"We really liked this place. Comfortable room and use of gas barbecue. Really nice breakfast - one of the best on the whole trip. Lovely grounds and a large lake with good bird life. I'm mad on wildlife and it was great to have breakfast with parrots and rosellas all around us being fed. Friendly staff and good value for money. Can't find a lot to criticise here! It's a little too far out of Pemberton to walk in."

"we stayed in a lovely cottage with all the amenities we could ask for. we self catered in a kitchen which was well equipped with all the utensils that were needed. the hosts were very friendly and full of information for the surrounding district. there was a varied range of dvd's and games that could be borrowed from the office at no extra charge. being in pemberton we appreciated the open fire w2here firewood was plentiful and also the umbrella in the cupboard for rainy days. the bbq was amazing - cooked really well. we were two adults with another adult couple - daughter and partner from vancouver - the cottage provided privacy in the way it was set out. the propety has an amzing forest walk within it - beautiful australian bush - was marvellous. felt like we were in the middle of the forest far away from the pressures of everyday life. have to say that buddy was a highlight - what a beautiful dog - my daughter and her partner thoroughly enjoyed buddy keeping them company on their walk through the forest. will definately return for another visit."

"What a pleasant surprise this place was. On check in the host took the time to give us a layout of what was available to see in the Pemberton area, the best part was letting us know what was closed due to renovations etc. the host informed us the fire in the chalet was already lit which was a godsend as it was cold and raining. We sat in the lounge and just watched the rain come through over the lake, very relaxing. This place is designed for self catering if you don’t intend to eat out, there is a BBQ on the front verandah, hopefully we can use it next time. "
