"my boyfriend and i decided to book this place because it looked pretty cool and we’ve never stayed in something like this before. so i had pretty low expectations for sleeping in a pod. i would say i’m a little high maintenance and like my own space and hate sharing common areas, but this space pod was pretty good. the room was air conditioned well, the pod itself had some fans that could blow (very minimal air into the pod) it did help to use it as a white noise. bathroom had four stalls that had toilets and showers in each one. they were cleaned daily in the morning by a staff member. the bathrooms were not air conditioned so it was pretty hot when you went into that room. the place itself is also only stairs so keep that in mind as well. the location was great. close to haji lane which had cute restaurants, bars, and shops. some negative points i had though was that the bed in the pod was really hard. it was a super thin layer of mattress just on what felt like the floor. the pod itself was pretty noisey bc of the material it was made out of so it’s easy to hear your neighbors. there was also a light in the pod that doesn’t turn off on the fan that is pretty bright if you don’t take the key out of the power. but overall i liked the experience!! would i do it again? probably not unless i was a solo traveler. "Location: Not very near to MRT station as compared to other hotels in the area, but still within 10-15 minute of walking distance. The bus stop directly in front of the hotel is served by buses on out-bound routes. If you are heading to other parts of the Downtown, you have to walk to the opposite for in-bound buses. Surroundings- There is a 7-Eleven convenience store nearby. The areas around the hotels have lots of pubs, beerhouses and restaurants. Staff- Staff was very friendly. They will guide every guest through every single facilities available in the hotel. Bed- The pod is very wide to fit in a person and a backpack. A foldable table is included for things such as a laptop, and there is a reading light for added convenience. There is also a privacy screen at the entrance of the pod. However, when the room lights are dimmed at night, anyone from outside the bunk can see through the privacy screen if the reading light is switched on. Toilet- The toilets and bathrooms are unisex, and as there were only 3 bathrooms at my floor, there could be some queue at 'peak' hours. Food- The hotel provides buffet breakfast to all guests. Items available are limited (as compared to conventional hotels) but more than what was expected for hotels of the range. During my stay, whenever an item was finished, the hotel staff will replenish with new food items. Food items generally include bakery, pastry, Singaporean/Malaysian local delicacies, Chinese delicacies and sometimes some Western delicacies. Entertainment- The hotel has three enclosed private pods near the reception that come with a laptop and a telephone. The telephone can be used to make free local calls. SUMMARY- Overall I feel that the hotel is the best of its range, providing facilities that can outmatch a 3- or 4-star hotel at 2-star prices. The hotel was clean, comfortable, the staff very friendly and the hotel has facilities that greatly exceeded other hotels of its price range. "

"We have booked several hotels directly and through Agoda, but this one, Rendezvous, is the best among the hotels we booked. The location of Rendezvous is easy to find from Dhoby Ghaut Station, which is just a 5-minute walk. We arrived the hotel at 10am and when we checked in, the receptionist offered a promo of room upgrade, late check out, free breakfast for two, and free unlimited use of its club lounge with snacks, drinks and cocktails. At an affordable price, we took the promo offer. He gave us the key card after we checked in even if their check in time is at 2pm. The room is not small but big enough for a couple. It is complete with safety box, a fridge with snacks, nice beddings with pillows. The bathroom is organized, complete with toiletries (FCUK), and what I liked most is its heated toilet bowl with wash controls. We were given the privelege to use the Club Lounge at the 11th floor. The lounge has stocks of refillable snacks and fruits, canned sodas and brewed coffee. Wifi in the room and around the hotel is free and unlimited. Service staff are excellent. Very accommodating and always approachable. Right outside the hotel is a bus station. It is convenient to go to anywhere even to and from the airport. The MRT is convenient as well, it was never a problem to go to tourist spots in Singapore. We would definitely go back to Singapore maybe next year. And we will definitely check in again in Rendezvous. Two thumbs up to Rendezvous Grand Singapore. "

"HI, I had be staying in hotel Royal @ Queen a lot of time. From the moment you check in until you check out the service of the hotel is the best. They really there to help you and providing the best information to your question. The breakfast is nice too. Only 1 thing which during my very first time staying in this hotel's feedback to the hotel and until at this lastest stay ( 18 Jan 2016 ) that the hotel still never improve is having stay in this 4 star hotel they can't even provide 2 free mineral water to the room guests. The hotel must ALWAYS remember is small little refreshment will impact a great image of the hotel and happy of the guest whom travel 10 over hrs of flight to here ( singapore )which you can get 3 bottle NTUC mineral only cost 95 cents. A bit of cost but can bring back a lot guests to the hotel. please look into my suggestion. thank hope to see some changes when I am back to this hotel again,"

"I'm a frequent backpacker so I've stayed in a lot of backpacker hotels around the world. This was a good one i must say as its well equipped and clean. I've booked 1 double bed capsule & 1 single bed capsule for my trip. Double bed was spacious & clean for 2 person. Each capsule is comes with towel, bottle water, a small packet of snack, toothbrush & toothpaste inside the cabinet which most backpacker hotel don't provide. It also has a place to hang some clothes inside, a small cabinet to put your belongings, charging points, a small mirror which was really good and a passcode enable storage for your valuables. My booking also came with a free breakfast - cereal, toast & coffee at the balcony. Toilet has body & hair shampoo including hair dryer (thumbs up for female travelers) and clean. You will need to check in beside the building, NuVe hotel. Staff was friendly. And you can use the rooftop of NuVe hotel for free. Location was great. Overall, I enjoyed my stay! Will be back. "
