this hotel is very convenient for people who are visiting macao coming from guangdong. early in the morning and late in the evening there are not long lines at the immigration desk so that passing through the borders is very easy and fast. you can sleep in this 5 stars hotel in zhuhai for half the price you should spend in macao in a similar hotel. great service and very comfortable and big room.

The staff at this hotel makes this a must stay hotel in Zhuhai. The staff speaks English, they are friendly, and they meet any request you provide to them. I went to Zhuhai for business to attend AirShow China 2014 and the staff at the hotel provided the best possible service in making my trip to Zhuhai a very successful one. In specific, Carol arranged for and provided amazing support for a car to take us to the show each day and pick-up/drop-off at the airport. This hotel is very clean and the restaurant has a full menu with very good food at a great value. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Zhuhai, its great value for money.

This hotel is just 100m along from the bar and restaurant centre of Zhuhai. The street is a lovely fig tree lined street and where the hotel is has a lovely outlook across the River. If you walk out of the hotel and continue along the same street past the restaurants you will end up at the Gongbei Border building for Macau and for shopping. This is a 20 minute flat stroll (or a 10 RMB taxi ride home with shopping!). The hotel rooms are large with firm but comfortable beds - some in China are very hard, these are not. The room is comfortable with a good range of channels on TV, but the decor is not particularly modern. The reception and lounge areas are modern, clean and well presented with a shopping area. The big plus of this hotel is the staff. They are really friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

generally speaking i never stay at non brand hotels. after one night in the zhuhai holiday inn a decent place but no frills and a bit overpriced for china, a local business associate suggested the zobon? waow, upon entering the lobby i did not know if i was visiting a museum or checking in a hotel. staff overzealous but it’s a pleasure. check in while sitting in one of the two huge sofa chairs with written king and queen in the back, sitting in front of three lovely chinese ladies speaking excellent english. two minutes later escorted to the elevator by a lady and handed over to a bell boy. opening the door of the room and a second waow, very big room, clean, bright, big working desk with free internet and a king size bed. obviously all the necessary amenities are in the room including whatever you need in the bathroom. many hotels are cutting costs on the small items but not this one. i had an excellent night and good bfast in the morning. location is great, a starbucks down stairs and a great view of the south china sea. lots of taxis available to go anywhere in the city which is small anyway and the meter start at usd 1.00. i will definitely stay in the zobon again when in zhuhai. now you may feel that i am a bit too generous with all the positive comments so i need to be fair, the zobon is not the four seasons or the peninsula but at 1/10 of the price it’s a lovely experience

Guys, let's make the long story short. Zhuhai Angsana, is a hotel, that U go to Tailand without going to Tailand. The moment I first went in to the resort, it's so so Bangkok resort. The smell, the staffs, the decoration. Everything, makes me feels like I'm in Bankok. Foods are great, rooms are huge (i.e. starting with the lowest room charge, there smallest room is still huge). This is only my third time using this resort. Take my word for it, you wouldn't regret trying this resort. Expecially with your love one.

Watched Macau fireworks from the balcony of Macau ocean view room on mid autumn festival night, took very nice photos. It was great experience. Room rate is higher than other hotels down town, but if you want to watch Macau fireworks, Sheraton and St Regis are the only choices. However, if the hotel is full house, dinner and breakfast are problematic. Unless you have booked in advance, you cannot get a table for dinner by walking in. For breakfast, you must come to the restaurant early (before 8:30am), otherwise you have to queue and wait for 15 - 30 minutes before you can be seated. Having said that, the breakfast was good.

I had the most wonderful time in Zhuhai. The hotel was amazing, the front desk staff even though their English was not the best, they did everything to accommodate me. They booked me a city tour that was fantastic and helped me finding out the time for the ferry to Hong Kong. The hotel is located on a quiet street. It was a dream vacation. One of the hostess at the entrance of the hotel spoke excellent English. I am just wondering why she is not working at the front desk. I would most definitely go back.

I have purchased ferry ticket through your hotel but I was unable to board the ferry from Zhuhai Jiuzhou Ferry Terminal at 09:35 am to Skypier Hong Kong International Airport. I was instructed by the ferry staff to purchase another ferry ticket Y265 to Hong Kong Ferry Terminal instead. This is because the first ferry ticket was not meeting the flight departing time at 12:25 pm. With this change involved, I have incurred additional Taxis charge HK360 from Hong Kong Ferry Terminal to Hong Kong International Airport. This was not my intended journey and I would like to travel from Zhuhai Jiuzhou Ferry Terminal to Skypier Hong Kong Ferry Terminal directly. With detour in my travel plan, I have incurred additional costs fro the second ferry ticket (Y265) and Taxis charge HK360. Therefore, I would like to claim these additional cost incurred from your hotel. Let's get back again to advise me regarding this matter.

The hotel is nice and tidy, though it's not exactly what you would expect from a 5* service- and room-wise. Breakfast was surprisingly good for China (but still mediocre by Western standards), the best thing about it was that it wasn't all consumed by 8--9 o'clock as it happens in Chinese hotels. Good internet connection, but business centre fees were ridiculous (20 kuai fee to send a package, not including the postage fee itself, how d'you like that? When I had to send a parcel I just called SF express courier to my room, and it was, like, 12 kuai). Summing everything up, it was a nice place to stay, and I'd be happy if Chinese 3-stars were this way, I can give it one more star for location and view, but still it's only 4* by international standards.

Booked a baron room, turned out to be a car motel. It is highly advisable to be travelling in a car to stay at the motel. Location wise is far away from city area. By taxi is approx 150RMB from Gongbei to this hotel. Nothing nearby to eat/shop. Nearest attraction is a rundown theme park "Mystery Island", not worth visiting. Room is very spacious and clean. Uses alot of touch button features. Features a big bath tub enough to fit 2 person comfortably. Room includes a steam room which we didn't use. Staff is very friendly. I asked to cancel my 2nd night booking as the area is really deserted. The staff is very helpful with the procedures.

My wife and i visit macau every year. this year, we decided to spend a couple of nights in zhuhai to allow ourselves ample time to explore their underground shopping. i booked changan hotel thru agoda and got an excellent 1-day hot sale deal. this property is a five star hotel, offering free breakfast buffet and free use of a well designed in-door pool. breakfast has a pretty good spread with fruit section.didn't notice any foreigner here but majority chinese guests, breakfast catering to chinese dishes i.e. noodles nd congee, however, they do offer bread, pastries, and fried eggs. indoor pool is free of use. but steam bath and sauna come with a 68rmb fee. free room wifi, and has a desk top computer with webcam provided. our standard room was about 35 sq.meter but we were upgraded to a corner room which gave us 42 sq.meter. they have soothing foot spa for 88rmb. we had a 1-hour full body massage in our room for 138rmb, excellent after a tiresome trip. taxi to gongbei port will cost 10 to 12 rmb. however, coming back was a drag, because taxi drivers or private cars will charge a negotiated 30 to 40rmb 5 to 8 pm rush hour. hotel staff speak very limited english. surprisingly, their cantonese restaurant has excellent dishes with reasonable price, but menu only written in chinese. hotel surroundings don't have restaurants, shopping, or groceries to go to. however, overall, this hotel catered to our needs.

We booked a king sea view room and were offered an upgrade to larger sea view room. The hotel was very clean and well run, the room service food was great including the western selections. But the best thing of all was the hot spring / spa! There were around 60+ hot pools in the place and we could always find one which was free. The spa entrance of RMB168pp is well worth it.

This was my third time there and will be my last time for sure. Coincidently , I checked in the same villa as per my first and second time. Condition of villa has deteriorated tremendously since my last visit . Ceiling paint peeled ,wooden doors full of dings and scratches, faulty door , stained carpet and etc. Waitress at 粤湘情 was extremely rude and the manager actually hid himself when we wanna feedback the service standard. Base on the scale of the entire resort , it is indeed a 5-star hotel in zhuhai . However ,base on the overall experience , it is totally not worth for the hefty price we paid.

It was a great stay, at first is at doubt as it is not cheap at all on a remote island and new resort without any comment on the web. Turn out it worth the money. Nice room and we love the bath room + the swimming pool particularly. Room is filled with fresh fruit, drinks & cup noodles are all free to serve that is quite a surprise and we love the drinks they provided. Breakfast is ok, not supreme but good enough and the restaurant also have good view. One issue we encounter during stay is the only 2 ferry schedule per day can only be confirmed very last minutes due to strong wind weather which is not the fault of hotel. but hotel could have better backup plan that make guests feel more comfortable and safe about the trip. Overall a lovely resort! Staffs are at high standard!

Spacious room Great views Great pool indoor and outdoor Nice beach Ok food They turn off the room air-conditioning early in the morning waking you up with 26 degrees celsius temperature, had a room change on my second night but still the same, turns out it’s the whole building air-conditioning that they turn off. 3F hotel corridor smells like an abandoned building I would love to be back here soon, I hope they can maintain the facilities better because it is a great place for people to relax
