We had one week vacation at Meeru in May. It was a very nice experience. We were picked up quickly from the airport after arrival. The speedboat ride was very smooth with A/C. As soon as we reached the island, we were greeted by the sweet reception team with traditional drums. The staff member, Mr. Musaidh checked us in. Truly, he was very patient and supportive, helping us with everything! The lay out of our water villa was perfect. The view was so beautiful. It was also very comfortable! Definitely, we loved our room! Special thanks to the House keeping supervisor Era. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was super comfy and satisfying! Her team was amazing! For excursions, we tried Kayaking and the sunset cruise. Both were fantastic. Halfway through our one hour kayaking experience, the weather changed becoming very windy and it started to rain. Therefore, we ended early and returned quickly to shore. However the staff at water sports told us we can have half hour credit for the next time due to the weather condition. We did not expect that. It was very kind of them! During our sunset cruise, we saw many very playful and cute dolphins. For sure, it was a fun trip! Thanks to the crew on board. They worked hard to ensure we came across dolphins, so that everyone on board would enjoy the experience. We also had a 20 minute complimentary photo shoot with the photographer Ayaan. Just to be clear, we are not photogenic, but we were very happy with the results and were able to many nice photos! Ayaan really did a great job. Must try the photoshoot if you stay at Meeru! The Maalan restaurant staff were well trained. They were friendly and helpful. The sous-chef Upul along with all of the chefs who worked in the restaurant, they looked after us so well, checked on us every day. We felt like a family. The food at Meeru was fabulous! Every meal was quite different, so you won’t be tired. Always so delicious, fresh and a lot of choices! The executive Chef Marco (originally from Venice, Italy) really leads the team well. He and his team are truly outstanding! Only downside for us was snorkelling. It was just okay. Overall, we recommend this island. It offers many good points that compel us to want to return!

Wanted to do something special for my 60th birthday. Maldives was a bucket list trip that did not disappoint. We travelled in mid-August. The weather did not cooperate but it was still a fabulous vacation. The soft white sand beaches are even better than you can imagine. We stayed in the 700 overwater bungalows. Room was very comfortable with access to the lagoon, jacuzzi, wi-fi and spectacular views. The staff cleaned our room multiple times during the day and supplied us with fresh towels. We were on the full board plan which allowed us access to the buffet restaurants. The food was delicious with plenty of variety for all tastes. We ate at the asian, and italian specialty restaurants. Good food but for the price I would have just as well eaten at the buffet restaurant. Drinks are pricey ($15 for most cocktails) so if you are a big drinker you may want to consider the all-inclusive plan. The weather didn't allow us to do many activities but we were able to do plenty of snorkeling right off the shore and explore the many fish, rays and turtles close to shore. Would definitely go back.

My recent stay at meeru resort was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, We were enveloped in the warmth and hospitality that the Maldives is renowned for. Waking up to panoramic views of the turquoise lagoon and having direct access to the water was an unforgettable experience. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed with basic amenities like shampoo and shower bath. However, quite surprise they don't provide toothbrush & toothpaste. The dining options were diverse and delicious. Each meal was a culinary delight, local Maldivian specialties, and a variety of international cuisines. Addition charges for drinks, beers n wine. Plain water provided only. Snorkeling and diving in the vibrant coral reefs were highlights of the trip, offering encounters with an array of marine life. The water sports center provided everything. We were so lucky to spot wild dolphin, baby shark, Ray and exotic fishes. Free yoga lesson in a week, check out and book in advance. The staff : mustafa (if i remember correctly)were outstanding. Their attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and willingness to go above and beyond made our stay truly special. Meeru resort exceeded all our expectations and provided an idyllic escape. Meeru Island is the best resort we have stayed at it will forever be a unforgettable experience not only for me but also for my family we made the most treasured memories in this island if you have a family and want to make memories Meeru island is the place for you, The rooms are amazing with the most wonderful views I have ever seen, the beds are very comfy and cozy, the room has a lot of accommodations for you to enjoy and has a TV to keep you entertained they provide you with some snacks and drinks and will refill them everyday, it also has a phone which you can use if you have any request or questions that you could ask the reception they also provide you with lots of towels to keep yourself dry after swimming or after taking a bath, they also clean your room everyday to keep it neat and clean and provides you with towels so you don't run out. I think there service is the best service I have received, They have the best staffs i have ever seen they have been so nice and makes you feel comfortable and they have such a welcoming spirit which always lightened my mood everyday they are always smiling which made me smile i would like to give a special thanks to the people who served me, Mr. Hussain he was such a lovely energy to have around, always was there to serve us and was always smiling and happy when we wanted to ask a question he would answer them he was a really good butler, next is Ms. Jesusa she was the same race as my family so we instantly all had a connection to her she was very kind, welcoming and friendly she was a very nice butler. we had a amazing time because of the kindness and positive attitude of all the staff. the staff were excellent alone but the food that they served in the buffet, restaurants and bars in Meeru was delicious in the buffet there were many kinds of food what i love about it is that Meeru had a diversity of different cultures in their food everyday there were different themes of food representing other countries so everyday

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Meeru Island Resort. 6 nights Beach Villa and 6 nights Overwater Villa. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming. atmosphere. Accommodations: The Room and Villa we had were spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The comfortable bed ensured a restful night’s sleep, and the sea views from the overwater deck and room were breathtaking. Amenities: The resort got 2 pools and a fully equipped fitness centre. I enjoyed relaxing by the pool, enjoying views of the sea. The friendly staff provided excellent service, making my stay even more enjoyable. Crystal clear turquoise blue water white beaches, wow… Buffet Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner: An impressive selection seemingly endless selection. Whether you’re craving Indian, Asian, Mexican, Italian cuisine, or Continental European, etc. they’ve got it all. The buffet caters to every palate, making it a perfect choice for everyone. Quality and Taste: We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality. The Flavors were authentic, and the dishes were well-prepared and presented. Friendly Service: The staff at both buffet restaurants were attentive and friendly. They ensured that our dining experience was enjoyable, and we appreciated their helpfulness. A special thanks Udayanga from the buffet restaurant for the best Omelettes and pasta dishes in the world. Overall Experience: Our stay at Meeru Island Resort exceeded our expectations. The combination of comfort, amenities, and exceptional service made it a memorable experience. We highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting the Maldives. 10/10
