Hotels near IFC Mall

We were first checked into a bouble beds room, but the bed was just to small and requested if they have a single big bed room available. First the front desk said they didnt have any, then she called again said that she could make one for us. The first one was a corner room had big windows of great view over two sides,but second one was on executive floor and with only one small window, but much bigger space. Yes the floor had spots, and yes, u can hear ppl in the hallway and nextdoor, so be careful if u dont wanna ppl hear u doing stuff, haha be we didnt care. The hotel has great location, within 1 min walk u can find cafes for western breakfast but the one we went was just okay, and one dim sum brunch restaurant was quite nice. and couple of sushi stands and local food places. and we used to walk to sheung wan mtr station, and even central and IFC mall and ferry port, only takes 10 min. u can only ask the staffs there about the directions, they r very happy to help.

One of the best hotel experiences we've had, with fantastic value for money. We stayed in a suite, which was better than the picture reveals. In fact, perhaps the worst thing I can say is that the hotel undersells itself - I stared at that picture a long time trying to size it up. As it turned out, the living room and bedroom were modern and comfortable, with all the same amenities in both rooms save for a normal bed in one and sofa bed in the other. Both had great showers, TVs, separately controllable aircon, etc. Added bonus were outlets built into the desk for USB phone charging or connecting to the TV with any number of cables you might bring. Staff was friendly, well spoken and readily available. However, I did need to request a couple of included items such as a free portable WiFi and breakfast vouchers. On that note, breakfast is at a nearby restaurant with only once choice on offer. It was OK for free, but you can do much better. It's in a very convenient location with an eclectic mix of old and new. All in all, if you're looking for a value place to sleep and stay, this one is hard to beat.

Very convenient Central location. Easy to get to IFC mall, CentralHK MRT station, HK Airport Express Trains. The mid-level escalators make things convenient to go further up and hit up Lan Kwai Fung. It’s very easy to lose your bearings at night time so take a few minutes to figure out how to locate Wellington from the mid-level escalators. Rooms are very clean and contemporary design. Cold AC. Don’t forget to empty the dehumidifier daily to make your stay more comfortable. Beds were clean and comfortable. Quiet stay. The mobile 4G hotspot that was included was helpful around HK, but SmartToneHK offers some excellent 4G LTE local SIM cards for the week that also work in Macau. Recommended by a local friend and very worth the $. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again on my next visit thru HK. (No gym, pool, or free breakfast). But with so many other local inexpensive options that’s not really a negative in my book.

Location is really close to central train station and if you are crossing to tsim sha tsui, you can take the star ferry for only $2. Hotel is near IFC mall and famous night spot Lang kwai fung. Going to Causeway bay is also easy. Just take one bus right infront of the hotel Service was really good. Staff very friendly and helpful and all of them speak really good english I will be staying in this hotel in all my future travel to Hong Kong

I have stayed at Lan Kwai Fong Hotel three times, both on family and business trips, and I plan to book it in the future. It is a reasonably priced and service-minded place in a central location. (More than half of my meetings were within easy walking distance.) Although it is in the Central district, it is sheltered from heavy traffic and hectic crowds but close enough to walk to all main destinations, and to the Metro and airport express train stations. The antique shopping district begins immediately behind the hotel and there are plenty of restaurants and bars. (Despite the name, this hotel is not in "Lan Kwai Fung", which is a sort of Alcohol Alley about a ten-minute walk away). It takes about 15 minutes to wak to the airport express trains, taking Wellington Street to the pedestrian bridge and following it to an escalator in the IFC Mall. The train takes 25 minutes to or from the airport. One very nice feature of Lan Kwai Fong Hotel is a self-service lounge on the fourth floor, partly enclosed and partly open, with free coffee, tea and Wi-Fi. (Internet in the rooms is not free.) Pleasant place to work. I had some problems connecting to Wi-Fi in the lounge, which the staff tried to be helpful about, but with mixed results. Rooms are small, because it's Hong Kong. Each floor has one "mountain view" room, which is what you might get upgraded to, but in my opinion it's not worth paying extra as the rooms are the same size. If you have trouble walking on steep streets and sidewalks with steps in them, you will probably want to stay somewhere else, unfortunately. I recommend the French bistro in Pak Tsz Lane Park, which is in a hidden courtyard between Aberdeen, Gage, Peel and Hollywood.

Superb hotel with amazing facilities. Attention to detail for the 4 yr old was great (smaller dressing gown ant turn down time, with his own slippers for example). Not sure the great view across the harbour justified the price premium over other 5* hotels in Central or Admiralty areas to be honest as it is located all the way down in Western so you dint see much of the TST skyline from the room. Would stay there again - really easy to get around, connected to IFC mall for food, shopping, transportation and right above the Airport Train.

The Harbour View room has superb views and was excellent value for the price, considering Hong Kong's high hotel rates. The room is not large but is everything you need if you are out during the day, and has a big enough desk to work from looking out over the view. I was worried it would be too far away but the MTR was a short walk away, the airport express shuttle bus does a free drop off and pick up directly outside, and I ended up walking everywhere anyway which was quite easy to do (15-20 minutes to Midlevel escalators, 15mins to IFC mall, 25 mins to the Peak tram). The area is a a really great mix of old and new and close to some great restaurants/bars/cafes on Hollywood Rd.

We have been there for the second time already. Both times we felt the hotel as exemplary. From the lobby to the guest rooms everything is very nicely decorated and exudes luxury and comfort.The hotel is overall large. It has unobtrusiveness although it shows luxury. At the breakfast, lunch and dinner is a very large selection of dishes from east and west of the world available. Everything is fresh. In addition, the hotel still has in-house restaurants which present further more dishes on the highest culinary level. The entire staff works very well, even in situations of strain. Personal wishes are taken into account immediately. Taxis for the mobility of the guests are available immediately. Very good is the direct connection to the shopping mall Pacific Place, one of the best addresses for shopping in Hong Kong. The only disadvantage : There is no free Wifi in the hotel .This should be improved from the hotel in the future because already the most hotels in Hong Kong have free offer for Wifi. There is hardly any better place for a hotel stay in Hong Kong. A lot of the city attractions are nearby. Also the accounting process was carried out highly reliable from the hotel after we finished the stay.

I stayed at the Bauhinia several times. It's my favorite choice when in HK. The location is really good, right next to MTR Sheung Wan and Shun Tak center. Only 5-10 minutes walk to IFC mall or SoHo. The Hotel has really nice and comparably spacious rooms for HK standard. The best thing is that there are not so many floors used for the hotel in this building: only 4 floors. This means, you can get in and out in a matter of two minutes. Most other HK hotels in this area have up 30-40 floors and some only have one or two elevators, which means it takes forever to get in or out. It seems this hotel is mainly used by business people or some foreign travelers. No big and noisy Chinese travel groups in here ;-) There's a gym and a breakfast/tea room on 4th floor, where you can enjoy some freshly brewed coffee and snacks for breakfast and tea. As there's only 4 floors, there's no chance to get a "room with a view", that is, a room with a nice harbor view. So if you the first time HK visitor and you want to have a nice view from your room window, then this place is maybe not that perfect for you (in this case, check for the IBIS or Holiday Inn Express Sheung Wan, which offer harbor view rooms) Well, I'd always come back to the Bauhinia hotel when I'm in HK! :)

The best part of my stay at the JW Marriott in Hong Kong was the location. The hotel has an entry directly into one of Hong Kong's premier shopping malls - Pacific Place - where there is a large selection of great restaurants and a sizable grocery store. An added bonus was that the room had been recently renovated in tasteful and soothing colors. A really cool thing was the "service" button in the room. Within two minutes of pushing this button, a member of the housekeeping staff would be at my door! I asked for a late check-out and was pleasantly surprised that housekeeping still came to my room that morning and did a full clean-up of the room and bathroom. While the room was smaller than I expected, the massive two wall windows (with green mountain view) more than made up for the lack of space.

We were delighted to be staying at The Pottinger. We were pleasantly surprised by its upscale rooms and space. Although a boutique hotel by nature, the room we booked felt like a 5-star one. The location of the hotel was fantastic too and within walking distance to IFC, the MTR station and food joints all around Central. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a premium, but value-for-money, stay in the city.

Upper House is one of the 3 House Brands (the other 2 are Opposite House in Beijing and Temple House in Chengdu) of the Swire Group and Upper house is the best! Pros: Very stylish and modern design. Down to detail care and service from the extremely friendly staff. Very spacious and clean room with gorgeous mountain view and harbor view. Tasteful restaurant offers delicious western food and spectacular view of the Kowloon Peninsular. The hotel was right above the Pacific Place shopping mall with easy access to numerous shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and grocery stores. Shangri-La HK Hotel, JW Marriot HK Hotel and Conrad HK Hotel are all within 5-minute walking distance from the Upper House. Cons: There is no elevator on the ground floor. We had to take the escalator to the 1st floor to take the elevator. We travelled with a baby. The baby must be taken out from the stroller every time we get in and out of the hotel. There is no Chinese restaurant. We found it hard to find supplementary food for our baby in the hotel. Conclusion: A very stylish, high end, luxury boutique hotel that is more suitable for a business travel or a romantic vacation than a family travel with young children. Will come back again but most unlikely with a baby.

It was a very pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious with a small kitchen (microwave, sink, fridge, induction with pots and utensils). There is also a Nespresso machine. The location is very good, 3-5 minutes to Sheung Wan MTR and about 10-15 minutes walk to Central, IFC Mall and Landmark shopping centre. There are also a few good places to eat around this area. The staff speaks good English and are helpful.

YWCA it’s a nice Hotel, every time we go to Hong Kong we stay in YWCA. The location is good you’re middle in Central area. By taxi from Central MTR station or IFC mall only about 5 minutes and cost’s roughly 25 HK$. If you up to spend your evening in Lan Kwai Fong it’s only few minutes by taxi and cost’s less then 25 HK$, is quite convenient especially when you go back and you grabbed a bit to much or just right . Just don’t forget to buy you a water because in the Hotel is no complementary water. The rooms are quite big for Hong Kong circumstances. Staff is very friendly never had problem there.

Was nice to have an apartment with more space and full kitchen during out stay in Hong Kong. The views of the city and tons of natural light added a exciting element to staying in the middle of downtown. We were also walkable to most of the locations we wanted to visit - malls, IFC, restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to any leisure or business traveler.

The staff were great, even when we set the fire alarm off and had 4 fireman in our apartment. My partner and I chose to stay in a serviced apartment at the end of a 3 week holiday in Asia. Hong Kong has one of the best varieties of fresh produce and groceries in the world. The Jervois is located a short walk from the fresh produce and seafood markets on Peel Street, whilst being only a 3 minute walk from Sheung Wan station - perfect for those that want to pop to C!tySuper at the IFC to pick up your French cheeses and Himalayan pink salt crystals. The kitchen is small but modern and more than adequate to toss your live rainbow king prawns in fresh local chilli paste and giant mainland garlic. There is a European wine shop up the road on the right to compliment. Recommend making use of the BBQ facilities on the roof. Ask in the morning before venturing out and by the time you get back, the pristine BBQ will be stocked with gas and all of the utensils required to host an al fresco evening with friends and a view.

One96 location is fantastic. We could walk to many restaurants, eateries, Macau Ferry Terminal, IFC Mall, The Landmark, MTR stations, Tram trolley, Wellcome Supermarket, Jasons Supermarket, almost everything were within reach. It was good for exploration. However, the room was not as large as we imagined it, or as described. Still it was larger than most hotels in HK. Would we come back again? YES. Would we recommend to friends? YES.

My trip was 1 more stay to Hong Kong because of the typhoon, which delayed my flight. I reserved City View but upgraded to Harbor View, and the staff were very kind and didn't say anything unnecessary. The sauna was small but clean, and the amenity quality was great. The amenity inside the room was a Bottega Veneta product. The Harvard view room was really the best. It is expensive room rate but minibar is not free, so I felt sorry. The indoor pool was rather small. Although the room view was good, I wonder if I will visit next time because the room rate is too high. But it was one of the best hotels I've ever used.

i want to just start my review off with "stay at this hotel." just in case you don't read the rest of my review. i absolutely loved this place. first off it is a beautiful and clean boutique hotel in a great location of the city. there is dining, shopping, and nightlife around every corner. the rooms were incredibly clean and they provide a complimentary mini bar. of course they have free wifi with good connection speeds. our room had apple tv set up on the television which was a nice change from the $10 old movie selections i have come to expect from hotels of this caliber. the bed was comfortable and the shower was spacious. but after saying all of this the best part of the hotel is the staff. william, ada, and another gentleman (who's name i regrettably can't remember, i'm sorry) were always there to suggest the most amazing things to do. please speak to the staff about any questions and ask for their recommendations. i feel i have said enough and i would once again suggest staying here while in hong kong.

and it’s exactly that way. I changed my plans last minute and booked this one on AGODA. Never heard of OVOLO hotel but the location and the price suited me so I booked it as my usual picks were full. Overall experience was wonderful. This is probably one of the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in but this is one of the best nights in 40 years of travel. Upon check in, they great you with a smile and offer you a glass of wine! Then they tell you to relax in a sofa while doing the registration. After all is done a nice lady take you to the room which is unbelievably small but surprisingly warm and cozy and explains you how to handle all the gimmicks. Everything is design, ultra-modern and functional. Free wifi and this one is definitely a first FREE MINI BAR still wonder how they managed to insert a mini bar in a mini room. The second floor reception/lounge has drinks, snacks and fruit and it’s all free. I felt like in the first class lounge at the airport. I am not a big believer in spiritual things like “feng shui “ but if this exist they definitely used it in the OVOLO I felt like a strange calm and relaxing atmosphere in addition to the staff being extremely friendly. I have met thousands of hotel staff these ladies were especially nice, Again “Feng Shui” maybe? If you are a couple with two suitcases you will have a problem with this room seems they are all identical in this property, but if you are a solo traveler that just needs the hotel for the shower and the bed this is the best value for money in Hong Kong I will definitely be back.

It is hard to come across good deals on Hong Kong accommodation. Mingle at the Eden is a great option if you are looking for something a bit less expensive than most hotels in the city. The room my friend and I stayed in was larger than I expected, and very clean and nice. The location is outstanding because it is near Lan Kwai Fong, the Mid-Levels Escalators, and two metro stops. I would definitely stay here again.

- hotel front desk was great. help me with my heavy luggages when i was unloading from taxi. - flexible enough to allow me for early check-in at 11am. - however, room was much much smaller compared to the one that i have stayed with the same price. - small but nice & cosy room. - tv is small but bed is comfortable - mtr is like at least 6 to 8 mins away from shang wan. for those taking mtr, exit from a2. - for those going to airport, recommend to take a taxi (cost ard 60hkd, or s$10) to hk station (ifc mall). you can do a city check-in and they will send your luggages to the airport. thereafer, you can take a direct mtr express train to airport. if you use your octopus card, it is 100hkd for the train ride. however, if you are a couple, buy a couple tickets for only 160hkd from the hk station info counter (just before you check-in). - free & strong wifi
