"Staff was friendly, and showed me around and to my room, gave very clear instructions. Bed is clean, spacious and comfortable. Air ventilation is good even with the blinds down, I have my own privacy. They provided towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, indoor Slippers, bottled water, drinking water in the kitchen, even the toilets are clean. They have individual shoe cupboards for you to put your shoes on before you enter the room. High speed WiFi connectivity throughout the hotel. Breakfast was good too, with fried rice, noodles, bread, fruits, coffee, tea, cereal. I don't mind paying this price for the comfort and privacy, though it's a bit on the pricey range for a capsule hotel if you're on a tight budget, but it's really worth the 5 stars. Location is right in the middle of tourist area, near Masjid Sultan, and walking distance to bugis and mrt station. "

"My partner and I decided on a whim to visit Singapore over CNY. We'd definitely stay at the Rendezvous again. Fast and easy processing during check-in/chek-out. Drop-off/pick-up area is round the back, while the entrance opens out to Bras Basah Rd. Minor hiccup: we requested for a late check-out, however on departure day our room card stopped functioning around noon (the card is required to use the lift). Notified reception and it was quickly fixed. We were given a room on the club floor with facilities. Well-designed and cosy, the room itself was small, amenities neatly hidden in the cupboards. Lighting and air-conditioning adjustable via bedside switchboard control. The compact bathroom and hi-tech toilet (Japanese-style, bidet comes with remote control - 4 switches) was impressive. Good view of Bras Basah Rd. from the window. Upon check-in we were offered an all-inclusive breakfast and drinks. Figured it was a good deal. But walking out of the hotel, up and down the street, food places were open anyway. Reasonable selection of dishes every morning: dim sum, roti and dahl, cold cuts and cheese, noodles and soup, pancakes, bacon, eggs, waffles, yoghurt, cereal, etc. The Courtyard is quite a sight with its high glass dome and hanging decor. Good place for a book and coffee. Very convenient location, right next door to The Cathay and just a short walk to Dhoby Ghaut station. About 10-15mins on foot to central Orchard or Raffles. Bus stop a few feet away from the entrance. Extremely private, hardly saw anyone on our floor though the rooms down the corridor were fully occupied. There were families with children and yet it was quiet on our floor. Lounge area looked empty or devoid of staff, we decided not breakfast there. Alcohol drinks are served downstairs in the lobby, at the bar next to reception. Gym and pool are both small. Recommended for business trips, short stays and individuals. "

"Been trying out countless of hotels in Singapore for staycations, as compared to other 5 star establishments, Hotel G is comparable in terms of comfort. Though it is a 4 star property and rooms are rather small, I do not have any major complains, rather I have good feedback to give. Staff: Jacob at the front desk was a man of few words, but he has a smile on all the time and he does his best to impress. He made my 2nd or 3rd (I don't remember) stay with Hotel G much better than my first when it was still named BIG hotel. Rooms: Toilet could be done cleaner and more spotless. As for the room/desk area, no complains as of now. Keep it up! Restaurant: With the introduction of Ginett (I don't know if I spelt that right) The restaurant has been a great addition to the establishment. Just that, breakfast selection feels lazy and bland, nothing special and could be improved. So much potential in the breakfast choices. Overall, there is so much room for improvement even though they are already doing well. Keep it up Jacob and the rest of the staff at Hotel G! "
