Little India hotels & places to stay

The room was large, had a bath tub, and was between Mustafa & City Square Malls, plus close to MRT. The room was large, but seemed slightly shabby, and few amenities are provided. But that's my opinion and not a complaint or warning. I did have a big problem with housekeeping. I had to go to the emergency room one night, and light the do not disturb indicator, as I needed sleep. In spite of the DND request, housekeeping called me at 7 p.m. and demanded that I let them clean the room. I told them that both of us were sick but they ignored that. When I told the housekeeper that I only wanted minimum service, he ignored me and started in on general cleaning, with my companion trying to sleep. I've never seen such an abuse of a DND request before. I won't downgrade my score, based only on that, but you should take it as a warning about what might happen to you, and how they find no problem in disturbing sick guests who had a DND light turned on. I should have just called the duty manager and asked him to get housekeeping to stop annoying us. The duty manager even sent me a letter asking me to call him, to make sure I was OK after the emergency room visit. I can't think of any reason to recommend Little India, and I would never stay there again. If you have to, or want to, stay in Little India, then I would certainly recommend the Park Royal. Except for that, all the employees were helpful and courteous.

Brand new facilities. It's the best hotel in the Farrer park area. This hotel will surely put those hotels around to deep shame. You don't feel like you are in little India within the hotel. The surrounding hotels around in little India and Farrer park are dated and probably noisy. This hotel has nice, alluring ambient scent. Great swimming pool with jacuzzi by the side. 24 hours spacious and new gym facilities. Room is a tad too small with a King bed. Bay window to tall ceiling. Double glazed window with great sound insulation from the noise outside! Love it. Huge LED screen in room with smart tv and remote control for the room facilities. Free wifi connection although there were moments the connection dropped and was stucked.Bathroom is wheelchair friendly but also makes it a design flaw with water splashing and spilling all over the bathroom. Toilet seat has a bidet wash seat, doing away from the regular bidet but is already showing signs of wear and tear. Bathroom lacked ventilation fan which resulted in moulding at the bathroom ceiling. Free minibar Pringles nuts and gummies with illy coffee machine and twg tea. Room has motorized sensor roller blind for complete blackout for a good night sleep. Room is quiet with no disturbing ambient noise - unlike other hotels. Staff were generally friendly and respectful and service prompt. Breakfast spread is reasonable in its selection and presentation of the buffet is classy. Love the yoghurt and the juices selection. The sunny side up prepared by the girls on duty were 5 star! Coffee prepared in bodum French press. Overall 4.8 stars for me. Highly recommended hotel.

Although I had booked a King, I got 2 King Singles. Staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was well maintained all throughout my stay and the housekeeping staff were very friendly. Well situated in Little India, not far from the Mustafa Centre, all the little stores, offering everything from clothes to electronics and all the great little Indian cafes and restaurants. Also close to the MRT for easy access to the city, surrounds and all the attractions. Would definitely stay there again.

We were a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Hotel is very conveniently located in Little India and close to Farrer park MRT. Lot of restaurants close by as well as Mustafa shopping center. Rooms are a little small but value for money for a tourist who would spend more time touring then in the hotel. Air conditioning works well. Bathroom is small, but manageable. Geyser had a problem once and was quickly addressed. Fresh towels are given each day as well as 2 drinking water bottles. Fast wifi available. However, you need to collect new passwords from lobby once in 2 days. Very friendly and helpful staff. A definite value for money for budget travellers.

Arrived about 1am. Unfortunately I had to pay for an extra night because of early check-in, but then I should have known this. Otherwise this was a very nice hotel, clean, friendly and helpful service and a great location in Little India. Close to great food choices 'round and about and a very interesting district in Singapore. Close to the Little India MRT station for inexpensive and easy access to other parts of Downtown Singapore. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again without thinking twice! Booking with Agoda was a breeze and the price was right. No complaints!

no doubt the hotel is perfect value for money especially for Indians as its located right in the middle of Little India with good Indian hotels and a very near MRT station. i booked the hotel for 2 adult 1 child but the room was so small even for 2 adults and the bed (queen bed as they claim) can barely accommodate 2 adults so imagine my child... wifi strength was average... if u look for a decently located hotel at a low price in Little India then Broadway hotel is a right fit but if u expect big comforts search further....

This hotel is in an excellent location just a few minutes walk from two different MRT stations. It makes getting to the airport on the mrt very easy and cheap. There are plenty of places to eat nearby as well as shops to buy drinks and snacks. It is a quick walk to Bugis street, Arab street and little India. The room I a reasonable size with good storage. The bed is clean and comfortable. The bathroom has a good shower with plentiful hot water. Shower gel and shampoo are provided. There is also a fridge in the room as well as a kettle and tea and coffee. Two bottles of water are provided each day. The air conditioning is efficient. The bonus for us was the complimentary breakfast on the rooftop. There were three options and we loved the steamed buns and egg option washed down with tea and coffee. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We will be back. Thankyou for a great stay.

Me and my girlfriend stayed in Hotel 165 for 6days/5nights. If you're looking for a budget hotel with clean facilities and privacy, this is the best hotel for you! Staff can speak English well and very accommodating. The Deluxe room was good enough for the 2 of us. The hot/cold shower and flush were working perfectly. They provided bottled water for every guest, clean towels, and cleaned our room everyday. The location is just a few steps away from Farrer Park MRT and Sri Perumal Bus Stations. The 24-hour Mustafa Center, Money Changer, and Chinese/Indian Restaurants are also very near so you won't get hungry even when late at night. If you have Asian food cravings, the Food Republic food court can alse be found at the City Center Mall across the street. The location is also just a few MRT stations from key places such as Bugis junction, Chinatown, Little India, Clarke Quay and Bayfront so you don't spend too much time commuting. The only suggestion i have is i hope that guests could control the air-conditioning because when we first came (a Monday), it was a bit hot. Then when the long weekend came, the central A/C became colder. I assume that they tend to increase the A/C when there are more guests, but it'd be better if we can control our temp preferences. Nevertheless, our stay was PERFECT! We will definitely recommend this place to other tourists and we'll surely book this hotel again when we go back to Singapore! :)

The hotel is located in Little India, near Bugis MRT station (EW/Green Line) and Little India MRT station (NE/Purple Line), great location for tourists because it is near the shopping malls, USS, Sentosa, Marina Bay Sands, etc. The breakfast buffet and free cocktails are great. The wifi is decent. The room is clean but very small. All in all, the room and hotel amenities are worth the price. I had a very comfortable stay in Moon hotel. However, I only recommend this hotel for solo traveller/couples who are going to stay for not more than 5 days. If you have a big luggage, it's quite hard to find space for your things.

We stayed for 8 days and found it very convenient for our outings. Being very close to Rochor MRT and bus stand with other MRTs like Little India and Bugis within walking distance its very easily accessible even late at night. Another MRT is coming up nearby. We could carry all our luggage back to the airport via MRT saving big time on taxi fares because of the hotel's proximity to the MRT. We could avoid Taxi even for the Night Safari, using MRT instead. Surprisingly it doesn't get noisy inside the room even though the Hotel is situated at a busy cross road. Loads of eating options nearby, some outlets open for 24hrs which makes it very easy to go by your own schedule. The staff is efficient and courteous. The triple room is good enough for a family of 3, the double is good for couples but with the smoked glass wall for the washroom its a little uncomfortable if friends put up together. A very good option for budget travelers. Its kind of at the gateway of Little India.

We enjoyed our stay at the Park 22 hotel in Little India. The location is great, and the main reason we chose the hotel. There are plenty of reasonably priced food options in the area, which is very welcome in an expensive location like Singapore. The MRT station is very close to the hotel, which makes getting to all the main areas that you would want to visit very easy. If you get a room at the front of the hotel, be aware that it is very noisy at night and very early in the morning. Not great for a light sleeper.

it was a pleasent stay at arianna hotel. the room is rather small. if you are travelling in a family of 3 kids, you may want to book 2 rooms. it is cheap, very clean and best of all they provide free wifi. location wise is strategic for shoppers as mustafa centre is right opposite. if you are driving, they do not provide parking space, so you have to use coupon parking. parking is quite easy to find. plenty of food outlets available within walking distance. easily accessible. nearest mrt station (ferrer park, if i'm not mistaken and little india is about 10 min walk. about 5 min drive to arab street and bugis street as well as masjid sultan. 10-15 min drive to orchard road and geylang.

We (me and my spouse) reached the room around 11 am. Check-in time was 2pm. But I had requested for early check-in and they promptly allowed us to check-in to my room. A kettle, hair dryer, packaged drinking water (two 500ml bottles), coffee sachets, and tea bags were provided in the room. Hotel is located in Little India near Mustafa centre. There are many Indian hotels within walking distance which was a plus for us. Room was clean and neatly arranged. Room was spacious for the price. Only negative thing I felt was that the towels were not clean enough. (I found some yellow color stain on the towel which was possibly washed but the stain remained)

The hostel although seems to be out of the center is in a very good location because it is 5minute walk from the mrt which means you can get everywhere in Singapore on the very good tube network. Also being in little India there are lots of cheap food options and street food so you can also eat like a king. The hostel itself is very nice. Although still bunk beds they are more substantial and you do feel like your in your own space. There are also good facilities, in each bunk there is a plug and a light, also the breakfast is good although very busy. you have an option of toast or cereal, tea and (terrible packet) coffee and milk! My only criticism is that they made it hard for me to extend my stay because I had to book again on Agoda and therefore meant a room change which was annoying and inconvenient. Shower 8/10 Wifi 6/10 (although good in common areas it wasn't so good in my room)

I would definitely recommend booking to stay here, having been to Singapore many times on business and normally staying in the CBD area this was a welcomed change. The hotel is clean, the rooms are small but for a city break that shouldn't be an issue. The location is excellent with the Rochar MRT less than 5 minutes walk and Little India Station less than 10. Perfectly located for Visiting Marina Bay Sands, Garden on the Bay and also Santosa Island or Bugis. The only negative to this hotel was that from my room on the 3rd floor I could hear load music playing from a bar outside until 3am. This didn't stop me sleeping and I would still chose to stay here again when taking everything else into consideration. I booked room only and would recommend doing this, there is a hawker stall just behind the hotel and there are loads of amazing places for brunch around Singapore. A good choice for budget hotel in Singapore.

Is good overall and will come back to stay if we ever visit Singapore again. Hotel is located 5mins walk from little India MRT, there is one 7-11 and some grocery shops nearby Room is small but cozy not much space for luggage, shower is good but no divider so expect toilet to be wet after shower I got woken up by door closing sound from the other rooms , a little minus point for that

This place is near two malls - City Square (if I remember it correctly) and the well known Mustafa Mall. It is 7-10 minute walk to Farrer Station nd since this is located in Little India population there are more on Indian Singapore locals. Hotel room is spacious but we had some problem with our cable tv. Everything is provided though which is good except for slippers which is okay since we brought slippers as well. Staff is really friendly that since we were having problem with our tv he left us the key to another room so we can transfer there anytime we want to but ended up staying in the room. They have a strong hot nd cold shower there. Overall my stay is good. Thanks for the one day accommodation before our scheduled cruise the next day.

we stayed for one night only in 6 bedded room. was ok for one night. AC was perfect.it was quiet. best part is it's location in little india. its at one of the bus stops. it has its own shop also. you can buy water, chocolates, biscuits, beer, bread etc from there. owner Sebastian was very helpful. overall, it's an economical option having best location especially for those who love Indian food.

I have booked a "Superior Double" Room and i have listed the facilities i liked and dint like. Facilities i dint like ***************** Toilet was very small and not comfort for using it. Free Wi-Fi bandwidth is less. There is no Lift facility. Very small Room Facilities i like ************* Jalan Besar MRT is straight opposite to the Hotel Indian Food restaurant "ABC Nasi Kandar" is very next to the Hotel Little India and Bugis Street is very near and can reach there in 10 min walk

If you come from Changi. It wiil be better change MRT from EXPO take greenlines to Bugis exchange to DW lines to Little india then change NE lines to Farrer Park exit G/ City Square Mall a bit long journey but you will take a short walk to 7 Wonders Hostel via back door, only 10 min walk then you get jalan besar Sta too far. The bedroom clean but the room too small. The toilet a bit dirty coz of some ppl do not Flush properly. I think that he/ she has no manner. Its digusting. Provide light breakfast. Those are toast with jam, peanut butter, butter. Tea & coffee, milk & cornflake also 2 types of fruits watermelon & oranges. The staff are friendly. Elevator, hair dryer also iron.

I was very pleased by the staff Mr.Maichel.Great energy & very detailed to make guests comfortable. The room is clean & good. WiFi is not strong in room but the lobby area is having strong WiFi. Great lobby area with breakfast area. Breakfast is simple but great.Fresh orange juice made me very happy. This is the best hotel in Little India area. Only 100 meters away Rocher station,350 meters from Jalandhar Baser station & 500 meters from Little India station.From Changi airport you can take direct train to Jalan Baser only 30 minutes. Value for money.

Thank you, especially for guest receptionist, Shasha... Who welcome us and spoke Bahasa. We are group with 2 young children and elderly person. We stay in Peace room where 6 bank beds and en-suite bath room inside. The room is neat, simple and still fit for a Group. The bathroom is also clean and the shower worked proper. Even we took shower late at night, the hot water still came out. Surrounding in little india area, doesnt mean the hotel near from Little India MRT Station. Its so close with Rochor and Jalan Besar MRT Station. And there were so many resto around. Because near to Masjid Abdul Ghafur, so there were so many halal food. Overall... Its best Hostel we've ever tried. Come again someday? Absolutely....

1. Traveller's Hostel is the LOWEST priced rooms on TripAdviser/Agoda. 2. AiR CONDITIONER from 7pm-1Oam. 3. 3 SHOWERs, 3 TOILETS per floor. 4. BREAKFAST: tea, peanut butter, jelly, butter, Nutella. 5. Good WIFI: in rooms, never drops. 6. LOUNGE w/Air Cond 24/7. 7. Little India: BUS LINE, Farrer Park MRT in a nice mall. - Bathrooms should be cleaned 2x a day, not 1x. - Bathrooms don't have window screens so there are gnats on the bathroom wall. Gnats are innocuous This is the cheapest hostel. I stayed here 3 times so I'm happy with this place.
