"The location was great -- very near the Central Station (where most MTR lines intersect, and where the Airport Express line is also connected). The staff were average, except when I was checking out and needed help finding out how to get to the Airport Express, wherein, their employee, Tom showed me great hospitality. I knew how to get to Airport Express on foot, because it was a mere 5-min walk away but with my huge luggage and the many stairs between the hotel and the train station, I thought I would need a taxi to get there (flagdown rate was HKD 20). So when I asked Tom how best to get to the train station, he literally carried my very heavy luggage bag (which contained all my belongings plus shopping loot) for me all the way to the station. I was so grateful!!! The room was clean and functional enough. PLUS the free smartphone which gave me unlimited internet access and unlimited local calls was VERY useful. I used it to navigate through HK and to search for nearby restaurants and sightseeing spots, so that I could conserve my personal phone's battery for picture-taking. I also used it to book for my dinner at a local restaurant (whereas other hotels (even the fancy ones like Renaissance Hotel) charge for each local phone call 8-10 HKD per call). I didn't like that they had only 6 channels on the TV, but then again, I'm only awake in the hotel for a few hours, so that's not such a big factor. The room was TINY compared to other hotels that I'm used to. But it was functional, and for a single traveler like me, it was just right, and had all the basic necessities I need (hot and cold tap and shower, fresh bath towels, electric kettle, hairdryer, TV, fresh beddings, comfy bed, toilet). I had a bit of trouble with the shower because it was difficult to find the right balance between hot and cold, but otherwise, everything went fine. Would definitely consider booking this hotel again next time I go to HK."

"Absolutely love the view I woke up to. The bed is parked right next to a few huge windows, and it overlooks the concrete jungle. Hotel room is very spacious comparing to other boutique hotels in Hong Kong. Plenty of lights in the day. Hotel provides shower gel, shampoo and mosturizer in a long tube, which makes it very easy to squeeze out, so that's one thing I find very considering. Location is great, short walk to SOHO and central. Overall, a very happy stay at iClub."

"the best thing about this hotel is the service. the staff are very friendly, accommodating, and very efficient. it is located about 4-6mins away (by foot) from sheung wan mtr station and hkd20 cab ride away from lan kwai fong and soho. there are circle k outlets, a 711, and a welcome supermarket nearby. it is surrounded with coffee shops, bakeries, and restaurants as well. there's a bazaar near wing lok st. every sunday. the rooms are very clean and the hotel smells really good. i've been traveling to hong kong since i was a child and this year alone, i flew to hong kong 4 times and i have always stayed in kowloon hotels -- and sohotel made me feel that tsim sha tsui hotels are overrated. this may not be the biggest and most beautiful hotel i've stayed in but it sure is the best in terms of cleanliness and service. did i mention that there's free wifi internet service in every room and you can call as much local numbers you want -- for free? "My wife amd I stayed here and thorouhly enjoyed the stay , from the beginning the young lady that checked us in was just a pleasure to talk to and was so friendly with a super smile she offered a early check in as the room was available > from there as we entered the room it was so fresh looking and smelled nice. The showers and ammentities were perfect in everyway we could not fault the room the Harbour view was perfect with a large window size to enjoy it. The bed was so comfy and we both slept beautifully the room was quiet with no noise noticed from other rooms. The location was the best with the tram a 1 minute walk and the MTR train was 5 minutes we found the tram was the best way to Central and everywhere. I could right a book as to how good this Hotel is > study it and check it out > we will stay again as it was the best choice for us eg Value, View , Location, Room size great and roomy. I would rate The IBIS Hotel a 10 stars if I could. "

"The location is superb! Exit A2 of the Sheung Wan MTR station is just 1 minute walk from the hotel. 7 Eleven is just few shops away in the same row with hotel. Tourist attractions like PMQ, Tai Kwun, Graham Street Art, Lan Kwai Fong, SOHO and Jenny Bakery (Sheung Wan branch) are within walkable distance from the hotel. We grabbed chances to try classical Hong Kong style breakfast in few restaurants nearby like Shui Kee Coffee (for ham egg instant noodles+ french toast + coffee) , Lan Fong Yuen (for pork chop macaroni + famous milk tea) , Maxim's Palace (for Dim Sum) and Sheng Kee Congee (for Fish Belly + Beef Conggee). Homy Hotel Central definitely is the best choice for travelers who are planning to depart to Macau by ferry. Ticket counter and ferry terminal which located at Shun Tak Centre is accessible by walking underground from exit A2 to exit D of Sheung Wan MTR station. Staffs are very helpful. The rooms we stayed are comfortable and cleaned daily."
