Location of the place is great! There is a bus stop right outside the Inn, walkable to many nearby eateries. Inn also provides a shuttle bus to Epic Universe or Universal walk in the morning, and a return shuttle at night. Staff were subpar, don't seem to be too interested in attending to guests, both the concierge and reception. When asking about public transport options, the dude at the concierge just threw me a pamphlet and asked me to read through myself, said he don't know anything about it. But shout out to one of the ladies working the night shift, who was really helpful when i encountered an issue with the washing machine. Room was clean, spacious and well-furnished, but the rollers chairs look like they could use a deep clean with random stains on them. Toilet was okay as well. Overall would recommend for a budget, no frills place to stay near the theme parks, but don't expect top-notch service here!
The room was big have everything the pool too big the location is good in the Main Street near the fast food and public transportation There is no daily cleaning even though they write every 3 days we stayed 5 days with no cleaning only change the towels and basket , there is only shuttle free to universal no shuttle to Disney the stuff not friendly at all we arrived at 2 pm after long flight they said to us it’s to early to check in !!!! We checked in at 3:15 which is so rude we asked for a plug for the charger as in our country is different they refused to help the housekeeping didn’t do anything to us even didn’t give cups or anything not the best experience with the less money in the same street there is a better options
The hotel has great security, including a guard gate. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel has a great breakfast buffet. Offers a shuttle bus to Universal. But not to HHN. But only a few minute walk to Universal Surfside that has courtesy busses running every fifteen minutes, so we took one of those back and four. The only thing the Rosen Inn was lacking was hospitality at the front desk. The front desk staff never greets you with a welcome, or a hello. When you walk up to the front desk or walk past the front desk. They just never acknowledge your presence. Other than that the hotel was fine.
I’ve spent a lot of nights at this hotel over the past six months, often four nights a week for work, and I won’t be booking here again. The only consistent positive has been its location — right on International Drive with easy access to restaurants and attractions. Beyond that, the rooms are dated, the mattresses sag, and the lighting gives the place a worn, gloomy feel. The staff at the desk are polite enough, but there’s no recognition or appreciation for loyal, repeat guests. What finally pushed me to stop staying here was the new $10-per-night parking fee that appeared in August. It wasn’t mentioned until I checked in, despite my reservation being fully paid days in advance. The lot is huge and rarely even close to full, so the fee feels unnecessary and designed to squeeze more out of guests. The property is older and we totally pass on the underwhelming pool. Didn't like that they charge you $10 extra for parking when no one stays there without needing parking and there's no scarcity of parking. But the location is excellent. It was clean although the carpet was so old and dark I personally would not have laid on it. The water pressure in the shower was good. And....they have a shuttle to Universal. That sold us.

I stayed 3 nights this time and had a great time. The room was big, clean, quiet and had everything you need. Fridge, microwave and coffee machine. I made use of the shuttle bus to the Universal parks, including Epic. The drivers were very friendly. Highly recommend for solo travellers. Very safe hotel, security was everywhere.
A nice, clean hotel conveniently located near Universal CityWalk — (about a 20-minute walk or a 5-minutes drive). The AC worked perfectly, towels were changed daily, and the staff was friendly and attentive. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafés nearby.

I have annual passes to Universal, so I go to Orlando often. Because I only am at a hotel to sleep, I prefer to not spend money on a pricey hotel. I look for hotels that are clean and inexpensive in a good area, and this Rosen Inn checks all those boxes. Parking is free (and gated with an guard) and they even let me keep my car there after I checked out so I could go to Universal with my family in one car. The staff is friendly and there’s food on the premises. I’d definitely recommend here if you’re looking for a good place to stay that won’t break the bank.
Out of all the hotels I have stayed at recently this is the very best one. It is clean. Although I will clean anyway. The room smelled nice. The front desk was friendly. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The price was wonderful. Excellent for the price. And I have been to more expensive hotels that are not as nice. This will be my go to spot providing of course I can get a great deal. It will be worth it. Plus they have the restaurants I like but I hadn’t had a chance to try them. Next time. The room and service are the most important to me.

Very friendly staff; great breakfast. The room was clean & spacious - if a little outdated. Only 20min walk to Universal CityWalk, and free shuttle to the parks as well. Would definitely stay here again if I return.
We love staying here when we come to Orlando. It’s a great, clean, affordable option when wanting to visit Universal. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
This is a basic hotel room that is suited to people wanting to visit Universal Studios. The room is spacious and the beds are comfortable, but the bathroom is small. The place feels a little old and semi run down, but it was much cheaper than other options nearby, so I'd recommend it if you want somewhere simple to stay. It is a 5-10min Lyft/Uber to the Universal drop off. I couldn't work out how to walk to the parks, but maps said it would take 35-40mins. There was a problem with the credit card machine, when they tried to swipe my card to keep on file for incidentals, it didn't work. So they made me pay a $50 deposit for security, that I still haven't received back yet, but it has been less than 7 days.
Very clean. Try to get a room in the big tower. 8 stories rather than the old little 3 story. Saw some not so decent looking folks staying in those rooms. What I like the most staying in the 9 story tower was. Wifey and I didn't really smell any pot. Which is extremely hard to come by nowadays staying at a hotel.
There are several Rosen Inns not far from each other. This one is right on International and has a Shogun Japanese restaurant attached to it. There are plenty of chain restaurants all around the hotel though like IHOP, Denny’s, McDonald’s, etc. The hotel is a little dated, but it was clean and comfortable. Staff was great at getting us checked in right away. There is a security guard/ gate at the driveway into the hotel/Shogun. They don’t really check for anything, but it made us feel safe since our room was in the building next to the security gate/guard. Our 2nd floor room was on the pool side, but not a lot of kids at the hotel while we were there so it was quiet. Overall, it was a good stay. We were just there to meet a friend for dinner, but the hotel is in a good location for Universal with lots of souvenir shops, restaurants and a CVS convenience store nearby. So if you’re not looking for anything fancy and want a place that is close to everything, clean and comfortable, for a great price, this hotel is perfect!
Booked this for weekend with mom. It was cheap and with this hotel unfortunately you get what you pay for. TV didn’t work in room. Signal was weak and every day different channels would show up. Told front desk they said they would send up a tv engineer to look into issue. No one ever came to the room. The bathroom in room was so small that you literally had to go in sideways and barely any room to step up into shower. Ate the breakfast buffet one day at hotel and it was pretty good. Cost $17.95 with tax. Basic stuff like pancakes, eggs, French toast sticks, fruit, toast, bagels I would only recommend this hotel if you are looking for a cheap no frills experience
It was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant had great fresh sushi. Pool area was nice. Close many places to eat and shop. Only thing off was the TV. There was no guide and it took time for the channels to load.
I like staying here. The rooms are large and clean. It’s mostly quiet. I have stayed at other hotels on the strip and on this end this is one of the best. I will continue to stay here when I have to come in town for work.
We booked through Agoda and got a major discounted price. I was a bit hesitant due to the price but we were pleasantly surprised. It’s in a great location. We could see volcano bay from our hotel. They have restaurants in the hotel. We did not. Try them but they smell amazing! Staff was friendly and helpful when we needed them. The pool was fun for my little one: only complaint I would have would be the ac didn’t seem to stay cooling. I woke up both nights hot even though it was set on 67 high and constant fan. I can see myself booking there again.
We saw little roaches around the bathroom and that was not nice. The daily service was good, they changed the towels and made up the bed. The overall cleaning looks poor. Location is great, room has all you need. There was a payment misunderstanding because the employee wanted to charge us again, but after another employee helped it was fine, staff is not all prepared for online booking. Complimentary bus to Universal is very nice. I would stay there again

Outdated everything. Needs a facelift or some carpet steam cleaning. First two rooms they put us in one was very smelly and another the light didn't work. The room we ended up in still had a slight smell and you can tell it's coming from the very very old carpet. Get new carpets or do a steam cleaning and this will improve the experience much better.
All of the Rosen hotels I have stayed in on I Drive have been great, this one was by far a better on. I was in the main tower and it was super nice, rooms are clean and big and you can see the park out the window!

Very nice people but the place is old. Mouse poop in bathroom, outlets between beds didn’t work, German cockroaches by the mini fridge and had 2 large palmetto bugs by the TV. Breakfast Buffett was $30 for two but was nothing to write home about. No free coffee in lobby.

We booked this place for two nights just to sleep. The front desk staff was extremely unfriendly. They only told us that our room was in an “outside building” but gave no directions on where to go. We ended up wandering around with our suitcases, completely lost. When we finally entered the room, we were overwhelmed by a strong, old, musty smell that made it hard to breathe. Even though we had booked two nights and the reservation was non-refundable, we couldn’t stay there any longer and moved to another hotel. It was an expensive lesson learned.
Good enough for the price, and they offer a shuttle to the Universal parks free charge which is great.
My stay here was okay, but the price really didn’t match the value. The hotel feels outdated, from the rooms to the overall look of the place. It was clean enough, but everything just seemed old and a little worn down. For what I paid, I expected a lot more. I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless the rates were lower.

My family have stayed at Rosen plenty of times but out of 3 locations this one is by far the worst, the bathroom area is tiny compared to other locations, it’s a little confusing to get here just because of how it’s set up outside and on top of that we’ve never had to pay for parking at other locations and there was no mention of having to pay for parking so that was a bit upsetting as well. I personally will not be back at this location but would go to other Rosen’s locations if possible!

Prima uitval basis voor de activiteiten die je planned. De Iride (trolleybusje over de gehele international drive) stopt voor de deur net als de Lynx (stadsbus) genoeg eettentjes, supermarkt en giftshops op loopafstand. Enige nadeel is dat het zwembad wel heel erg klein is voor zo`n groot hotel.
