Hotels near Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal

This hotel is located centrally in, well, Central district of Hong Kong Island. It's some 10 minutes walk from the MTR station and in the heart of HK nightlife and dining area. There are connections to anywhere in the city by MTR, buses and you can get a taxi right in front of the hotel at any time of the day. Many boutique shops around it and no more than 10-15 minutes walk to the nearest mall. Many convenience stores, supermarkets, galleries are just around the corner. Airport express (MTR) is one stop away. To and from airport takes some 30 minutes from this hotel. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. Room service was quick and very helpful when we needed something that wasn't already there (wine cooler, ice, glasses, extra pillow...). The internet was really fast and stable. The room is small-ish but that's standard in a city like HK and it was very cosy and didn't feel cramped. Front desk was particularly efficient and helpful every time we stopped there. Check in took less than a minute and check out two seconds, it doesn't get any better than that. They helped us to figure out the neighborhood and suggested a number of places to visit and do while there. We suggest you walk around Central and take MTR to anywhere else you need to go. If going to Ocean park you can take a bus not far from the hotel. All in all it's one of the best boutique hotels in Hong Kong - thumbs up!

First and foremost, the staff in this hotel is outstanding! From the porters who stored my luggage all day to the front desk and maids, everyone went above and beyond! Competent sized room for a mid-priced Hong Kong Hotel. Everything was extremely clean and in good working order. Grocery store right at the entrance. Many restaurants and convenience stores within 5 minute walk. Best is the location only a short walk to the Hong Kong/Macau Ferry and very close to Hong Kong MTR Station for fast airport transfer. Sheung Wan MTR Station also close by.

We had an enjoyable 3 nights stay. I like the Chinese antique furniture – modern amenities with a good blend of traditional design. We love the big bed with comfortable pillows, everything smell good! Good location with lots of eateries and close to MTR stations – Central, Hong Kong and Sheung Wan. For travel to Macau, the Hong Kong ferry terminal is nearby – from Hotel turn left, walk down hill along Wellington Street to Bonham Strand, then turn right to Hillier Street, go underground via Sheung Wan MTR entrance/exit A2 and get out at entrance/exit D.

Wonderful hotel. Perfect location to city get away, 2 minutes walk to main tram line. Local market and seven eleven just outside hotel. Only minutes away to Macau Ferry Terminal and few extra to hong kong central station. Wonderful staff performance, very helpful! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed there 9 nights and really enjoyd our stay. Definitely the best deal in hong hong. Hotel has nice designed rooms and lobby. You won't be disappointed, book your room now!

The location is 5 minutes walk from the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry terminal, approximatly 15 minutes walk from the Lan Kwai Fong area. Easily access to everywhere, the staff were friendly, and the rooms were so nicely decorated with chinese furniture, especially their toilets. The price we paid for a standard room was higher than other hotels,so we were expecting bigger rooms, luckily they upgraded us to the deluxe room, because i managed to peek into a standard room...it was tiny.

Unreal room on the 23rd floor. That he would be so luxury, we did not expect. All the high technology. Up to the self-opening curtains and the Dyson hairdryer, working according to unknown laws of physics. No less significant surprise was 1 room for the whole floor. Anyone who will be in Hong Kong would highly recommend Akvo Hotel. Service, reasonableness in the details, a amazing view of the part of Hong Kong. The center of the island part. Lots of lighting variations, good digital-sound, a cappuccino coffee machine. Windows to the floor and etc. Thank you so much for your hospitality and smiles.

This hotel is actually in an excellent location. To reach the hotel, you can take the airport shuttle A11 and drop off at the Hong Kong-Macau ferry terminal. The journey time will only take around 35-40 minutes, and you will save loads of money by not taking the airport express. Hong Kong-Macau ferry terminal is only 3-5 minutes walk away, making it easy to get to Macau for a short day trip. Instead of walking to Sheung Wan MTR, take full advantage of the cheap and excellent tram system, there is a tram stop right next to the hotel. It is a great way to access most of the attractions on Hong Kong island, you can easily reach Sheung Wan and Central, or even Wanchai/Causeway bay/North Point if you have all the time in the world. Did I mention that it is only $2.30 per trip? The hotel is new, which is a blessing in itself as compared to the old and decaying buildings everywhere in HK. The rooms are small, but reasonably spacious by HK standards. The saving grace was the high ceiling which helps to create alot of room space in spite of the limited floor area. For those who complain about poor TV reception, click on the HDMI button on the remote control and you will get to watch all the local channels in full HD glory. There are both cantonese and english channels for your viewing pleasure. Booked a city view room, but was pleasantly surprised that there is a narrow view of the ocean. On the surface this might be the dead boring part of the town, with all the dried seafood shops but there are lots of hidden gems and good food in the vicinity.... there are many boutique cafes and eateries along Hollywood street and further up the hill, I would recommend people to take the mid-level escalator up, then walk down... it will be an easier walk! we made the mistake of walking up from sheung wan on the first day and it was a treacherous hike. In short, take the effort to explore the vicinity and you will be rewarded :)

We have been there for the second time already. Both times we felt the hotel as exemplary. From the lobby to the guest rooms everything is very nicely decorated and exudes luxury and comfort.The hotel is overall large. It has unobtrusiveness although it shows luxury. At the breakfast, lunch and dinner is a very large selection of dishes from east and west of the world available. Everything is fresh. In addition, the hotel still has in-house restaurants which present further more dishes on the highest culinary level. The entire staff works very well, even in situations of strain. Personal wishes are taken into account immediately. Taxis for the mobility of the guests are available immediately. Very good is the direct connection to the shopping mall Pacific Place, one of the best addresses for shopping in Hong Kong. The only disadvantage : There is no free Wifi in the hotel .This should be improved from the hotel in the future because already the most hotels in Hong Kong have free offer for Wifi. There is hardly any better place for a hotel stay in Hong Kong. A lot of the city attractions are nearby. Also the accounting process was carried out highly reliable from the hotel after we finished the stay.

the hotel really live up to its reputation: very small. having said that, the location is very convenient! it's just less than 5 minutes walking distance to nightlife hotspot, lan kwai fong, 5-10 minutes away from central mrt station, hong kong station (to go to the airport), hong kong-macau harbour, as well as tram station to go up to tai ping shan. there are a lot of eateries around, and quite a number of them were featured in travel book, such as the 50 years old dim sum shop, the origin of yin yong (milk coffee mix with milk tea), etc..

I love this hotel. It is the best hotel (for my needs) in Hong Kong. Very new, very clean, very comfortable, very well located: close to tramway, MTR, Macau Ferry Terminal and not far from the Airport Express terminal in Central. Very nice and helpful staff, But I shouldn't say such nice things about the hotel, or you will all want to stay there and then next time I go there will be no vacancies

Service is superb. Kudos to the front desk, housekeeping, waiters and concierge! One of the best I have come across. Would have taken the time to personally thank each of them if was not in a rush. Room size is big compared to most hotels in Hong Kong. I booked the 2 double-bedded room cos there were 3 of us. The room was clean and the housekeeping team constantly kept it clean. The hotel is connected (through an underpass) to the Admiralty train station, which is just a stop away from the Central station. It is also walking distance to a tram station. Overall, loved the hotel and will certainly come back again if i have the chance. Pricing is a bit steep though but for the service we got , it's worth it

My friend and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. We got upgraded to the suite! The reason I chose this hotel is its rating, many people gave them a high rate for the hotel. The lobby looks small but fully equipped. Front dest staffs are very nice and willing to help, so are the concierge guys. They did not request any tips. The first impression of the room is that it is bigger than the normal hotel rooms in hk. However, the bathroom is a bit small, I would hit the wall when I turned around when I was showering. But, this is Hong Kong, you can never expect too much room. The location of the hotel is mid level, which is pretty cool, since you can have a great view of the Hong Kong island and the harbor, even though the harbor view is small, better than none. They have offer the shuttle bus from the hotel to central, such as IFC. So it is quite convenient to enter the other part of Hong Kong. Plus, there are several buses just stop in front of the hotel. And if u are taking the mtr back to central， it would usually be 20 hk dollar to get back to the hotel by taxi. The bed is very comfy in general!

How should I begin to write? This is not my first time staying here. I'm very picky person and has stayed in many five stars hotels in Hong Kong but none others could match this one. That's why I keep coming back. This trip to hotel I forgot my Mobile phone on the taxi. Soon after I checked in I realized I've lost it! The concierge kept calling my cellphone and finally reached the driver after 4 hours of attempt on calling the driver. They managed to get my phone back the next day! Everything in this hotel is spotless, the cleanliness, the check in and out process, they even walk you to the car and greet you upon departure. Oh and the room that I was upgraded was very spacious. All this make me feel like coming back home every time. I visit Hong Kong. What more can I say?

This is rated the best hotel in Hong Kong and we saw why. Magnificent designer room (we had a harbour view 70) excellent service - sending us detail on good local restaurants before we arrived was wonderful. The hotel is pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. The views from the room were superb and nice touches like free mini bar (for everything except wine and spirits) and excellent espresso machine. We did not want to leave.

I chose this hotel because of its location. We entered Hong Kong from Macau. It's a walking distance from the Hong Kong - Macau ferry terminal. It is also very near the Sheung Wan MTR station. There are restaurants nearby. The only downside on its location is the stores selling dried sea foods and herbs. It's like Ongpin and Divisoria in Manila. The website says no room cleaning is done on Sundays and holidays but the room was already cleaned when we returned that Sunday afternoon.The room is big compared to other hotels in the vicinity.

we stayed for one night in the ywca hotel garden view on a weekend break from macau. it's not easy to find a nice, comfortable, clean and affordable hotel in hong kong but this hotel is just it. we asked for a non-smoking room and it was actually a non-smoking room, usually in hong kong it means a room stinking of tobacco mixed with anti smoker spray. the rooms are not as small as most of the rooms in hong kong, they are very clean, very bright due to the great windows facing the harbor and the views are stunning. the front desk staff was very efficient and friendly. would definitely recommend to stay here if you are looking to spend less then hkd 1,000.

The Jervois and it's sister properties at One96 and 99 Bonham are my favourite places to stay in Hong Kong - and the Jervois is my favourite of the favourites. The rooms are all actually suites with a separate living room and the amount of usable space you have is high. The design is outstanding - modern and stylish. Also love the location in Sheung Wan, which is much more fun than the more business-y areas of Central and Wan Chai. Great restaurants and cafes are nearby. You realise you don't need many of the things that a full service hotel offers (like room service) and would much rather have the location and space and privacy of the Jervois than the tiny tasteless room you'd get at even a high-end chain hotel. If you're hungry at Jervois, just order Deliveroo from Chachawan and in 20 minutes you'll have some of the best Thai food you'll ever eat! Couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough. It is incredible value for money.

I am so impressive since the first day I arrived. The service is beyond my expectation.The staffs are very helpful, full serviced minded and friendly. The room is clean and quiet.The facilities in the room are all you need. The location of the hotel is perfect since just very short distance walk to Sheung Wan Station and not that crowding so we can take the full rest for my business trip. . It was also my birthday during the stay. The staff and management team was so caring and surprised me with a cake in the refrigerator. It is one of the most impressive stay I have ever experienced from many many trips I have taken. I would definitely recommend my friends and colleagues to choose this place whenever they travel to Hong Kong especially those would have the businesses or want to stay on Hong Kong Island.

My trip was 1 more stay to Hong Kong because of the typhoon, which delayed my flight. I reserved City View but upgraded to Harbor View, and the staff were very kind and didn't say anything unnecessary. The sauna was small but clean, and the amenity quality was great. The amenity inside the room was a Bottega Veneta product. The Harvard view room was really the best. It is expensive room rate but minibar is not free, so I felt sorry. The indoor pool was rather small. Although the room view was good, I wonder if I will visit next time because the room rate is too high. But it was one of the best hotels I've ever used.

i want to just start my review off with "stay at this hotel." just in case you don't read the rest of my review. i absolutely loved this place. first off it is a beautiful and clean boutique hotel in a great location of the city. there is dining, shopping, and nightlife around every corner. the rooms were incredibly clean and they provide a complimentary mini bar. of course they have free wifi with good connection speeds. our room had apple tv set up on the television which was a nice change from the $10 old movie selections i have come to expect from hotels of this caliber. the bed was comfortable and the shower was spacious. but after saying all of this the best part of the hotel is the staff. william, ada, and another gentleman (who's name i regrettably can't remember, i'm sorry) were always there to suggest the most amazing things to do. please speak to the staff about any questions and ask for their recommendations. i feel i have said enough and i would once again suggest staying here while in hong kong.
