"The location of the hotel isn't ideal for a beach view, this was the first time we had gone to Mornington Peninsula but next time the location will be chosen closer to the beach as the hotel is a bit of a distance away. The hotel does have a purpose and they seem to concentrate on weddings and functions and this would be ideal for that, but a big no for just a holiday stay. Spend a little more and get that beach view."

"Pros Staff were very friendly. We had an inconvenient incident, completely our own fault and they gave us champagne on the house to settle our nerves! The interior design is very relaxing, cosy and clean. Had nice chats by the fire in the main lounge. There are some great places to eat nearby. Red gum bbq and a bakery down the road that was great too. The room we were in had a balcony that had greenery outside, was very calming and there is a great big garden on the hotel grounds that we went for walks in. Easy parking on site too. Cons It had been raining a lot during our stay so it was a bit messy getting in and out of the hotel due to the soil at the parking area being red and loose. So have some shoes you dont mind getting dirty ready. Our car got pretty messy too"

"We couldn't have asked for more in a hotel: great location, incredibly clean facility, fabulous bed and quilt, huge bath towels and comfy terry cloth robes and good breakfast. They accommodated us with an additional night stay as well, which hadn't been booked in advance. However, the only thing that disappointed me was that our second night cost considerably more than the first, which had been booked on line, and they would not honor the same price. "
