the best of sports from Cricket to Aussie Rules to Rugby to Tennis.
Melbourne is a beautiful cosmopolitan city just that you are required to pay toll using the freeway regardless of it being weekends or holidays.
Melbourne is deservingly rated 'The Most Liveable City in The World.' It is a credit to it's city planning forbearers and the current day City of Melbourne City Council.
It was definitely a great way to understand Melbourne and some hidden and interesting café, famous buildings and the stories behind, and the CULTURE here! I’m so happy to have such an in-depth trip to the city.
culture and history is definitely Melbourne. The place is packed with histroical and great architecture.
Disliked the staff at the airport. Super slow check in at Qantas. Took us 20 minutes to get checked in.
Very cosmopolitan Easy to get around IF [and it is a BIG IF] you can master the public transport system Lots of parks - clean & green Excellent nature attractions within days drive
I thought it was much busier than I had anticipated, many more high rise buildings than expected, I possibly didn't some of the things some people seem to have been impressed by.
queen victoria market,philip aisland,great ocean road,royale botanic garden,brighton beach,state library of victoria,dfo
2 main attractions - CBD for a city type of experience (shopping, cafes, restaurants, bars/clubs and casinos) and out-of-CBD for sight-seeing (12 Apostles in Great Ocean Road, Yarra Valley for wine tasting, farm stay in dairy farms, healesville sanctuary for up-close experience with koalas/wallabies and others).
People here are friendly and polite. One peculiar thing I told my daughter that there were many graffiti everywhere you go including Govt properties like driving sign board and building and bridges.
The Melbourne I saw was old, with old buildings like the railway station and the old railway station that has been converted to a hotel but is beautiful.
Do find time to visit the 12 Apostles and take the Great Ocean Road scenic route along the coastline if you don't get too queasy in long car rides.
Melbourne is a very nice city with easyily accesable public transport. Nice food is plentiful and they are not too expensive.
Melbourne is a great city, well organised, from the minute you arrive at the airport, shuttle into the city, eating out, tours can be booked, fabulous
Once you get the hang of the street names and the free tram zone areas, you have pretty much know your way around the area.
friendly safe great food bright lights music in streets family feeling in central section good. artwork in small lanes.
Spent 8 nights in Fitzroy, just 5 minutes north of the city. Used trams and trains extensively using the easy MYKI swipe card system, cant get lost.
Negative: Smoking not restricted- so you choke eating outside - very off putting. Cigarette buds outside Victoria station downgrades the entire area and it is evident throughout the city that there isn't a smoking policy.
A great city to visit with lots to do whether business or tourist. Good transport system, though the MYKI system is a bit of a rip off for tourists as you have to purchase a card you may never use again.
