Fujian Province hotels & accommodations

My husband and I first stayed here on the very first day of our study trip organized by a Singapore ceramic society. When we have to come back to Xiamen to wait for our flight to Bangkok, we decided to stay here again because their breakfast was very good. After 10 days in small towns a good western breakfast is something we look forwards to. On our last morning, we ca...

It was our first time to Xiamen and we received plenty of valuable information from the concierge for our 3D2N in Xiamen. Special mention to the concierge staff named Roger who was very patient in sharing and answering to all our travel related queries around Xiamen and even helped to place booking for ferry tickets. On our 2nd night, we also splurge and pamper ourse...

booked premier sea view room and was give the room at 50th floor, room size is really good and the amazing view from the altitude above 38th floor is just worth the stay. Conrad never fail to deliver its brand quality and its excellent service. you will never regret it

We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite. It was very spacious and nice for a family of 4. The location was rather convenient but there is nothing much around. Was a bit disappointed that the spa don't provide just foot massage. Breakfast was ok. Staff was friendly and helpful. In particular we want to commend a concierge staff - 方泽勇 - Arno for his patience and helping hand. ...

Marco Polo is a great hotel. Its very classy in an under-stated way....its not overtly opulent like many 5 star Chinese hotels. Service is excellent, executive lounge great and the in house Japanese and Chinese restaurants are highly recommended.

Overall excellent. I have been to this hotel before many years ago when it was the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Millennium have done an excellent job of renovation. Only criticisms: 1. The hotel could have provided a little more up-to-date local tourist information . Getting to Xiamen's star attraction (Gulangyu Island) is no longer as easy as most of China guide books sugg...

The hotel name sounds a little bit shabby at first time. But after checking in, the room is really splendid, at least the same level with Ramada or Hilton inn. Actually, the hotel used to be the city's Higher Level Official Resorts and once served Deng Xiaoping and received a 99/100 points from him. The location is awesome witn the best seafood restaurant XIAO YAN JIN...

During check-in, front desk officer could not find my booking and anyway they allowed me to check-in first and thank you for upgraded my room to better room - Deluxe Digital room (since the lower category room already fully booked). Overall I was very satisfied with Super 8 hotel during my stay. Hotel location is easy access to public bus transportation (it cost at RMB...

We would like to express our sincere thanks to Janice, who give us excellent service from the time we book the hotel until we check out. She is very patient to our requests and try her very best to make suitable arrangement for us. Hotel is excellent not only on its location (7 minutes walk to railway station) but also on its excellent housekeeping service. We w...

Is a new 5 stars hotel. Facilities a good. Friendly staff. William. Peter?.... Far away from City , but nearby have supermarket ,small restaurant, laundry , ¥100/p foot massage! Total we have 5rooms 4 nights there, all have a present stay, value for money!

I didn't use all the amenities of this hotel, so I can only comment on my own experiences. I've been to many many hotels all over the world, and I have to say I was shocked to find this type of operation in Quanzhou. Check in / Lobby - Well lit, marbled entrance. Service equal to that of what I've experienced at the Four Seasons. Selfless offers of assistance fro...

Truly a five-star hotel! Overall, the front desk, concierge, spa and housekeeping staff are very well-trained, professional, attentive , friendly, flexible, patient and smart. Guest rooms and recreational facilities are new, clean and well-maintained. there’s room for improvement for the coffee shop staff. The wait staff looked tired, no idea why we ordered the sam...

Stayed the executive floor. So my feedback generally limits to the privilege entitled to these guests. Rooms are good and clean. Views from the room and lounge are superb as well. One could actually enjoys the food and business meetings at the backdrop of a scenic view at the executive lounge. Breakfast at the hotel offers a wide variety of selections. You got some loc...

The location across the convention centre suited me. It was within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the difficulties in communication; as some only spoke in mandarin. The front desk tried their best to attend to queries. Rooms were very spacious, clean and well kept.

I found out that this is HaiCang is a relatively new area in Xiamen, so there is a little distance from city center. It's about 30-40 min drive. If you don't mind the distance, this is a nice hotel. It's not the same as DoubleTree hotels in the U.S. This is a 22-floor building with all the amenities.I particularly love the view that overlook the ocean. There are a lot...

I arrived at the hotel at half past 12 and staff asked if I would like to have a lake view room and if so I had to wait for another 40 mins so I waited and had a drink at the lounge (which was good) and I got back again he said I had to wait for another 20 mins cos the cleaning staff went to have lunch...very honest...and he gave me 2 non alcohol drinks coupons as comp...

Service was excellent all round, the Loyalty Manager, Brandy Chen was exceptional. I gave some feedback to her concerning the blinking light from the smoke detector and the air-conditioning and she immediately offered to upgrade my room. It was also very nice of her to offer to paste something over the blinking light as that was nothing much she could about the positio...

Left Hilton Fuzhou yesterday. Checked in Conrad Xiamen given room high floor with some Seaview but the design of the room has strange angular shape bed facing wall felt sandwiched rather uncomfortable.. it seems the room was not occupied for some time and not meticulously kept, items not restocked a nuisance to request for them. We expect luxury at Conrad being quite...

the location is quite good. it takes about 20 minutes from airport, and also 20 minutes to the city center. there is a bus station outside the hotel, so it is quite convenient to take the public transportation. the facilities in the hotel are quite good, it just fits the standard of four star hotel.

The hotel was very nice and was not expensive. I would recommend this hotel to other business travelers without any hesitation. My Agoda voucher stated that breakfast was not included but when I asked at the reception desk they told me it was free. The breakfast was pretty good as well.

The Xiamen Harbour Hotel Indigo is directly across a narrow strait from the smaller island Gulangyu, which is the best part of a lovely city. The main ferry docks are all either directly across the highway or a five minute walk away, but make sure you ask the staff which one to go to because it may not be the closest one to the hotel or the one you would expect. The ho...

This is the best hotel out of 3 we have booked thru Agoda for this trip. First, because the owners(husband and wife team),who are also the staff, are fast in attending to our concerns, from check-in to check-out, toilet issue, etc. Second, when we were lost in Xiamen on our first day, they went out of their way to pick us up using their car at no charge. They could ...

We stayed at the Louis China hotel for one night, having initially booked for two. The staff was very accommodating in allowing us to adjust our reservation at the last minute. The location one gulangyu was very convenient, but note you will need to take a ferry to get back and forth from Xiamen which can be a crowded and lengthy experience during the day (easier i...

I book this for my parents. They ask me to book this hotel as it appears to be excellent in the review. However it is so far from the crowded and it it so difficult for them to fins food place and shopping area as senior couples However the hotel itself represent the good quality

I booked this place on Agoda, the reviews were not that good. It was an inexpensive booking and reading other reviews mediocre was actually pretty good for Xiamen. I was not expecting anything amazing. Going in undersold, I was ready for anything. Door lock fails. After a day exploring, I find myself locked out. Luckily it was not too late, and they had a handy...

I stayed here for 1 night, since my flight arrived in the evening. It was less than 5 mins drive from the airport and the room was very comfortable with good wifi. The hotel manager, Ke, was wonderful and speaks great English. We had a lovely conversation over tea in the evening, as his family is also in the tea business. In the morning, there was a nice local market j...

Facilities: The hotel is pretty new, and the interior design looks chic. It's actually a sub-brand of 7 Days. Noise: There's a KTV downstairs, shared escalators with the KTV, department store, spa etc , you can probably expect the noise & crowded escalator. Location: The location is quite convenient though. It's right next to Zhongshan Park (中山公园), the entrance is r...

The room was a big apartment style room located in an apartment building and it was fine. There was a washing machine, refrigerator and a second sink outside of the bathroom. The shower had no shower curtain, as the bathroom is an older style Chinese bathroom. There is no checkin counter to go to, you have to call them when you arrive and I do not think they speak a...

The pictures shown on the website are totally fake, the rooms look nothing like the photos. The staff told us they don’t have businesses queen room, all the rooms are the same. The room they charge higher price is for business man who wants receipt of payment. Also we found cockroaches in our room.

Good location with various food stall surrounding. railway station, brt station, mrt station just in walking distance and bus can be took in front the hotel. Staffs are kind, friendly and helpful. Housekeeping done early morning every day. Some facilities in the hotel was old, the hotel well be perfect choice if the renovation can be done. The bathroom look unclean ...

Great Hotel. Nice and friendly staff at front desk especially the pretty young girl. Our requests were granted. Tidy and clean room. Great shower with shower gel and toiletries provided. Many multipower points provided in the room. TV with many channels to choose. Breakfast cost RMB25 per pax with limited variety and tasty dishes. Location between west street and west ...

The room was very clean. The room cleaner women was very good and do a very good job . The front desk staff are not helpful and inexperience to guide tourist when needed. Very funny that the hotel policy was that they do not provide assistance to call for taxi to airport and was told that this is the policy. Location is ok as it takes about 20mins walk to the most ...

room well maintained and tidy. Though the towels are sealed packed, but pls change those torn one. otherwise i would have given a perfect rating. Still i will return and stay only in 7days Inn when i am in Fuzou. Better than most of the 3 Stars hotel in Fuzou.

the staff let us wait for 30 mins because they said they have not received our booking confirmation in their email which is totally unbelievable given that when we booked online, we received the email confirmation after 1 minute! also, the staff were smoking in the lobby - INDOORS! so it smelled like hell. aside from these, no issue. I know there was a free breakfast b...

Very good place, comfy and modern rooms inside a traditionnal tulou. Excellent owners, very helpful. You can also contact their son, which is not living there but who is speaking good English. Unfortunately, this excellent stayin was nearly wasted by the driver the son recommended me (indeed the owners' nephew). This last is not speaking English at all and just drive...

Arrival of the hotel, during check in wasted alot of time 1 hr plus, required the Visa of our passport said it is a company policy. But our country is exempted from Visa. Their staff is under trained- do not know how to handle this kind of situation. Rough handle of our passport, flip through so rough almost going to tear the pages. Next time going to book the hotel be...

Dear all readers , I personally would higherly recommen . My resons are below : 1: Best review of Gulangyu ( it locates on the mountain) 2: the staff are very helpful ( they would willing walk down from the mountain and guide you up) 3: the environment is peaceful . (5 mins a way from the downtown area, it’s very convenience) The bad things are : 1: you have t...

The most difficult thing was finding the hostel initially, although it is on the 33, 17 and K1 bus route from the high-speed train station at the No. 2 Hospital stop. Probably the first time you visit, you should call the hostel for guidance when you arrive at No. 2 Hospital (just be sure to use "0" at the beginning of the number, not "85" as suggested in the Agoda co...

If arriving at the bus station, the hotel is about a 5 min taxi ride or a 30 minute walk. Hotel address in Chinese is 温陵北路359号,锦江之星。 If arriving at Quanzhou at the train station then it is about a 20 minute taxi ride but will only cost around 30-40RMB. The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from Dong Jie (East Road) with lots of shops and eateries. The park o...

Every trip to Xiamen, Discovery hotel is the only one for me. Enjoyed the room, set up, cleanliness and best of all, the friendly staffs. For this trip, I ventured further into the amenities and tried the massage centre in the hotel. The price is competitive, the service professional! Another thumbs up!

There is a shopping mall right next to the hotel. Room is comfortable and spacious and there are lots of movies to watch in the room. Although it is close to the airport, it is rather far from the main attractions of Xiamen island which requires cabbing. The price of a night’s stay is exorbitant too, given that breakfast is not included. I would settle for a cheaper ho...

Where to start ? At first I was puzzled by the very diverse reviews this hotel has, then once I appreciated the scale of the place I understood. It is really 2 hotels and a conference centre linked by a fine garden and tennis courts. The building close to the airport looks older and if my room is anything to go by is in the process of being refurbished. When I arrived t...

Fantastic, wonderful and warm... my family total 8 of us supposed to check out on 6 May and move to another hotel on the 8 May, and because of the overall Felt At Home Experience we decided to stay put on the 8 May and cancel the booking with the other hotel.

1) We have your full payment is charge SGN equivalents of CYN 8,664.03. 2) But we will charge on my credit card on 29/11/18 at SIN $1,800 ,which was very very high on conversion, as we have change in Singapore at SIN $1 to CYN 5.05. 3) On booking time I have put down to pay cash in CYN on the day of check in , but was told by the hotel staff that payment have all been...

No air on during the day— it is hot on a hot May Day!! Sitcom controlled by the facility & it is closed during the day. Hard to communicate w/ staff. They speak no English. They also don’t speak fukianese dialect when the hotel is located in Fujian province. It is sign language & they are not happy!!!

nice location. right in the middle of the downtown, and right next to the hot spring park. very nice to take a walk after breakfast. and the room condition was satisfying as well. very clean and the beds were really comfy and relaxing. the staffs were kind and very helpful too. nothing to complaint. best experience a traveler can get with 60~70 usd per day. :)

The glory time is over i think, the swimming pool is belong to other company and as complementary only get 1x Entries for 1 person even you stay for 2 people and for more nights, after a long discussion trough agoda they finally gave us the swimming pool ticket as long we stay there..

I enjoyed my time at this hotel we stayed for 2 nights before we flew back home , approximately 5min drive from the airport, yet you don't hear the noise from the planes , the staff are extremely friendly and very attentive, the food at the Chinese restaurant was delicious and cheap as to was the western restaurant I ordered pizza from there and was delicious also chea...

Overall it was GOOD. It is a good idea to come with a tour because there is not much to do in the surroundings. If you are not with a tour it worths to have your own transport to visit the tulou from there, difficult to find a bus or taxi and private drivers will overcharge you. The hot springs are nice, big area with many sizes for everyone, you can really enjoy ...

Experience with Xiamen Landscape Neegeen Hotel was good. The room, bed and bathroom was perfect except the cigarette smell though i had requested for a non-smoking room. Internet speed was really fast but not at the corner room, so my best advise is don't take corner room if you surfs the net often. Don't expect much on breakfast...is typically chinese BF.

The best thing about Xiamen Xinyi Hotel is the very very generous breakfast buffet selection however, without any warning, they closed the breakfast area and there are absolutely no decent clean place to eat that is walking distance from this rather ageing hotel located in a not-so-tourist friendly far-off location away from the city center

Quite friendly counter staff. some more than others. Did not seem very well informed. Nosimple map of Quanzhou or environs available, but one could be bouight for Y10. Only in Chinese. Cleaning staff excellent, hard working. No complaints. Breakfast OK, plenyy of it, but not particularly tasty, but cannot be compared to similar hotels in larger cities/

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel-it was by the beach! The map had shown it was not far from Wutong Port which was why we had booked the hotel in the first place. The actual location is far from Wutong Port! But we did not mind as we had a room with a good view. We could see the beach dotted with wedding couples having their photos taken. Two of t...

Love this place. We had a city view king bedroom, and it was quite spacious. The room was very clean and tidy, they got most of the things that we needed. But there were some off side, the room lack of fridge, and they kinda "hide" the free tea bag, so we only saw the other beautifully displayed tea that we meant to pay if weren't careful or didn't understand chinese ...

- great location : close to airport (20 mins by taxi), haiwan park (5mins by bus or take a walk), zhongshan rd. and rundu ferry terminal (10-15mins by bus). there's a bus stop just behind the hotel. - guest room is clean. but if there's no window, it smells a bit. i recommend you stay in a room with window. - hot water comes a little later after you turning on...

Just my opinion: -All of the hotel staf should now the english language, as you are an international hotel -Also, you can inproove on the internet connection ....I vas very dissapointed, that that large, conference hotel was with so bad Wi-Fi. -A part from that, it is an excellent hotel. We had a lovely stay. I can recomend it :)

At first I thought this place is very inconvenient but in reality, away from city centre and yet taxi is always available to take you to nice places in Xiamen from CNY11 to CNY80. Kids and my invited Guests all love this hotel. Plus, dining in this 5 star hotel is very reasonable. Spend at least one night dining at this amazing Chinese Restaurant at 3rd floor.

The staff was excellent though I was in a rather foul mood after got transferred to the hotel due to an unfortunate event and waited an hour on the street with a 10kg backpack in the middle of the night. They have managed to maintain calm and a smiling face throughout. I am grateful that they have maintain a helpful attitude particularly after my eventful day. The ...

i stayed in the crowne plaza hotel paragon xiamen for a week on business to attend a conference. the hotel provides very good conference facilities and service as well as the hotel is also good for the business traveller but also to families in my point of view. the location is very good in the midle of the city exactly in the business and shopping district (e.g., c...

It is new, well decorated, stylish, but a few resturants inside and they are small. I have not try the resturants as they are not look good. But the shopping centre is so close to hotel and have many good choices. Beauitful river view and quite environment. Basically, it is nice and will book again.

I have been seeing the hotel was built back in the 80s. It's my favorite hotel and had the best service. I stayed at the hotel every time when I go to Xiamen. However, it is a bit different during this stay. 1st, the carpet in the lobby seems to be dirty and wear out. 2nd, I stayed for two nights, the service staff didn't take away the glasses and teacups. The hotel is new and very nice but because of its location being far away, getting a taxi is a problem. Luckily, the hotel provide their own taxi to take care of that but on the high side. The Website said English Speaking staff available, this was not the case. From Agoda photos we expected a dated property but surprisingly well maintained, Right at the center of Quanzhou old city with shopping F&B public transport.... we booked 2 rooms and paid each ( USD 80) for the tower block rooms but was given DONG HUI section, older section from other reviews. Dec’17. It’s a 5 star hotel but the facility isn’t looks like a 5 star. I’m not sure during the winter the pool is not running because they dry up the pool or the pool is under maintenance without and notice.
