My mum and dad got married on the 18.05.2019 and I had booked a room for them at the met court. Everything had been conducted perfectly until they were informed the next morning that the breakfast included in the package I had purchased for them included breakfast for one person only (despite the confirmation stating BREAKFAST INCLUDED, not breakfast for one included). My dad was informed that if he wanted breakfast it was an additional cost of R205 (the same of which I would have paid for, had I been accordingly notified). Needless to say, I was beyond EMBARRASSED at the situation. Newly weds and only the bride indulged in the breakfast. This is something that ought to be notified to prospective guests staying at the hotel.

This four-star hotel is only ten minutes away from the airport, The bedroom and bathroom are well decorated, very spacious and clean. The parking yard is huge and can hold hundreds of cars. The hotel also provides 24-hour free shuttle bus to the airport for tourists without cars. The hotel staff are professional and friendly. The free breakfast provided is nice. Chinese TV programs and flight information can be watched on the hotel TV, which is very useful for Chinese tourists. The most important thing is that we feel very safe.

we had a very nice experience in your wonderful hotel! the best hotel i could think of in johannesburg! everybody treated us with smiles and service 24/7.the rooms are so nice that you dont even want to get out of there! relaxing athmosphere and quite surroundings outside the hotel with lots of parks and jogging areas for the joggers. i will recommend the genesis conferencing hotel and suites to everybody in the world that i know... if they ever wanna travel to johannesburg-southafrica..there is only one hotel i would recommend! that is the genesis conferencing and suites hotel in fairmounts. thank you everybody for your hospitality and greatest service!

Sadly last time I explained how bad the coffee was - it surprised me it is worse now.. Gone too is that coffee machine at the front door although it was broken lastime it was s nice touch ..My food channel wasn't runny either - another main reason I booked .. Everything else is ok , the staff are polite and professional but frankly it's 'ok' and not worth repeating unless it's the most affordable option compared to your competitors .... I like the green idea but I doubt the environmental / green awareness extends beyond your hotel fittings and infrastructures... Smaller genuine details would go along way - ethically sourced food and paper.. Sponsoring an environmental cause... Using a local coffee roasting company in each country instead of some ' international ' that sends terrible stuff and doesn't care. Like I explained to your manager last year I travel all over the world - coffee is a metaphor for the entire customer experience its small I know but it sets the bar for what standards are underlining and how much park inn 'cares' about how their customer feels and relaxes.. It's shocking when it's not even half way decent- considering how easy it had become to serve well. I've stayed in 3 star or bed and breakfasts and the 'morning cup of coffee is what stays in your mind and reminds you what little special touches mean . Please don't reply with that generic answer like last time suggesting i try 'your lovely latte' it's pointless - I doubt too your manager took my advice and tried the bitter sharp 'coffee'your breakfast serves.. like I explained I sit at dinner parties and at customer meetings using this example as a direct and pertinent metaphor for lack of relationship building... But it's fine .. If your prefered adjective is ' ok' next to words park inn - keep going . Regards Emma

I'm an international traveller I always use Intercontinental or other brands Last week on my wages to Mauritius the ICH in OR tambo was full so I stayed at Sandton the experience I had Was Awful awful I decided not to waste endless my money and chose Premier Inn as its close to airport I was pleasantly surprised very clean hotel Lovely laid out room Shower was Great Best Thing I experienced Such Honesty I forget my Ipad in the room when i checked out I travelled and only realised when just stated unpacking that my Ipad was forgotten WOW UNBELIEVABLE THE GUEST RELATIONS OFFICER IMMEDIATELY CONFIRMED IT WAS WITH HER I BELIEVE THAT THE STAFF WHO HANDED IT IN DESERVES A CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION AND AN AWARD AND WE WANT TO GIVE THIS PERSON A GIFT AS WELL HOPEFULLY PREMIER HOTEL WILL GROW FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH

This hotel sets a standard that I wish all those overrated 4 star hotels in the UK and US came even close to following..... Spacious, thoughtfully appointed, modern and bright room, big window, very comfortable bed, plenty of lighting which you could dim or brighten according to your needs. Well designed, from the spotlessly white beds and chairs, to the silver-toned curtains and beautiful richly-toned wood of the desk and dresser. Plenty of drawer and shelf space for you to put away your things, far more than in most hotels. And the bathroom is state of the art--all glass walls and very bright, a deep tub that it was a pleasure to soak in, a separate rainshower with plenty of water pressure, and an excellent modern design. I loved the entire experience. I've stayed in so many hotels world-wide, because of my work travel, that I have generally don't enjoy hotel experiences, but this hotel was a pleasure to stay in, with the all the thoughtful comforts of home combined with an elegance and style that you seldom find outside of Asia. In short, Davinci was definitely the best hotel I've stayed in. As an added bonus, it has great security and is located next to a safe mall with excellent shopping.

The overall stay was good. The room wasn't big, but it was enough for two people with not many luggages. However, the toilet was relatively large. There were all kinds of amenities, the view from the window was also great too. The location was absolutely perfect as the hotel was located near to the JNB airport, which required only ~10mins to walk. One possible disadvantage is that the hotel only has three levels occupying a large area, so each level accomodates many rooms. It took me ~3mins to walk from the lift to my own room, so if your room is located at the end of the ail, it may take you ~7mins. And you cannot see the surrounding environment from a high height. But it in fact is not a big problem. There are two reasons why i gave a lower rating to staff. First of all, the staff wasn't too polite when i checked in. She kind of yelled at me for my passport with a rude tone. What had pissed me off more was the staff in the hotel restaurant. 45mins after we ordered, the food still had not yet arrived. We noticed that the staff who served us was in the resting room, and other staff was chit-chatting. At last, we got our food after an hour, with the staff not admitting that we had waited for an hour that much. This might be understandable, but i don't think these should be the services provided. Anyway, i will recommend to hotel to others, but you may just need to eat outside.

Is really convenient if you have to make a connection in Johannesburg and sleep one or two nights. Is cheap and is ok. Mainly y if you arrive at night or afternoon and the next day have plans to leave the city. Or if you arrive to the airport during the night and don't want to take taxi to the centre. Is less than one kilometer from the airport. And is near Rhodesfield train station (gautrain). The hotel offered to take and pick up as to/from the train station and the airport with no charge. They offer a buffet breakfast included in the price

Can I say fabulous again...this was by far the best hotel that I have been too and I stay at five star hotels...but the service and grounds were awesome. I think there are 10 rooms so very intimate. The room(suite?)I stayed in had a private outdoor space that included shower, hot tub, lounge area and table and chars that we had breakfast the next morning. The room has a fireplace and a beautiful spa bathroom with soaking tub for two...very romantic...I will definitely return on my next trip to South Africa. I forgot to say that the airport transfer is in a old Rolls Royce...can you say class...family owned and operated hotel.

The people are extremely friendly and helpful. I been travelling across various counties and hotels for the past 3 years and this was my best stay considering I stayed in 5 star hotels outside SA as well. I can only speak good things about my stay and the people must keep it up and make me a proud South African. Well Done to the teams who took great care of me for nearly 1 week.

Booked this as a last minute stay for our last day in J'oburg and we were impressed. Check in was efficient and quick. You do need to review a few papers though, notable the inventory list but they make it seemless and quick. The suite had all we needed, including a washing machine. No dryers in the smaller units though. Location in Sandton is greata few minutes walk from the Benmore Garden's Shopping Centre where there is a Pick and Pay and some good takeaway options too : Simply Asia is a favorite. Would definetely stay again.

This is how 5 star Hotels should be run. Great rooms, especially the Junior Suites, great restaurant serving brilliant steaks and a variety of equally great foods. The pool, although on the small side, allows for sunbathing, if that's your thing, as well as a relaxing swim. Staff couldn't have been friendlier. Also offer a regular free shuttle on the half hour into Sandton City, great for shopping and dining out (but we didn't need to eat out)

My husband and I stayed here for a few days on our trip to Johannesburg and it was Spectacular!!! The Hotel is truly one of a kind it’s not your typical cookie cutter hotel but instead a architectural dream with a surprise around every corner. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff is so friendly goes above and beyond we forgot our outlet converters and even though the hotel offers this standard our one of our plug could not fit the converter offered we recognized this later in the evening and they offered to run into town to get us the correct one. This is the type of special care and service they offer. It was so good we had to force ourselves to leave the property to check out The town. If you are looking to feel like royalty this is the place to stay you will not be disappointed. We’ve stayed at plenty of 5 star hotels around the world and this tops the list. Truly the Epitome of first class service. We will definitely be going back.

My experiences here have been magnificent! I came for only a week however, I have now extended my stay for another 10 days and who knows what will happen then?. I may find a job here and just live in this hotel. It would permit me to focus completely on work while having guaranteed top services in a welcoming, clean, supportive and friendly environment. This hotel is worthy of a higher rating but it is strategically more impacting when an institution exceeds customers' expectations continuously as Garden Court has.

from the check in to the check out, to the golf cart driver Jade and the impromptu whizz around the facilities, to the ladies who made my bed (even though i pulled it straight and tidied it), to my beautiful bathroom and all the nice stuff in it, to room service two late nights in a row, to the beautiful and tasteful breakfasts and the lesson on sunny side up and eggs over easy lesson ( i knew that right? ) and despite me being sick recovering from colitis they fed me with all the good things that made me well - oh and not forgetting the chef who recommended that we have spinach and butternut with our chicken burgers - spot on. the best prepared butternut in a long time. thank you for spoiling me Thaba Eco. it was a beautiful birthday weekend.... they say i had the VIP room but really, i went and peeped in some other rooms, i think everyone there will feel like VIPS. thank you Agoda too

The Once is an amazing “ploshtel” which has something for every type of traveller. The building is a former hotel so some of the rooms are just what you would expect for a regular hotel. And for “older” travellers like myself who do not want to do the complete hostel experience anymore, the Once is perfect. The double room is lovely with a comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and shower and a room safe to store your valuables. But if you want to go the hostel route, the first floor provides communal cooking facilities which are set up for storing your own food, a comfy hangout area, a movie room and a veranda for smokers. The "phoshtel" also provides recommendations for tours, things to do etc. although they could not help me with using the local bus system. And a real bonus is that the first floor also has an ATM which provides a much more secure setting for getting your cash. But with that said, it is the awesome staff that really makes the Once so unique!

Me and my wife had a wonderful a week long anniversary getaway from Tanzania. We were picked at the Airport by driver names Maxwell who the hotel sent for us. He was charming and friendly and we decided that we will only use him during the week which turned out to be the best option, he was reasonable costly, he took us a day long Soweto tour which we got to see all the historic sites plus Hector Peterson Museum plus bungee jump site which used to be old electrical generator plant. The apartments did not have a hotel fee to us as we purchased all our food and drink and made our own breakfast and dinner, we enjoyed the privacy and quietness the apartments brought. Overall at first this looked to be expensive but it was all worth every penny, my wife had such a wonderful time and we will definitely recommend to our friends and family to stay at the hotel.

When my trip was in the planning phase this hotel was the one we were told we would be staying. It ended up being booked so we were put in another location. My daughter and I were a bit disappointed after reading what the hotel had to offer. I decided mid-week to try to get a room for our last night since it was close to the airport and offered free shuttle and since our flight was in the evening there were things we could due while waiting for flight time. We got the room at a great price! I was a bit nervous about the check-in since I had never used this website for booking and wasn't so sure about it since the price was so good. All went fine, absolutely no problems. I did have to pay for a late checkout. When we walked into the room we couldn't believe the size, it was huge in comparison to what we had been in. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The one downfall was that they were doing some painting in the hallways outside the room and the smells were a bit much when we first came in.

Superb value for money, especially when making a last minute booking. Rooms are relatively cheap then, in comparison to booking in advance. Some facilities did not work ie. TV remote, telephone for reception, had to use cellphone (not a big issue, but it didnt work nonetheless) Staff not the best the I have encountered. Not taking proper orders for room service etc. But not a train smash Overall I would definitely return to stay at this hotel should I be attending a concert or event at the Casino

Overall we were very impressed with this property. We checked in late and we were upgraded as the property was not very busy on the night. :) This was a lovely gesture. Our room was large and well appointed. Dressing gowns awaited us. All the facilities one could think of were available! The dinner was excellent. Really enjoyed my camembert starter. The manageress on duty was friendly and accommodating. We felt very relaxed and looked after. There is a well stocked honesty bar that had everything we felt like during our stay. We even squeezed in a game of pool after dinner :) Massive safe secure parking area for your vehicle. Spectacular view which unfortunately we didn't have enough time to enjoy. Loved this hotel :D

Just 1.5 hours from Jhb - it's very easily accessible The aqua dome - is great even in bad rainy weather The animal world is also very nice The walk through the wetlands to the river was also a treat As well as the wall climbing Two complain however - when booking it's not obvious that their are 3 different locations of accommodation - the chalets where 3 star but cost almost the same as the hotel which is 4 star The chalets where a bit tired with some damaged furniture and no shower ! Or hairdryer It is also very far from the facilities , had we known this we would have the little extra and stayed in the hotel

My stay was great with no issues. Booked at 7am and even with the hotel policy 2pm check-in time i was allowed to check-in at 10:30am. Connie the manager is so friendly and welcoming. She's a real asset to any establishment as they are the sort of memories you can recall when deciding to book a room again in the future. The standard queen room was as expected. Clean, modern and soundproof. Even though the maximum amount of hotel guests are limited to 2 per room, we had no problems in checking in with 3 people. As from the past I've had numerous amounts of guests over during my stay. And this time was no different. At one stage there were 6 people in my hotelroom. Yet there was no issue for the security to let any as well as, as many hotel guests as I wanted. The one thing that would make the experience a better one was if the bar fridges in each room had a freezer along with the fridge. Also that there should be a big ice machine and water dispenser in each building where guests can just help themselves to complimentary water and/or ice whenever they want. Each building should also have a fully shocked vending machine stocking essentials like cigarettes, condoms, certain OTC medications, crisps, sweets, cold drinks as well as any other snacks that guests have come to ask for from time to time. Insufficient variety of drinks and snacks stocked at reception. The kitchen should also be open throughout the day and night (till 10pm) for guests who require food such as burgers, toasteds or any other lite meals. Each room should have a big stainless steel jug precisely for water as well as an ice bucket. Each room should also have an ashtray in it. Better coffee needs to be available in the room as Ricoffy (the cheapest SA instant coffee) is terrible. Milk should also be provided as Cremora (coffee creamer) isn't the same as milk. My room didn't have satelite tv ch unlike what was advertised. Each room should have a variety of Dstv ch (all sport ch especially)

Lovely rooms! Location is nice. Close to Sandton mall, walkable. That was why I chose the place anyway. Cons - Breakfast is just there, very bland. Ugh! The Staff, only Sammy, the concierge guy was friendly and nice. I had already booked the hotel before reading reviews, most of the bad reviews I read were about the staff and had nothing to do with the hotel facilities. I arrived at the hotel and I wasn't disappointed. The lady I met at the reception was just outright rude and uncaring. I greeted her and I barely heard a reply, she was just chewing gum. The staff at the restaurant too were always just staring, no smiles whatever. I am just here wondering if it's a Jo'burg thing. I will only recommend this hotel because of location and nothing else. I don't feel very welcome there.
