Alberta Province hotels & accommodations

Banff Rocky Mountain Resort is located just outside of town on the main road from the highway, so it's not anywhere near all the restaurants and bars downtown, but it does provide a hourly shuttle service if you don't want to drive. Our room with two comfy queen beds was nice and food at their little restaurant was really good. We stayed there on the Family Day weekend...

We booked this based on great reviews. We were not disappointed. Very clean, great breakfast, and modern interior (which I would not have guessed from the outside). We paid for the underground parking ($10/day) since there was only one entrance into the hotel from the outside and we wanted elevator access from the parking area. Service was great.

Had a great stay at this hotel... very comfortable and very conveniently located for our early morning flight the next day. Had a nice quiet indoor heated pool away from the loudness of the water park with water slides... though they were also fun for a try! Being the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend we were directed to their dining room for dinner for an optional turk...

I have booked with Deluxe One-Bedroom Apartment 2 Queens, the apartment is huge and nice. We can cooked our breakfast & dinner in the room, but you still have to bring your own seasoning & oil, the car can be parked right in front of the room which is huge convenience to us. The hot tube is great with nice view, although the location is a bit far from the town, the hot...

Terrific hotel. The room was a little small but comfortable and clean. The property is immaculate and the hot tub grotto was not to be missed. Parking underground felt safe. Chili's restaurant is on-site and a complimentary continental breakfast was included. It is a leisurely 10 minute walk to the town center. The bus runs right by the hotel and your room key gets ...

I was only there for one night. I had interactions with two front desk people and one cleaning lady. They were all friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean. Breakfast was buffet style. It was good, with a good variety of food/beverage choices. It is close to the airport but you don't hear any planes overhead. Shuttle service to the airport is very good...

This is quite an expensive hotel and is not near the city center, BUT they have good facilities and is definitely worth it. You'll have a good night sleep after a long day. However, we never were contacted about the powerbank and cord charger that we left in our room. We checked out early but had a good 30 mins left in the lobby but we're not informed of the lost item....

I was super impressed by how nice and modern our studio was. It had everything my family needed. It was a pleasure to stay there. Except, my kids are allergic to dogs and I definitely found dog hair on the carpet part of the bedroom which I started looking for when they started scratching like mad. I dont think a dog was registered for the room so it may have been a fr...

It was an alright hotel. The staff was very polite and helpful, and answered all questions to the best of their abilities. The lobby was wonderful, with a gorgeous skylight that I admired on all occasions. Hotel room was okay. Firm beds, soft pillows, slightly stained sheets (a couple black spots on the sheets), small bathroom, good shower head. Nice balcony. Pool was ...

My partner and I stopped here for 3 nights before heading on to the Rockies. We arrived in the evening, check in was easy and quick. The rooms was clean. Comfortable bed. Fridge, cooker, coffee machine. There is a grocery store across the road. Starbucks on the corner. It was within walking distance to everything. A short walk to downtown Calgary and 17th Avenue. There...

This was the 3rd hotel that we stopped at during our 2 week tour of Alberta & BC, the hotel was not that bad, but the issue we had was with other customers in the room above on the 3rd floor being very noisy and keeping us awake until gone 2.30am we did at 12.30am ring the front desk, but the lady could not get the room above us to stay quite, at one point I was going ...

Excellent . We had a wedding and booked this hotel for many of our guests from different parts of the world. The rooms were huge and kitchenette was well equipped. The beds were comfortable lighting was bright . Every day the menu for free hot breakfast was changed and there was a very wide choice of eggs sausages bacon potatoes etc lots of different breads and bakery ...

Very clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Excellent hot continental breakfast - beast sausage and scrambled eggs I’ve had in a restaurant! Only reason I didn’t give all “5 stars” is because there is no restaurant near by however, hotel offers shuttle service to a variety of retauatants. This service was wonderful. “Bob” our shuttle driver was wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful, providing me with a road map to find Boston Pizza and being quick to send and receive unexpected business faxes. We would definitely stay at Best Western Airdrie again and, recommend to our friends and family.

The apartment was clean, spacious, warm and very comfortable. It had plenty of good cooking utensils, the bed was very comfortable and the shower/bathroom was excellent. The washing machine and dryer was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved staying there and would certainly stay again.

Also loved the 2nd floor courtyard. Our room had French doors to the courtyard and it was a great way to cool down after the soak at the Upper Hots Springs. The bed was so comfortable, the kids were asleep in minutes and never woke til much later than usual. Having an underground parking space was also a bonus. It was cool and overcast much of the weekend but comin...

I wanted to book directly with Best Western but I was lead to Agoda without opsions. I also wanted to cancel the room, but could not get to Agoda's cancelation site. They kept sending me back to booking. No way to cotact by phone or e-mail. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!! Will never do this again. Pete

I booked the room (excellent price for 2 nights)and showed up at the hotel 10 minutes later and was able to check in.Extremely helpful front desk clerk.I was able to get a room on the main floor, very clean, quiet and beds were excellent. No issues to report. Will definitely stay there again for my courses I take there for oilfield work. Thanks again.

We had an enjoyable stay at your hotel. The staff were very accommodating, even advancing the date of check-in by one day to make up for an error in booking we made. We hope to come stay with you later in December. We hope you will give us yet another good deal! All the very best! Raj and Joy

Check in was a horror. Desk clerk had not heard of Agoda and did not believe I had prepaid online. I showed her my Agoda receipt and the credit card transaction. Still would not accept it and tried to run the charges through again. She became argumentative and I had to ask her to calm down. She questioned Agoda's address being in Singapore and argued with me about that...

We enjoyed our stay the room was super clean hotel over all was clean the swmming pool was great for the kids and the slide is separate from the pool which was amazing for us the staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating .it was great we are going back when we return to the city.

The pet friendly room had a weird lay out. The air conditioning is behind a wall so you don’t even get air flow. It was really warm and muggy. The room was clean overall, needs a few updates. You get what you pay for. We liked the price which is why we stayed to begin with.

Really great place for budget travellers. Includes breakfast which is a bonus. There is a pool and lots of families were using it, even in this cold weather. The rooms were clean, warm and included a fridge and microwave allowing for the storing and heating of leftover food. The location was good and easy driving distance to the University of Alberta. The staff were fr...

From the time we called the hotel from the airport freephone,we received personalised and efficient service that was definitely beyond the 3 star rating of the hotel. The hotel was a 15 minute ride away and we were quickly settled into our spacious room with 2 queen beds. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us & all our luggage. The hot breakfast provided a good star...

quiet clean room with attentive staff. Internet is fast and easy to use. With a location close to the LRT staying at this hotel allows one to travel with ease around the city. There is also a shopping mall within easy walking distance where a person can find good dining.
4-star hotels in Alberta Province

I'm not one to spend too much money on accommodation as I don't typically spend too much time in the hotel room. However, I think I might have converted myself. The extra money put in to stay at a luxury hotel was so worth it. The rooms were large, had enough space for four people to move around comfortably. Facilities were amazing. Pool and hot tub felt like a priva...

We had a wonderful 7-night stay and will stay again if we travel back to Canmore, Canada in the future! Staff is very helpful and nice! All the amenities were included and parking was secure. 24-hour staff (which was peace of mind). Food is nearby, but not at the hotel, which is okay. We brought breakfast food in the hotel. We did not have a suite, and it was fine. Lov...

The first thing when u hear about fairmont is beautiful, pricey, and picturesque, and yes its true. Its like they own the whole lake louise, view from the hotel room was exceptional. I book the lowest which i assume the standard room for 400 bucks. Expect to pay parking seperately and the 400 bucks only for the view. Don't expect anything from the room.

Stayed here for 1 night as a stop prior to our flight home out of Calgary airport, Hotel was clean and spacious and the staff were amazing! food in the restaurant surprised us how good it was. There is also a free shuttle service to and from Calgary airport departures for guests which helps out so much and saves money on a taxi which we expected to get. Would highly re...

I booked this hotel because I had a long transit time between flights. It was done on purpose so that my son got ample time to get his study permit done on arrival. The hotel was located in the airport building but you need to clear the custom and a short walk to get to the hotel. The hotel room was clean, quiet and cosy.

This was a very nice, quiet location right beside the Athabasca river. Went for a nice walk around the property hoping to see some deer, but no luck. We stayed in a room in the lodge. The room was clean and comfortable, but no TV. This location is strictly for enjoying quiet and nature. Very nice and helpful staff.

I really enjoyed staying in this Boutique hotel. Very quiet , with very pleasant staff throughout the hotel. Breakfast was nicely presented and staff was very helpful. The Property was clean, beds were comfortable. A lovely spa upstairs. Lounge staff was a bit off when we stayed, but overall a convenient and quaint place to stay. I would highly recommend a stay h...

I brought my 80 year old parents for a weekend away from the city and stayed two nights at Stoneridge. The accommodation was beautiful and we were all very comfortable in the space. Perfect location with easy access to the town and Banff National Park. The resort was close to the highway but we did not notice any sound while we were sleeping. We were there in the end o...

We love coming to this beautiful hotel nestled in the Rocky Mountains of Banff. Once again the staff provided excellent service from check in to check out. We have never been disappointed!! We had a wonderful weekend away and consider this our very special get away retreat!! The front desk staff were amazing even upgrading us to a room with a view,. The room was v...
Luxury hotels in Alberta Province

I would highly recommend this Inn. The owners were very attentive and friendly and the place was spotless--absolutely no dust anywhere. Our room was large and luxurious, and the 5-head shower was out of this world! Even though I work for a luxury hotel chain, I would choose to stay here again instead.
