Hotel location is excellent, at the corner of Bencoolen Street and Middle Road. Located close to Bencoolen and Bugis MRT stations. 24 hour eateries just beside the hotel. First/ground floor of hotel has the Ginett Wine Bar and 25 deg Burger Bar for those looking for some excellent food and drink options. Rooms were small but cozy, with storage space for luggage cleverly positioned in a cove below the bed. If you are travelling as a couple, take note that the bed is positioned against the wall and can only be entered from one side. Room I stayed in was tastefully decorated and cleanliness was OK. Sink and showers were quite small, however, will be a squeeze for larger sized guests.

Good priced, comfortable and conveniently located hotel in Bencoolen Street, near Bras Basah Road. Short walking distance to excellent outdoor hawker food court (Albert Food Centre) with fantastic local Singaporean food. The hawker food court is close to Bugis shopping centre and MRT line. The staff were helpful and the hotel and rooms are new. The bathroom was small but efficient. The Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast is available in the Gloria Jean Coffee next to reception but much better value and more options outside the hotel. Local Singaporean breakfast is available at the hawker centre [but no aircon there] or Food Republic on corner of Bras Basah Road [with aircon]. Bencoolen MRT station is across the road from the hotel and Bras Basah MRT station is around the corner. I would stay here again.

The room is clean and tidy but really very small. Fortunately I only have a hand carry size suitcase for short trip as the room has no space for check-in size suitcase. Location is the best selling point of this hotel. Bencoolen station of the Downtown line is just next door, Bras Basah station of the Circle line is in 3 minutes walk, Dhory Ghaut station with 3 lines interchange is in 7 minutes walk and Burgis junction is in 15 minutes walk. Bencoolen street is new and pretty with SMU and Nanyang Academy of Fine Art. Food Republic and Toast Box are right at the corner. The price is excellent for such a location, definitely recommend for non-family travellers.

have been staying at this ibis on bencoolen street for 2 nights - and i have nothing to complain; if i need to stay in singapore again, i will choose it again. the rooms are sufficiently equipped, clean, well maintained. bathroom with shower comes in handy for me, since i prefer shower over bath tub. the outside noise from the roads, etc., is quite effectively filtered out, so you can have a good, undisturbed rest, which is not in every singapore hotel the case. breakfast is usually not included, but for additional charge available - and their breakfast is quite amazing, big spread, proper bread - and you can take your own freshly brewed coffee from two coffee machines provided. this hotel has free wifi in the rooms as well as in the lobby / restaurant - and they also provide free parking in their multi-storey car park. this is definitely a big plus if you are driving because parking space in singapore is not easily available. the location is great, if you do not depend on staying at orchard road; from ibis you can easily walk in a few minutes to bugis and bugis junction, even to get to raffles city and marina square as well as suntec city is only about 10 to 15 minutes walk. right behind the hotel is one of singapore very famous temple (not the oldest one, though). taxi at the lobby are also easily available - but if you need to go orchard or other places a bit further from bencoolen street, you can reach mrt station bugis junction within few minuted walking - and from there explore the city by mrt (fast and convenient). in case you have heard about bugis street before - it is not anymore what it has been in the 'golden' past - now it is simply a street full of vendors, selling souvenirs and t-shirts - so, don't be disappointed. however, that has nothing to do with ibis hotel. one more remark, if you are driving, from bencoolen street you can easily reach ecp, aye and from there cross onto pie, sle and tpe.

Booked a King bedroom for 2 nights and absolutely enjoyed the stay. Room is spacious and clean, and comes with great view of the hotel's vicinity. Love that the material used for the design of the hotel corridors and room is mainly wood, which gives off a very comfortable feeling. Hotel lobby is located at level 25, and while the desk counters are not very prominent, the staff are very efficient and helpful in providing any assistance. Breakfast spread is tasty, and the gym is well equipped too! Superb location that is linked to Bugis MRT and shopping malls as well. Overall one of the best staycations I've ever had in Singapore. Will definitely come back again!

We enjoyed the loft room a lot, inside the room bottled water and clean towels are provided. The rooftop garden has a very chill and relaxing ambiance, the pool is great too with Jacuzzi, yet it is preferred to have warmer water. There is a big mall and some hawkers centre located adjacent to the hotel, with Bencoolen and Bugis station within walking distance. One of our favourite restaurants Ya Kun is also located within a few minutes walk. We also enjoyed our time visiting the National Design Centre opposite the hotel, and we could quickly get back to rest after leaving the Centre at 11pm. We left our room at noon the second day, and there was no cleaning service provided on that day even though we turned off the do not disturb button. Except that, we really enjoyed our time in Mercure.

I have been to many hotels in Singapore and this is the best so far. It's spacious compare to many with the same value. Not many come with swimming pool with the amount paid as well. It comes with complimentary parking and just located opposite of Bencoolen station, DT21 (blue line). It opened on 1st Nov 2017 so pretty new and some renovation is still on going at time of writing however it doesn't cause me any inconvenient. Orchard, Esplanade, Marina Bay, Garden by the bay just nearby. There are Food Republic and Din Tai Fung next to hotel and do try the restaurant (The Glass Onion) opposite the hotel if you do not want to travel far, the food is quite nice. The only con could be the sound proof however only when you are unlucky to stay next to some people who are not considerate and shouting till 2am which is in my case and the hotel is fully booked thus I am not able to change my room. Will be back if I am going to Singapore again.

This hotel is really clean with decent size rooms, great pool, very friendly staff. It is really good value for money for Singapore, as I got it in a pretty good deal with breakfast. Breakfast is mostly western-style buffet and it is ok, nothing amazing. Some things can run out if you eat late. The hotel is located about 4-5 minute walk from Nicolle MRT station, with last train at about midnight. Taxis are easy to use too. The hotel is not located in the most touristy area in Singapore, but it is also not as noisy. There are a few hotels nearby, an office biulding, hawkers markets just across the road, a few resturants, 7/11 a few minutes walk- so you will see a mix of locals and tourists on the street. Overall this is a good and safe area, and it is about 2 km from Marina Bay so it is all very close. This hotel is good if you’re looking for an affordable option for a decent 4 star hotel in a great location and willing to compromise for the luxury and famous hotel strip experince.

Hotel is located at a great location just along Victoria Street. Hotel is easy access to bus stops and taxies, and 2 minutes walk to the MRT station. Hotel Room is clean with comfortable beds. Restaurants and 24 hours food court is very nearby. Convenient shop 7-11 is just available next to the hotel. Hotel hospitality is good with friendly and helpful staffs. Great Recommendation as Bugis Street is just few hundreds metres away.

The first thing that made this hotel ideal for us is the location. It's right at the heart of the shopping areas like Bugis Street (less than 500m away) and Mustafa at Little India. The hotel is also just less than 3kms away from the city's tourist spots like Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Flyer, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, Merlion Park, The Esplanade. There are 2 bus stops located just across the hotel and 2 nearby mrt stations (bencoolen and rochor) so commuting via public transport wont be a problem at all. Plenty of hawkers like the one in Albert Centre scattered around the area as well. There's a good chinese and indian resto that is only 100+ steps away from the hotel too. Our hotel experience was ok. The lobby smells so good. Like cherry blossoms scent. The staff were nice and cordial especially the Filipino guy staff. Checking in was a breeze. In less than 15mins we were granted an early checked in. Room's well ventilated and clean. Aircon's too cold so set it manually.

This is not a 5* hotel so one should not compare. I had a great stay as always. The receptionists may not smile much, but they are friendly n check-in is a breeze! The standard rooms are not very small or cramp, in fact, is a reasonable size. They provide almost all the basic necessities, except for toothbrush & toothpaste n a mini bar/fridge - Standard room. But the rates are worth it despite its an old hotel. But the location is excellent. A walk to the nearest MRT is only less than 5mins! I have stayed her quite a few times, which i enjoyed staying; more than my current place (having to squeez in a roon with my sister). Not forgetting there is also a food court just behind the hotel n it take a mere 3-min walk! Will be back again n its 1 of my fav 3 star hotel to rest n chill with lotsa privacy. Take note: The aircon temp can be really cold - Which is good! Those who are afraid of the cold, remember to have ur jacket ready. Late check-out i got was only til 12.30pm, never once had 1 or 2pm check-out - Could be due to high occupancy. No room service but lotsa eateries around, so no complains. There's also drink vending machines and free ice machine located on certain floors. - Thumb up!

i had stay at some hotels in singapore at the same level as marrison hotel, and i think marrison hotel is stil giving the best offer to us. i dont complain about room space, since most hotels room in singapore are smalls. the reception and room service are friendly and very responsible to make the room ready. when i come arround 4pm there was no cleaning service staff (cleaning service staff not always on site), the receptionist was just run up to our room, clean it and make it ready for us, and back to lobby with smile. when we check the room, her work was as perfect as cleaning staff work!, we give thumbs up! for her :). facilities are work right: tv, hairdryer, waterboiler, wifi have very good signal, bed is comfort, towels are clean white. location : very good, very near with bugis street (bugis junction + bugis market) you can found alot of food option from burgerking, mc donald, chinese food, steamboat etc. transportation : very easy to catch a taxi, and near to mrt, i'd love to stay at marrison hotel again :) it consider modern, clean, friendly, good location for shopping and sightseeing, and cheap for it class.

thought that it was one of the most convenient location, i booked this hotel just 2 days before my trip to singapore. it really is (just 5-10mins walk to bras basah mrt station). but just a friendly reminder-- there is a construction going on the bencoolen street, mainly in front of the hotel. so, it is a must to walk towards/from bras basah rd or prinsep link to get/drop off from public transpo (which is very inconvenient when bringing luggage with you.) the time we arrived in sg, it was raining so we don't have any choice but to ride a taxi just to get to nearby hotel, still walk around 25m before we get into the hotel itself. me and mum are very embarrassed since we have our luggage with us. the good side is checking-in was very smooth, the receptionist, concierge and a guy (maybe a waiter/maintenance) in the restaurant are very friendly and accommodating. the room (king room) is nice, spacious and clean. bathroom is relatively spacious, bathtub doesn't have rubber mat, so your risk of falling/sliding is high. breakfast is good however, the food are just placed outside the hotel (although it is covered) as well as the utensils are exposed to the street with construction outside and public just passing by.

Well, Actually i never planned to choose this hotel while on Singapore. but it turns out to be one of the best things that happen on my trip. Location : very near from bugis location, surrounded by a very interesting street such as Arab Street and the most instragramable street on SG , Haji Lane. for moslem i highly reccomended this place coz you cant found a lot of tasty and halal food around, with a view of the biggest mosque in SG. Cleanliness : Room is very compact as i can tell, very comfort with a new interior there. Staff: Well they are exceptional. very kind and broad smile on their face. never bother us and always provide everything that we need . Facilities : Room is very modern. they provide us a phone that allowed us to make a call or browsing. and the best thing is they rent it for free and we can use it outside the hotel. they provide a still and sparkling water near the receptionist which is very good deal cos a bottle of water can cost you 1 dollar there. Overall, i am very satisfied on my first visit on nuve hotel. i will go back for sure. and i very recommend this place for a solo or couple traveler, who want to save money but not feeling ease to living on hostel. this is 3 star hotel that feels like a 4 star hotel. Conclusion : Highly Recommended !

First time using Citadines group facilities, which satisfying enough. We are family with 3 children, booking 1 bedroom executive and stay for 4 night. 1. Room: Spacious and clean 2. Facilities: Gym, Laundry coin, water dispenser in each floor for free. It will be better if you have swimming pool 3. Location: 5 -6 minutes walk to Bencoolen MRT, Rochor MRT. 10 minutes walk to Bugis MRT, Little India MRT. Close to Bugis Junction, Bugis+, Sim-Lim Square. Lots of singaporean street just cross-by the hotel. 4. Good and helpful staff Note: Just wondering, my friend stay at the same time with us with same room type, charged with same price/night, (but booking it from other application). Fact that they don't get charge for sofa bed arrangement is quite shocking. We've been charge $50/night which confusing us since it's inside the room and should be free facility. Repeat Order: yes for sure, but we will try to order it from other application since they include sofa bed arrangement ^__^

We reserved originally reserved a room at Fragrance Hotel-Bugis but was upgraded to Fragrance Hotel Riverside upon our arrival because the type of room we reserved for was not available. The upgrade was quite a blessing because Riverside was nearer to Clarke Quay, Chinatown, and Clarke Quay Central. It was also near the Merlion. Going to Sentosa cost us only S$9.90 inclusive of the booking fee for the taxi. Going back to the hotel from Sentosa via MRT only cost us S$1.40 per pax. Breakfast served was also delicious and proximity to Chinatown allowed us to enjoy good hawker food at the Food Street and Chinatown Complex. All hotel staff including those from Fragrance Hotel -Bugis provided excellent service. Hotel was clean and lived up to its name "Fragrance Hotel".

My first visit to Singapore and so did not know this hotel or any other, was very happy to stay here and would stay here again, most of my normal travel is in the middle east and in 4 and 5 star hotels, this hotel does not have the extra trappings (or charges) of a 5 star, but apart from that it could be a 5 star. The staff are all lovely and would like to mention Christie / Kirsty ( I was given two versions of her name) who works on reception - always a "good morning" to begin the day, and a few words of welcome in the evening, plus offers of umbrellas if it was raining. A lovely person, and very professional. I also appreciated Mr Hata Amin the GM sitting down with me and asking me about my stay and if there were any things that might be improved, I couldn't think of anything. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were very good and the choice of local or western food is a good idea, this was a nine night stay, though I did also eat out of the hotel some evenings Finally the hotel is very reasonably priced for Singapore, so, taking it all together this is my choice of hotel if I get to visit the place again, thank you to all at the Hotel Clover and I hope I get to visit you again.

we usually stay on bencoolen street but due to building the new mtr this wasn't a viable option. royal@queens was very close by wih good reviews so we gave it a try. royla@queens is a good standard hotel with large rooms and an excellent breakfast, great location next to art museum and right next to the bras basah mtr.. good service but the wifi in the room was a little unstable. all in all excellent value and we'll use it again!

i stayed for 4 nights at somerset and it have been wonderfull. i stayed in 1 bedrom deluxe with 3 young children (6,3,1 yo). with the king bed (180x200), living room with a sofa, fully equipped kitchen (electric stove, microwave, toaster, electric pot, plate, bowl, spoon, etc), they even provide you with dishwasher liquid and sponge. location just right in front of MRT bencoolen exit A, halal food just below the hotel. there is "putri" restoran that sell "padang" food and also accross the street we can find halal resto "sumber ayam" at the food republic food court. 7-11 also accross the street. Bugis jus 15min (30min small walk with children). taxi available in front of the hotel. we check out at 06.00 in the morning and there is a taxi in front of the taxi shelter in front of the hotel. overall its a very convenient stay and we will be back again if we ever go to singapore.

this hotel is strategically located between bugis and lavender mrt stations on victoria street. walking to these 2 station takes 5 to 10 minutes. or you can hop on to any bus on this road to get to the mrt stations; it's only 1 or 2 stops away. i was given a room catered for the disabled. the toilet is very spacious. not sure about other rooms though. overall it's clean but once in awhile the wardrobe needs to dust. breakfast is good! the coffee machine serves excellent coffee and the food is tasty. this is something not to be missed. overall staff performance is great! from front desk, housekeeping, to restaurant staff. i was always greeted with a smile and request to housekeeping is always prompt. the room comes with a safe deposit box, this is superb! there're also lots of electric sockets in the room which i find very convenient. the free internet service is excellent. it was up throughout my 5-days stay, whenever i needed it for my laptop and phone. yes, it was not only to be used by 1 device like some other cheap-skate hotels would do. this hotel is worth every cent. i'm very satisfied throughout my stay. i will definitely return and will also highly recommend this hotel to others. whether you're a business traveler, shopper etc. good job, alan (hotel manager) and team!

Getting to and from in singapore can be challenging, not with this hotel. Little India MRT station is a 5 min walk. Bugis street is also a 5 min walk for loads of shipping bargains galore. Have an authentic singapore ice cream sandwich located just before you cross the crosswalk to enter the Bugis shopping center. The staff was always welcoming and helpful at anytime you walked in the lobby. Long term bag check was available as we arrived on the morning flight and check-in was not until 3 pm. We just toured around a bit on the MRT and checked in later not having to tote our bags with us. We were offered a an upgrade to a nicer larger room one floor higher with (2) double beds. I debated in my head about taking it with no extra cost, but declined. We got a queen size bed, I don't know, but for a couple, you really want a queen or larger to sleep on. The downfall is the room size, it is a bit small. You can move around freely, but can get congested with a lot of bags on the floor. We used the folded bag stand to organize and make it comfortable. Shower, toilet, etc... nice, a little tough to dial in the water temp on the shower knob, I mean, its scorchin boiling hot or ice cube cold. Just took some experirmenting on get the handle in the right spot, the warm spot or cold if your back from a sweaty day in sing. The pool is right outside your window. There is a fitness area in the corner of the pool. Its in like a glass gazebo. They had quite a good aerobic, run, weight set-up. You could do your workout pretty easily using just maybe 3 pieces of the 7 or so pieces equipment inside. The pool has full chaise lounge chairs. Super relaxing, long pool, nice to do some laps or just cool off. There is a kids play area, so if your a family this is very good to break the boredom for the kids to doing something different than walk around with mom and dad on a hot sing day. I feel the 4 star price you pay, is really a 5 star hotel in comparison.

This hotel is very cheap than other hotel, there have many restaurants nearby, a restaurant that I recommand name is "Steamboat" there is buffef chinese food but the taste very near thai style. This hotel near Bugis MRT station, Bugis street, shopping mall and not far to go to the interesting place. I booked standard room for 2 nights, I got fourth floor It make me happy very much because my room is very quiet and air condition is very cold. First day when I checkin their elevator is out of order but they trying to repair it as soon as they can, finally It's work in evening. I'll book here again when I have chance to go to Singapore.

Near Bus shelter 9. Near Bugis MRT station about 700m & Lavender MRT station about 600m 10. Pleasant and helpfull Staff 11. There is a tree in front of hotel (our room), so we could hearing bird twitter in the morning, always. 12. Azan (Athan) is clearly heard from Masjid Sultan, so we never left behind jamaah shalat. CONS: 1. TV Cable just a few channel, about 6 or 7 channel, no children channel 2. No Water Closed sprayer ------------- We will stay again in this hotel if went to Singapore.

Great hotel and wonderful friendly staff. We have met some trouble few days before our traveling period. However, the hotel staff try all their best to help us and provide the best service to us. Me and my friend came from 2 different countries, and only my friend will be arriving at the hotel, and she only can speak a little bit English only, however, when I write an email to the hotel, their efficiency on replying email and also arrangement to help my friend who came from Japan is just fantastic and appreciated. Never-ever thought that we have booked a very nice hotel and great staff. Hotel location just nice, friendly and helpful staff is the best, cleanliness of the hotel perfect. I asked my friend how's she going to rate the hotel for overall, without thinking, she replied me 10/10! Great hotel ever. And will return back to the hotel again. Last but not least, thank you very much to the hotel staff and also manager. We definitely will go back to stay with you again and introduce to everyone. TQ~

One of the best budget hotel i've stayed in Singapore Best location It is very near in train station (bugis junction) near money exchange centers ( 3 - Bugis street, infront of bugis street, and in front of the street of the hotel) Near bugis street ( good place to buy souvenirs ) 7/11 beside the hotel lots of malls if you like to walk, you can walk to different tourist spots It's like the center for the tourist attractions in Singapore

You get what you pay for, and more. My boyfriend and I were looking for a budget hotel that meets our requirements: budget hotel, close to MRT, close to the city, quiet neighborhood, clean and with private bathroom. This hotel met all our expectations! It is spacious enough for two guests, we booked the one with windows (402). The sheets are clean. There was a fridge, a table, kettle, TV, closet, towels and 2 bottles of mineral water everyday. Coffee, biscuits and tea are also free. The TV has few channels ut it's okay since we're not there to watch TV anyways. The hotel staff are friendly. We got USS tickets from them for $68 with free $5 meal voucher compared to tickets purchased from the USS gates which cost $76. The neighborhood is quiet even during the day. There are two restaurants just outside the building, one at the ground floor and the other one across the street, near REX cinema which serves really good chili crab dish. It is a 2min walk to Little India MRT.

Pros: got water spray in the toilet, enough room space, very strategic location just few minutes walk to suntec city to hop on duck&hippo bus, bugis junction shopping mall & arab street. Bus stations are also nearby. Our check in was really fast. I think it was less than 5 minutes. The staffs were friendly and helpful. I also love the hotel cafe design tho' its not halal. Cons: non-halal hotel restaurant, no laundry shop nearby, can be a bit noisy at night. Probably because the room door was not soundproof. What stands out: price wise its really worthwhile. It fits my expectation. I hope you maintain your great service. Thanks.

I think you can't better hotel in Singapore at this price. Elegant and practical design for their relative spacious room (I like the shower room especially), quite at night, some cheap spa nearby, a nice indian restaurant open till late, etc. Of course it's not in the best area but considering the size of Singapore, it's still a better to spend a little more on taxi but much less on hotel. Staff are efficient and helpful, no complaint, but on my departure date there was some sort of video shooting in lobby, I was not informed so when I walked out of elevator the crew were staring right at me like I walked into a wrong place (it's c/o time what did I suppose to do ...) finally they allowed me out of the elevator to finish my c/o, but I had to drag myself and luggage out to wait for my taxi on the street because the lobby was still occupied ... By the way, want to thank the reception in their sister hotel at Sultan Street, she helped me to find the right hotel while taxi dropped me at the wrong place when I arrived.
