I stayed for 6 days and had a comfortable stay. The price was very cheap, which was great. The location is close to the BTS Phra Khanong station, and there is a Starbucks right after getting off. There is no convenience store nearby, but there is a TOPS mini supermarket that is open until midnight. They have fewer items than a convenience store, but they are cheaper. There is also a small open bar nearby. Next to it is a cheap local restaurant run by young people that is open until around 2 am and is convenient and delicious, but spicy, so be sure to ask them not to make it spicy. Also, be careful crossing the pedestrian crossing at the signal in front of the hotel, as it takes some getting used to. The hotel is a renovated former department store, so it has a unique structure. The building is old, but it has been well maintained. The breakfast has a good variety and is delicious. I was happy to see "Khao Niao Mamuang" (mango sticky rice) in the fruit corner. There are washing machines and dryers on the opposite side of the breakfast restaurant. Both are fully automatic and cost 60 baht per cycle. You can exchange coins at the front desk. However, it takes one hour for each cycle, so be sure to use them when you have enough time. But since not many people use them, it should be okay. As for airport access, the fastest way is to take a taxi or Grab from the Ramkhamhaeng station on the Airport Link. When you leave the Ramkhamhaeng station, look for the NASA Street sign, and there will be taxis waiting for customers. By the way, I took a taxi that didn't use the meter and paid 300 baht to get back to the hotel, and I used Grab to get from the hotel to Ramkhamhaeng station for 183 baht. In conclusion, if you want to stay at a good hotel in Bangkok at a low price and understand the city, I highly recommend this hotel, although it may be difficult to understand at first.

We stayed here for 6 days (Room 740) and loved every minute of it. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Based on reviews, we were prepared for a place that was aging and had seen better days, but we found the Hope Land charming. It has a grand hotel feeling (some of the common areas are huge) but could use more furniture in them to make them feel more up to date. That said, the hotel is sparkling clean and well-organized. We were in an Executive Suite with a pool view. It was spotlessly clean and well-appointed with a very comfortable bed, a complete kitchen, even a washing machine and drying line on the balcony. There is a nice gym with separate steam, sauna and jacuzzi for men and women. And one of the highlights is the amazing breakfast buffet, which offers choices of about 20 items, all of them delicious. We ate dinner one evening in the hotel dining room, which was inexpensive and also delicious. The hotel is a 4-minute walk to the BTS, and has markets, shops, restaurants and massage on the same block. Hope Land is an absolute treasure and our new go-to hotel in Bangkok.

We took the Executive Pool View room. The room is spacious and was very clean. The bed is super comfortable and everything in the room was working fine(TV, AC, etc...). though located really close to the sky train it was very quiet during day and night. only 2 minutes walking to the Phra Kanong BTS station and there are many shops, bars and restaurants around the hotel. there's a kitchen in the room which looks quite comfortable for cooking, only problem is that it is equipped very poorly. not even a soap and sponge to wash the dishes. other than that, the staff is very nice and helpful, there's a swimming pool(only 1.2m deep), gym and sauna. altogether, a good stay in Bangkok.

Lovely 8 nights stay in a good size Standard Double Bedroom (king size bed) with separate shower, bathtub and inclusive of daily breakfast buffet for 2 adults! With agoda discount, the total for 8 nights was SGD298.89, average S$37/night! The hotel has a few blocks, the one we stayed was next to Hope Land Residence (still part of the hotel). Most of the facilities are on level 3 of main block. The pool is shallow, only 1.2m in a corner and the rest is more like a dipping pool. Very well maintained and there are jacuzzi spots in the pool (the switches are wall mounted at a corner). There are male and female changing rooms, equipped with lockers, showers, sauna, steam room and a warm jacuzzi tub. Unfortunately, the Men's jacuzzi tub was out of order during our stay. A level above the pool, there is a air-conditioned well equipped gym. Breakfast buffet serves from 6am to 10.30am, just beside the pool. The spread was fantastic and delicious! Here is a list of some items. Timsum, pad Thai, carbonara, prawn fried rice, fried chicken wings, omelette, sausages, wide range of fresh salad, fruits, toast station, hot drinks corner. The only downside could be its internet connection. They are using hotspot instead of Wifi and often didn't connect well. And the hotel is undergoing some refurbishment, our main door has a door latch without the chain. Shower doesn't have toiletries holder. No hand towel rack. Despite these, the stay was still very comfortable. Right outside the hotel, there is a reasonably priced massage parlour with good masseurs. Highly recommend this hotel!
