The Powderhorn Chateau was a delightful surprise. The Hotel is in a Beautiful Setting, very close to the quaint "old" part of Ohakune by the railway and at the foot of the road to the mountain. After a long hot day driving, it was great to check-in quickly and relax in the garden area with a cool drink from the bar.
