The location is superb! Exit A2 of the Sheung Wan MTR station is just 1 minute walk from the hotel. 7 Eleven is just few shops away in the same row with hotel. Tourist attractions like PMQ, Tai Kwun, Graham Street Art, Lan Kwai Fong, SOHO and Jenny Bakery (Sheung Wan branch) are within walkable distance from the hotel. We grabbed chances to try classical Hong Kong style breakfast in few restaurants nearby like Shui Kee Coffee (for ham egg instant noodles+ french toast + coffee) , Lan Fong Yuen (for pork chop macaroni + famous milk tea) , Maxim's Palace (for Dim Sum) and Sheng Kee Congee (for Fish Belly + Beef Conggee). Homy Hotel Central definitely is the best choice for travelers who are planning to depart to Macau by ferry. Ticket counter and ferry terminal which located at Shun Tak Centre is accessible by walking underground from exit A2 to exit D of Sheung Wan MTR station. Staffs are very helpful. The rooms we stayed are comfortable and cleaned daily.

This hotel is perfect for a business trip or sightseeing. If you come from / plan to go to Macau, it's less than 5 minutes from ferry terminal. Mtr is nearby and the central business district is within walking distance (around 15 minutes walk to Lan Kwai Fong). There is a free breakfast that is not fantastic (basics: toast, butter, jams, coffee, tea, pastries...) but is nice enough for a quick bite. The room is spacious and clean, good facilities, but the floor is ceramic, so beware if it puts you off. Good value for money. Overall my go-to hotel when in HK.

very satisfied with my stay and will definitely be back again. my room was upgraded by the hotelier Carol who is very polite and gave me much information about what I wanted to know around the area. the room was super clean, comfy and it had a park view. breakfast was okay and i'm satisfied. there are many convenient shops downstairs and manning is just across the street. walk to the right direction after you come out from Sheung Wan MRT station (use exit A). the building is painted blue and you won't miss it from far (unless you're in a position where it was covered by other tall buildings) if you're going to lan kwai fong, this hotel is a good choice since Central station is 1 station away from Sheung Wan.

I have stayed at Lan Kwai Fong Hotel three times, both on family and business trips, and I plan to book it in the future. It is a reasonably priced and service-minded place in a central location. (More than half of my meetings were within easy walking distance.) Although it is in the Central district, it is sheltered from heavy traffic and hectic crowds but close enough to walk to all main destinations, and to the Metro and airport express train stations. The antique shopping district begins immediately behind the hotel and there are plenty of restaurants and bars. (Despite the name, this hotel is not in "Lan Kwai Fung", which is a sort of Alcohol Alley about a ten-minute walk away). It takes about 15 minutes to wak to the airport express trains, taking Wellington Street to the pedestrian bridge and following it to an escalator in the IFC Mall. The train takes 25 minutes to or from the airport. One very nice feature of Lan Kwai Fong Hotel is a self-service lounge on the fourth floor, partly enclosed and partly open, with free coffee, tea and Wi-Fi. (Internet in the rooms is not free.) Pleasant place to work. I had some problems connecting to Wi-Fi in the lounge, which the staff tried to be helpful about, but with mixed results. Rooms are small, because it's Hong Kong. Each floor has one "mountain view" room, which is what you might get upgraded to, but in my opinion it's not worth paying extra as the rooms are the same size. If you have trouble walking on steep streets and sidewalks with steps in them, you will probably want to stay somewhere else, unfortunately. I recommend the French bistro in Pak Tsz Lane Park, which is in a hidden courtyard between Aberdeen, Gage, Peel and Hollywood.

My girlfriend & I stopped by to check out this brand new hotel in Sheung Wan, and were just BLOWN AWAY by how beautiful & comfortable it is! In the distance, the hotel looks like its made of crystal! Right at the entrance, there is a large colorful aquarium at the reception desk. They were feeding the fish, and my girlfriend jumped in shock when the fish started tearing apart the food! Turns out they were all piranhas! Yes, PIRANHAS! By far the most awesome aquarium we've seen! The lift was super smooth & fast, less than 10 seconds to get to 19/f! We opened the door to our room and were greeted by bright sunlight coming in from the huge windows. We were a little worried whether we would get any sleep, but turns out they have these amazing blackout curtains that completely blocked out all the light! The room had a large bathroom with Ferragamo amenities, a Bang & Olufsen bluetooth speaker, & Delonghi kettle and coffee machine! Best of all, they had the World Cup live on the TV! 10/10!

Ibis Hong Kong Central is ideal for travelers staying in Hong Kong on a budget. The hotel is located just a few minute walk to the Sheung Wan MTR station and Macau ferry terminal. The staff was very friendly and all speak english. It is a quick taxi ride to the night life of Lan Kwai Fong. Hotel gave us more complimentary water in the middle of the night. Will definately stay here again

We have been there for the second time already. Both times we felt the hotel as exemplary. From the lobby to the guest rooms everything is very nicely decorated and exudes luxury and comfort.The hotel is overall large. It has unobtrusiveness although it shows luxury. At the breakfast, lunch and dinner is a very large selection of dishes from east and west of the world available. Everything is fresh. In addition, the hotel still has in-house restaurants which present further more dishes on the highest culinary level. The entire staff works very well, even in situations of strain. Personal wishes are taken into account immediately. Taxis for the mobility of the guests are available immediately. Very good is the direct connection to the shopping mall Pacific Place, one of the best addresses for shopping in Hong Kong. The only disadvantage : There is no free Wifi in the hotel .This should be improved from the hotel in the future because already the most hotels in Hong Kong have free offer for Wifi. There is hardly any better place for a hotel stay in Hong Kong. A lot of the city attractions are nearby. Also the accounting process was carried out highly reliable from the hotel after we finished the stay.

this hotel's main point is the location. you can literally walk down the street and be in the middle of all the fun action in lan kwai fong. if you want to party in lan kwai fong, you want to stay here. besides that, you can easily get to ifc/central mtr station. it's just a short walk down the hill. the bed's a bit firm, but besides, that it's great for sleeping after a long day of fun in hk. the shower is really nice and pretty roomie. the sinks are small but manageable. the rooms look nice and feel bigger than they really are due to the interior desing. this hotel is a great value.

I stayed at JW for 2 nights in Hong Kong business trip. First, the location was very good. I could even walk to Lan Kwai Fung or Wan Chai...moreover connection with p.p and the admiralty station was also good The second, room condition was also good .. Staff was friendly and breakfast buffet was excellent. The dim sum was better than the Michelin 2 star restaurant I want to stay in JW again!

My family and I have stayed at Bishop Lei for the last 10 years. The location is unbeatable. It's a five-minute walk to the Mid-Level escalators and Central and Lan Kwai Fong (the hip entertainment area) are just down the hill. The harbour-facing rooms have a view worth much more than the price. The rooms are very small, especially the standard rooms facing Robinson Road. I've always considered that a fair trade off for the price and the location. If you want one of the best views in Hong Kong, go for the harbour-facing rooms. The restaurant is good. There are also a couple of great piazza restaurants on Mosque Road and if you walk up (to the right as exiting the hotel) there are a couple of grocery stores. Wi fi's free and good. There's also a free shuttle to and from the Airport Express Station and other locations.

This is rated the best hotel in Hong Kong and we saw why. Magnificent designer room (we had a harbour view 70) excellent service - sending us detail on good local restaurants before we arrived was wonderful. The hotel is pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. The views from the room were superb and nice touches like free mini bar (for everything except wine and spirits) and excellent espresso machine. We did not want to leave.

We stayed at 99 Bonham from 9 Jun - 12 Jun 2017. We like almost everything about the hotel. The staff was excellent. The location was excellent - about 5 mins away from Sheung Wan MTR and tram station. Easy walk to Lan Kwai Fong. The size of the hotel room was tremendous for Hong Kong Central area, with excellent fittings. Having a mobile 3G hotspot that you can bring along with you and all the free food and drinks at the mini-bar really make our day. I would strongly recommend this to any couple wanting to stay at Hong Kong side, near to all the action at SoHo and LKF.

YWCA it’s a nice Hotel, every time we go to Hong Kong we stay in YWCA. The location is good you’re middle in Central area. By taxi from Central MTR station or IFC mall only about 5 minutes and cost’s roughly 25 HK$. If you up to spend your evening in Lan Kwai Fong it’s only few minutes by taxi and cost’s less then 25 HK$, is quite convenient especially when you go back and you grabbed a bit to much or just right . Just don’t forget to buy you a water because in the Hotel is no complementary water. The rooms are quite big for Hong Kong circumstances. Staff is very friendly never had problem there.

You couldn't ask for much more - space, location and comfort. I normally stay in a 5 star Hotel in Wan Chai but I will be checking out The Putman first in future. It had everything you need in an apartment, it was great to get home after a long day and relax on the couch. Location wise you are only 2 minutes from the MTR, about 6 minutes away from SoHo and LKF. I am happy to recommend The Putman to anyone.

We booked a night stay at One96 during the new year eve when we flew into Hong Kong. There is only one unit on each floor so it gives you the privacy. The room is huge with a living room area, small adjacent kitchen, sleeping area and the toilet. The toilet however was disappointing as it was really small. The bed was soft and comfy so we had a good sleep. There is a open air roof top where guest could go up and have a view of the night lights. The view is a little block so you cannot see the fireworks. It's close proximity to alot of nice eateries around the area as well as lan kwai fang.

Staffs are quite friendly and helpful.. what i was impressed is there's a Hollywood lounge at level 3 in the hotel that provide snacks and beverages for free..even 5 stars hotel didn't provide such free flow beverages n snacks like madera hollywood.. if you are a party goers, than this place is suit for you.. easily access to bars and lan kwai fong, if you want to go to the mal, just turn left from the hotel and walk up to the bridge, then you'll connected to the malls.. the hotel is quite near with kau kee (the famous beef noodle in Hk).. i'm staying at madera for 3nights, the first night when i checked in, the Air conditioning is not functioning well, i called the reception and they said that the Air condition is the central aircon and they turned on the heater during winter.. but as in korean, winter is not really cold, so i felt so hot inside the room.. first night was almost give up and moved to another hotel, but surprisingly on the second night, the aircon went well and really cold and i like it.. overall, i really enjoyed my stayed at madera..

My trip was 1 more stay to Hong Kong because of the typhoon, which delayed my flight. I reserved City View but upgraded to Harbor View, and the staff were very kind and didn't say anything unnecessary. The sauna was small but clean, and the amenity quality was great. The amenity inside the room was a Bottega Veneta product. The Harvard view room was really the best. It is expensive room rate but minibar is not free, so I felt sorry. The indoor pool was rather small. Although the room view was good, I wonder if I will visit next time because the room rate is too high. But it was one of the best hotels I've ever used.

The main thing that impressed me the most with this hotel are their staff who were very attentive and accommodating to our needs especially the hotel manager William. We really appreciate all their help with our last minute requests even before we arrived and during the duration of our stay as well. The hotel is located very near Lan Kwai Fong which is very good for those who wants to go to bars at night, very near restaurants and some shopping areas. Their room is very cozy and comfortable, similar to 5star hotels, bathroom is quite big as well. What's also nice is the free use of wifi, free breakfast and best of all their free mini bar, replenished daily, comes with the rate. Overall, this hotel is excellent and i would highly recommend it if your're staying in Central, Hongkong.

It is hard to come across good deals on Hong Kong accommodation. Mingle at the Eden is a great option if you are looking for something a bit less expensive than most hotels in the city. The room my friend and I stayed in was larger than I expected, and very clean and nice. The location is outstanding because it is near Lan Kwai Fong, the Mid-Levels Escalators, and two metro stops. I would definitely stay here again.

a well known hotel that provides the best service they could...at our arrival,they showed us the hotel as well as a very beautiful piece of artwork(biggest piece of art in HK)... we spent our Xmas holiday in HK and the staff gave us a box of chocolate with a very sweet note...very tocuhed and surprised... the hotel is located near the central which is a food and shopping heaven... Good location, wonderful staff.... No regret...best choice in HK island

the best thing about this hotel is the service. the staff are very friendly, accommodating, and very efficient. it is located about 4-6mins away (by foot) from sheung wan mtr station and hkd20 cab ride away from lan kwai fong and soho. there are circle k outlets, a 711, and a welcome supermarket nearby. it is surrounded with coffee shops, bakeries, and restaurants as well. there's a bazaar near wing lok st. every sunday. the rooms are very clean and the hotel smells really good. i've been traveling to hong kong since i was a child and this year alone, i flew to hong kong 4 times and i have always stayed in kowloon hotels -- and sohotel made me feel that tsim sha tsui hotels are overrated. this may not be the biggest and most beautiful hotel i've stayed in but it sure is the best in terms of cleanliness and service. did i mention that there's free wifi internet service in every room and you can call as much local numbers you want -- for free?
