Perth hotels & accommodations

I recently stayed here on a two week business trip. Two weeks in a hotel is not really an experience to look forward to, but the staff and facilities at the Pan Pacific made me feel very comfortable and in a genuine home-away-from-home. I was under intense pressure and worked very long hours during my stay, so it was the 5 star experience that gave my time in Perth som...

When I booked it through agoda it was the cheapest displayed on most of the hotels in Perth CBD...I stayed for 7nights I was surprised how big the room was it was very clean & the staff was very helpful & friendly...the location is the best close to everything from shopping center to all the best cafes & restaurants you can think of ...I have stayed in hotels in Perth ...

Chose to stay here as we had a bad experience at a cheaper hotel near by last time. For a extra $20 we got a 5 star experience. Super huge comfortable bed, ultra clean room. This hotel is no spring chicken, but fairly well kept. Quiet location off the highway. My first stay here and have already booked for my next trip with a late arrival into Perth. The menu was a lit...

Don't normally stay at older style properties when on business trips but all the 5 star Perth hotels were waaaaay over budget. Ambassador Hotel was pleasantly surprising. Lobby and restaurant are dated but rooms / bathrooms have been renovated. Food in restaurant good and with economical options. 24 hour lobby mini bar (great idea!) and. Ending machine. Guest laundry...

The hotel is rated 5 start but compared to other 5 star hotels I have stayed at, I would say its more like a 4 star. Its expensive for what it is but I think Perth hotel prices are more expensive in general. The staff were very friendly as most people are in Perth, and accommodating. The food was ok - not great, again, expensive for what it was. The room was ...

It may not be the greatest and newest hotel in Perth or the fanciest but we found the hotel to have a very good quality vs price ratio. When you first get in and you walk to corridor leading to the room you wonder how the room will be. But it change when we got in. Room are extremely clean, good bed, pillow and nice fixtures. Price a good and the staff have been ex...

The wife and I treated ourselves to a weekend away at the Crown and could not fault anything over the weekend we stayed. The service was fantastic. We were able to check in straight away and upon mentioning it was an anniversary the staff sent up a bottle of sparkling and chocolates which was a great surprise. The price of the room whilst on the expensive side was spot...

It is the second time we have stayed at this hotel - and mainly due to the impeccable room and services that we received the first time. It is a PERFECT getaway for a couple and six stars doesn't do it justice. The fact that you are far enough away from the main casino yet more than achievable walking distance is a huge plus. The decor is magical and I truly feel as a ...

Great place to stay when in Perth. Very friendly staff. I booked 2 bedroom apartment, and they upgraded me to 3 floor town house with 3 bed rooms. Walkable distance to Perth city center. I parked the car at the hotel, and then just use cat bus to go around Perth city.

Small, cosy apartment hotel with lovely and relaxing view of the pier. Really loved the location. We got recommended a nearby restaurant called 'Propeller' which is in our opinion, one of the best in Perth! What's even more awesome is that hotel guests get a 10% discount off the bill. Really appreciate the friendly reception ladies and them going the extra mile to rece...

We paid $170 for 2 nights, double bed and a single bed in the city with free parking, most Perth hotel charge upwards of $20/night for parking. Small room but enough space. Very good value. Only downside are the walls are quite thin and you can hear your neighbours.

I would certainly recommend this motel. They provided everything including a little kitchen space with plates, cutlery, microwave and even items to wash the plates. Good value for money and the best part was free parking which most hotels in Perth did not provide. Further, the hotel food was delicious and we even got a discount. No regrets. Highly recommended!

Originally thought it was a bit pricey when booking, but that says more about my limited hotel stays than the Mantra itself. On arrival at the room, I quickly realised that it, and the facilities had far exceeded my expectations. It was close enough to all the venues we had planned to visit. The kids and wife loved it and we had an extremely memorable stay in Perth, ...

I was a little apprehensive about the overall facility and the sound insolation of the apartment after reading from the reviews as this property was our 3rd choice after all the ones that in our 1st and 2nd choices list was taken up. I was wrong (so many of the reviewers were unfair about their comments) as the property fits our needs and requirements perfectly. The s...

The location of the hotel is in West Perth, not far away from the hustle and bustle of the city if you drive. The best part of staying in this hotel is the free parking that comes with the booking. The parking lot is just a couple of blocks away, roughly 3-4 mins walk. The public parking lots outside the hotel are free after 6pm/before 8am and on weekends, so it's quit...

We did an overnight after flying in to Perth. Hotel was easy to access and check in. Apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We walked up the road and found 3 restaurants close by. In the morning we had time to take a free bus in to the city, shop and have breakfast before we returned to the hotel to heck out at 10:00am. So convenient we will...

It’s not the newest hotels in Perth , but what you get for your money is brilliant . + location ( lots of Asian restaurant within walking distance ) + 10 minute walk to cbd + on-site Parking ( extra fee ) or parking on the street ( free on weekends or between 18.00 - 08.00 ) + Bar / Restaurant with happy hour every day ( 17.30 - 18.00 ) Most the times I booked...

Convenient location just a short bus ride from the central shopping area. Yellow Cat (free bus on a city loop) stops 50m from the front door. A great price for the space provided. After hours check in was straightforward. Appliances, furnishings and fittings were all well maintained and very clean. There is a small IGA supermarket across the road that stocks every...

We stayed here a long time ago now, thought id posted a review already! Sorry for the delay. The location and price of this place are great. We stayed here when we first arrived in perth and it was just the job. 5 minute walk to the city centre, right near kings park too. The building itself is a little old and dated now but still more than adequate. Free wifi, small k...

Located in East Perth and with free parking , it's good for those with car. Booked a 1 br and paid another AUD 15 per night at the counter for the extra bed set up in the living room for my kid. I walked to Perth CBD centre too and it's quite a straight forward walk of about ten to 15 mins. For good and value Italian food, the Italian restaurant at their Bailey's M...

Overall our stay was pleasant. The apartment was spacious, quite new in appearance with fully equipped kitchen. Outdoor swimming pool, sauna & gym. Located right next to the Hay street mall. Hotels in Perth are expensive but we booked our room for $170 a night as part of a 20% discount deal & that's great value in Perth. Although we had booked car parking as well & wer...

We stayed here at the end of a road trip around SW Australia, and really enjoyed our stay. The location cannot be beat - walking distance to just about everything in Fremantle, including the ferry to Rottnest Island. (The concierge was helpful in planning that trip.) Also rode the train into Perth to run an errand, and it was very easy. Loads of great restaurants nearb...

Our stay at the Duxtion was wonderful. I have stayed at many Perth hotels and this one would be the best. The staff are so friendly and any problems are fixed straight away. Always ready to get a taxi or help with any query.. Buffet breakfast expensive, but well worth it. I will be staying there next trip to Perth. Thankyou Duxton Hotel!

This lovely hotel boasts the best bedding I've encountered in my travels (LA, New York, London, HK, Singapore, Dublin etc). The king-sized bed was devine, the pillows out of this world. Breakfast was a feast fit for a king and the staff were generous in every way. Have stayed in a number of hotels in Perth and this is clearly number 1.
Cheap places to stay in Perth

Spinners is definitely one of the best hostels in Perth. The downstairs area is well designed and thought out. The well equipped open kitchen blends into a modern, comfortable dining and lounge area, with big screen netflix, pool table and outdoor barbecue area. There is also a laundry, bathroom and storage area as well. Hostel staff mix with the guests to create a ...

This would have to be the best hostel in Perth, esp. for long-term travelers who are looking for a quiet place to get well-deserved rest in between travels. I stayed in a single room, which was the cheapest I could find in the entire state. The internet is excellent here, which is a huge plus and actually quite a rare find in Australia. The manager is extremely friendl...

had an enjoy short trip to perth staying in the hive. the people were really friendly and had been staying for a long time. the hostel is well laid out, all of the rooms are on the top floor with the kitchen, dining and lounge areas downstairs. its lcoated very close to public transport and the city

The hostel is not new, as with almost all buildings in Perth. They have a lot of options for rooms (twin, twin bunk, dorm, etc). The standout was the service. The staff remembers everyone's faces and are very helpful (i lost my key and they returned it, they helped us get an airport taxi, etc).

I was very happy with this hostel. It is close to northbridge and the nightlife and restaurants of perth. The staff were very helpful even pumping up our flat car tire for us. They hostel is clean and facilities are excellent although the dryer was not working at the time. I would visit again and would recommend to friends.

I recently went to Perth over Christmas break and needed to find a safe and private room in a central location. Several locals recommended the Akara for its incredible location, staff, and facilities. I was truly blown away by the caliber of comfort and cleanliness provided given the price. The location was walking distance from public transport, great food, shopping...

How often do you get a chance to stay inside a world heritage listed building...and that too at such an attractive price point! I would highly recommend this to anyone intending to come to Perth/ Western Australia. Its a unique experience in itself to stay in a prison in actual prison cells and get all the modern amenities and comforts at the same time. Its very well m...

This is my first time stay at coolibah lodge backpacker with my fd, it was a nice place!!the staff very nice and helpful!but I really disappointed no free wifi in public area!! But overall is very good!anyway I will go back to this backpack when I travel perth next timw

The room is comfortable and big with en suite bathroom.Pretty complete amenities for backpackers. Free breakfast served daily (cereals, bread and spreads). Location wise, near Perth CBD and bus stand is just opposite the resort. Overall, nice place to stay and best part is free parking for guests.

Honestly, this is a good hostel. But with some wierd people who stays there. I stayed in a big girldorm, it was really empty but even if it would had been filled up have they made everything really smart. None off the beds disturbs to much off the lights in the roof. We also had the showers and toilets connected with the room so you could walk however you want to and d...

This place is located at very convenient and quiet place. 2 mins walk to train station and 3 mins walk to big supermarket. I liked their facility too. They have some big kitchens and they provide some plates and cups per person. And they have big TVs and we can watch movies. And what I liked the best was they have hair dryer at shower room!!

near to town, walking distance to train station (easy to get the train back to Perth city). big kitchen and happening cooking dinner together with other. We book room of 6 but upon check-in, we change our mind to the private room since the room is quite packed with other's stuff. I believe that the additional rack/ cupboard or other storage will help a lot in improving...

First experience travel in Australia and feel lucky to met in sundancer backpacker resort, nice and friendly receptionist that winning to help us, chill with us and make friends with us, and the facility occupied and comfortable, we can easy to suit inside the resort since we are easy to getting known each other new friend there. Feel relax, listen to favorite song, be...

I have booked a night, informing Agoda that will have a late check-in. When I got there from the station I was wer from the heavy rain and the place was closed. There was a note that the reception is closed after 6pm and a number to call, but after a few attempts no one was picking up the phone. So I called Agoda, which was also not picking up the phone. After a few at...

Location is superb! Near to CBD where you can enjoy weekend night at CBD squares. Night market on friday nite. Near muslim restaurant. Insan Cafe just beside the hotel and Love & Care Cafe at the corner. Ispa Kebeb about 500mtrs if you lazy to cook! Perth underground was about 500mtrs for us to explore Fremantle & Mandhurah by train. Caretaker needs to spend more time ...

Advantage: Student residence is spacious and quiet so it is suitable for solo traveller, family and a group of visitors to stay. Same as people in Perth, staff is really friendly and helpful. Staff also helped tidy up the flat and changed bedding items around twice a week. Disadvantage: It is better to have car when staying since it is quite far away from city cente...

The time I spent here was great. The facilities are far better than any other 'University digs' I have stayed in, both in Australia and overseas. The room was clean, neat and tidy. The lounge, kitchen and bathroom were all spacious, clean and comfortable. I was very impressive and recommend it highly to others. Yes, Murdoch is a way out of the city, but I knew t...

We were there for my niece's wedding in Perth, and although the hotel was 30 minutes away (the bride's parents selected it) it was the best choice. We got to experience the ocean and the beautiful area. I am also a geocacher and we found two geocaches right on the oceanfront. The grocery store right across the street was excellent and being right on the corner with t...

Stayed at the Waldorf block; albeit a short walking distance from the main reception area although there was a small reception at the lobby of the block but only opened Mon-Fri. 1 bedroom apartment was comfortable. Not the staffs fault but being aware of the backwards thinking of perths hotels still thinking that they can charge for wifi as some kind of extra privelage with some of the worst speeds in the world....was gobsmacked to be caught out by the hotel boasting a carpark then giving me a ticket for the adjacent carpark which was great....until was charged $30 a night for th...

if you book through Agoda, the room is already inclusive of breakfast. Among all hotels in Perth I can say that Miss Maud has the best breakfast spread. And now they have a lift! previously it was difficult to manage especially with big bags. Good thing they have the lift now. I will continue to make it my preferred hotel when in town.

Love staying at the Alex and was remembered when I checked in from my previous visits...I was even given my favourite room to stay in as well. Great way to spend Australia day relaxing with friends and drinking wine before heading up to the rooftop garden and watching the Perth Skyworks show. Breakfast included the following morning and served to 11am and while the co...

Front desk staffs was polite and approachable, able to explain details of available amenities. Apartment hotel room well maintained with basic facilities and kitchenette for simple cooking. A stone's throw away from car rental (Bayswater) and the bus stop right in front is where we take bus 380 to the airport. The red CAT bus is a 5 min walk to the street at the back. My 2nd stay for the trip before leaving perth. The courtyard unit seemed to be better than std 2 bedroom unit for its size. This unit is much bigger than the std unit. It is still very clean, and homely. Left our luggage with them on the last day, and we tour around Perth. After returning the car at Adelaide TCE, we took a public bus to come back, and took their ai...

Right in the city centre, walking distance to all facilities. Holiday Inn doesn't have a gym, pool and all the fancy little extras, but what it does have is convenience, cleanliness, 24 hour front desk team, who greet you every time you pass by, I know it's probably in their contract, but it did seem genuine. Fantastic buffet breakfast, great value or you could just p...

The location is 1 minute from the Cappucino strip. If you go by car book a car park, it is 25 per day but it is worth it. The Hotel is ideal for Business people not really for holiday makers. Free Wifi is good, as free coffee and fruits. Always good for a visit of Freo and Perth, from there you are in 15 minutes in cottesloe or downtown Perth.

We were in a group of 3 couples and we took the 3 bedroom apartment. This is probably the best located apartment in Scarboro. Seashell hotel and apartment has all rooms facing the sea, and its true. All rooms are air-con, master bedroom has a very big bathroom(Bathtub) and toilet, with a common bathroom for the other 2 rooms. Big kitchen, big living room, two balcony. ...

What an amazing hotel! Finally some propert luxury in Perth! We have stayed in many of the 'top' hotels in Perth and they were all quite disappointing compared to the 5 star luxury that's offered in cities overseas... until we stayed here! The serene and beautiful location stood out. It's about 30 mins drive to Perth city. But only 3 mins drive to the famous Margaret River Chocolate Factory. As it was cold, we would have appreciated if they had provided room slippers (which is a standard item in other hotels of this tier). Otherwise, the other amenities were good.

My family and I (all 8 of us) really enjoyed our stay at QT Perth. The rooms were all beautiful and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Bonus points for all the beautiful interiors used in the hotel. Their attention to detail is just wonderful. Too bad we never got to try the rooftop bar but hey, the coffee at the ground floor is really good. Will not hesitate ...

The Westin Perth is amazing! The room is spacious and the location is superb. With in a few mins work you are in the city center. For those with car they also have Valet parking service. Rooms were big, spacious and well/ newly furnished. Hotel staff were helpful, friendly and very accommodating. It would be good if the hotel has their own car park instead of having to park the car at a nearby car park. Nevertheless, I would still stay in this hotel again when I return to Perth!

Excellent experience we had. Location was perfect, has supermarket just cross the road as well as small restaurants at neiboubhood. House is also close (~10-15mins drive) to Caversham and Whiteman Park, also wine tasting places. We recommend this property.

Located just in the center of Fremantle old town. Less than 10 min. walking to Fremantle railway station. Room is spacious and nicely decorated. We received code from the property in advance, so the check in and check out were smooth and easy. There were eggs, milk, bacon, bread and butter in the refrigerator for the fist morning was good. Real reviews for hotels
Perth was lovely. We found the city to be extremely clean, not overly-populated and very easy to get around.
The attractions are scattered at north, south and Perth CBD so you really need to rent a car. The parking rate in Perth CBD is so expensive, so maybe you need to opt for free CAT bus if you planning to go around the Perth city.
Within the city centre there are a few attractions to visit for e.g. Perth mint, Bell tower, WA museum (closed from June 2016, and reopened in 2020), King's Park.
It is a vibrant city with various activities for different type of travel interests, but if you like outdoor and sightseeing, this is definitely the city to visit.
Without transport, many nice places can't go. Out of city many attraction places to scenery or sight seeing.
Make sure to go see; "The Pinnacles, Kings Park, Rottnest Island, Perth Zoo, Aquarium, Markets, and many more places.
My family enjoys the trip here. Visiting Swan Valley will be difficult to access using public bus. Advisable to rent a car
Very laid-back city, though I would recommend exploring more places outside CBD. The western part are all beautiful beaches ideal for summer.
Yes for it's sentimental city centre...the best fish n chips in Fremantle... Caversham Wildlife Park.
Perth is relatively small, but it's good to spend 1-2 days there. It's also worth visiting the surrounding town called Framentle.
Parking is very expensive considering if you have to visit places of interest in the city like at bell tower and the botanical gardens
Perth is the capital of Western Australia and is Australia’s fourth largest city. Perth is so far away from the rest of Australia it’s sometimes difficult to remember that it is part of the same country.
Shopping in City and suburban malls, esp the supermarkets are great. A visit to swan valley is great to get margaret river chocs and honey and nougats and nuts.
The annual Royal Perth Show at Claremount Showgrounds succinctly showcases describes the spectrum of lifestyles in Western Australia.
It is a nice city with quite a number of things to visit and eat. I would recommend checking out some restaurants by searching on their rating online.
My wife and I went there for 13 days (free and easy) and enjoyed the Nature and sightseeing of the wildlife.
easy to get around with great public transport. New waterfront development will be excellent when completed in Nov.
my first trip to perth so i have nothing much to share but i do notice there are a lot of vineyards outside of perth which is worth visiting and beaches as well.
Visit to Fremantle in the suburb is something refreshing. They have nice harbour view, old historical buildings and most of all is their famous fish and chips.
Perth has a laid back feel to it and I always feel relaxed when I get to visit. The beaches and Kings Park are beautiful, the shopping doesnt appear to be a lot different to many other cities and the international sports that are played here are great.
Perth is a peaceful, quiet city, no happening nightlife, not many fancy restaurant but if you're just up for relaxation this is the city you might want to visit.
Perth has all the hallmarks of a tourist destination as well as a homely ambience for relaxation. Recommend choosing your hotel wisely and not just on price and location but make sure to review credible comments, don't just look at the first few as I did and end up with a very bad experience, research reputation more thoroughly as there is a capacity for very rude and aggressive service.
Crown Metropole Hotel. Their per game bet is small and you can easily spend an hour there, gambling responsibily.
Perth isnt a large city by any means but is a very pretty city, with Kings Park and the Swan river right on the door step.
It was tough for a vegetarian in term of food choices. Moving around in taxi is expensive. Might as well rent a car if staying for a few days.
Perth is not a very busy City and not much thing to do compare in Melbourne and Sydney but it has a great potential to be a great city in the future.
This is a really nice city. Clean and easy to get around. Downtown the buses are actually free! They call it the (FTZ) free transit zone.
Perth is a very beautiful city. I have traveled most of the world's great cities and I would put Perth at the top of the list.
too many street people, could be cleaner. need more rubbish bins. rail is good. give your city a good wash and it would look nicer.
Clean tidy city. Very helpful Cat drivers and hosts. Also the Perth subway was great as we were trying to work out the directions of platforms a female staff member assisted us even before we we know we needed help.
