"I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Haeundae area. It's right behind the Grand Hotel and very close to the beach. The building is brand new, so everything felt clean and modern. There is a station where you can rinse off your feet when returning from the beach. I also enjoyed my free manicure. Overall an excellent stay!"

"The hotel is 5-minutes walking distance from Exit 5 of Haeundae beach and one minute walking to Haeundae beach. There are many restaurants and convenient stores near the hotel. Since I traveled from Jeju to Busan with morning flight and maybe the hotel occupancy was not too high the day before my arrival, I could check in at around 1pm. Nice and helpful staff can communicate with quite frequent English and a little bit Putonghua. The room is as same as the photos shown on Agoda. Room is spacious with independent air-conditioner. If the noiseproofing could be better, the room has a luggage rack and the shower is with door and hanger area, it will be prefect."

"Very convenient modern business hotel for shopping, Spaland, Lotte cinema, Bexco Convention Center, Busan Museum of Art & subway station. Clean rooms with very good shower facility. We had an Executive room which was pretty small but well laid out. The view was non-existent. Staff allowed us to check in much earlier than standard check-in time, however, which was very welcome. We didn’t book breakfast. Had hoped to grab coffee & pastry in the coffee shop in the lobby, but discovered that it doesn’t open until 10am. That was disappointing. There are a couple of Starbucks coffee shops only a few minutes walk away that open from 8am, though, so no problem. As is the pattern in so many Korean hotels, the indoor pool only opens in July & August. Never understand why this is the case, but hey ho, it’s Korea. Would stay here again on condition we could secure a room with a view. Looking into the side of another building really isn’t what I expected when I booked an Executive room. "

"Canvas Hostel is clean, organized, comfortable, and provides great value to all types of travelers who visit the Haeundae area of Busan. Canvas Hostel consists of 2 buildings (right across from each other) on a side street near Haeundae Beach. The staff is friendly and can speak English very well, so don't worry if you're a traveler who cannot speak much Korean language. Canvas Hostel is my favorite place to stay in Busan and you won't be disappointed if you choose to sleep in this hostel. Just make sure to check-in by 11:00 P.M. and you're good to go!"
