New South Wales hotels & accommodations
Amora is a 5 star hotel with a 2 star gym - the gym equipment is old, missing pins and the treadmills need servicing. The one multifunction gym needs upgrading - with gym goers having to wait to share pins and weight stacks. Disappointing. the pool and steam room are great. The room is not well designed with the TV set to the left of the bed - so you get a sore nec...
The location is excellent, walking distance to Darling Harbour, George Street the monorail and Hyde Park. The gym was very good with plenty of new machines, weight machines and free weights. They could do with some exercise mats, but overall I really liked the gym. The breakfast was only and the choices were good. As hotel breakfasts go, it was good value. The room ...
A beautifully decorated and spacious room with sliding doors to a small balcony greeted our weary bodies. Happily the bed was very comfortable, unfortunately the pillows were flat & hard. Please get new pillows! We ate at the restaurant during our stay & the meals were simply amazing. My husband & our friend had the Bhuna Gosht & raved about it the whole way through ...
brilliant location just around corner from conference i attended. advised me of best coffee shop around corner opposite capital theatre metro hotel staff also go to this place for coffee. close to cheap eats thai, chinese, korean. pubs on every corner also offer decent cheap food and free live music catering to all hours. hotel price reasonable, all facilities t...
Hotel location is very good, walking distance to Sydney town tourist spot, such as Sydney tower, St mary's cathedral sydney, Chinatown, Paddy's market, Darling harbour side, and Town hall MRT station and so on... Cleanliness of hotel room is 10/10 provide daily room cleanning sevices... The room interior design is comfortable and look like new... provide mini frige, ...
The hotel was nice but the room was a bit small for the category and for what we paid for. We booked the king club room and we didnt know that it wasn't facing the harbour. We stayed here during new years eve in the expectation to see the fireworks from the room on Darling Harbour. The hotel is very accessible as it is near the prime shopping area and some major attrac...
When we arrived, we had three booking, one could not travel so we ask for refund, it was denied, the Check-In, staff on 18 March mid day (Filipino staff) who was there was less accommodating and full of excuses. I requested for a late check-out and she wasn't very accommodating either. Had so many excuses like she was more driven by policies and procedures rather than ...
stayed here on business and found the location was very central. useful for getting around the cbd. it's next to town hall station which is a stop or two away from central station and apart from being on the main drag george st, it is opposite the qvb and a short walk to the best shopping complex in town, the new westfield sydney. the hotel interior features dark w...
it is a great place, in cbd south close to town hall, darling harbour, central station and in the heart of china town, great restaurants all around. the room are well serviced with maximum comfort, all amenities, though the internet access is pricy.
we booked a double bed with shared bathroom. this hotel is fancy and provides good value in sydney but has very small rooms. the location is probably the best you can find for the money. it's around the corner from oxford street so you get the amazing relaxed vibe and tons of food choices literally around the corner from your hotel. it's also a quick 3 minute walk to t...
A new apartment hotel, with everything for a comfortable stay, clean linen sheets, towels for the well appointed bathroom, even laundry detergent for the washing machine! Pots, pans, cutlery and glasses for a home made meal on the very fancy stove. And after a day of business meetings or strolling around the sights of Sydney, there is a wonderful swimming pool to relax i...
We had a great time. You can easily walk to Town Hall and St James's stations from the hotel and it is opposite the Queen Victoria Building and basically part of the huge Westfield Mall with a food court underneath. Darling Harbor is a short walk away with all the attractions and restaurants there. The staff are all helpful and friendly. It's a great location to see al...
This was just the best ever. Our apartment was fantastic. Our view went right to Sydney centre. It was spotlessly clean. The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was terrific. Everything was just right. We almost always book with Agoda and I wish everyone would - I know from experience they source the best rooms in each establishment and their Specials are special.
In general the room was nice, clean and tidy. Lots of storage area. Found a hair on a cushion but all other things was nice and clean. The kitchen is well equipped but no cutlery was provided. Wanted to cut a lemon for my tea. :/ The washing machine was useful. Liked the luggage stand and loved the slippers. The slippers are in great quality as for temporary use slippe...
Frasers Suites is the best interpretation of a new style of lodging. I am traveling extensively around the world for business and pleasure, cannot stand any longer the boring staying at impersonal chain hotels and it is not always possible to enjoy small boutique hotels with adequate service. Frasers is a perfect alternative, modern and cool atmosphere and, above all, ...
Lovely new hotel, clean tidy, very friendly team, extremely welcoming and accommodating. I was able to check out and leave the luggage with the hotel while spending the day sightseeing. The room had everything to meet and suit my needs. Bed so comfortable, duvet and pillows were really soft and comfortable. The TV had plenty of channels to choose from. Bathroom was ver...
The Grace is aptly named. The decor has an old-fashioned charm to it. It's distinctly not a new hotel, but it wears its age well. If you prefer a more modern feel, the Grace may not be your kind of place. Nonetheless, it was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Service staff aren't especially attentive, but are efficient and polite; check in and check out were...
Before I decided to stay at this hotel, I read a mixed review about this premise. But based on my personal experience, I would highly recommend this hotel as it boast great service, great location and value for money. Considering Sydney is an expensive city, this hotel would be an answer for those who are budget minded but still would want to stay in a hotel rather tha...
Our stay was for 5 nights and was a super-star experience. The hotel is beautiful, still feeling new and very stylish. The staff are incredibly helpful and very friendly. Having the cleaning staff happy enough to greet you with a smile when you happen to see them is rare where I've been in the past! The rooms are kept immaculate and are full of the mod-cons, blinds ...
My room was an Executive Room: spacious and clean room and very good location. You can go any where in the city by bus and sub as main street which most buses operate and sub station are very very close. To Darling Harbour and south part of city, its just a walking distance, about 5-10 mins. I strongly recommend this hotel for the price I paid.
Booking Veriu Central is one of the best decisions I have made during my preparation for our recently concluded trip to Sydney. The room rate is very reasonable given their location. It is located at CBD and is few blocks away from the tourist spots and restaurants. We were able to access lots of places by walking because of the strategic location of the hotel. The...
This is a fabulous new build hotel and generally a great property located within minutes of the light rail, convention centre and Darling Harbour. Whilst I found the design to be quite stunning I was surprised that it felt more suited for Noosa, Port Douglas, Hayman. Coral pieces on the wall above the bed, leather strapping that also had the feel and texture of what...
We booked the 2 bedroom deluxe for a family of 5. The apartment was very clean with almost everything needed - fully equipped kitchen with like new and clean appliances, washing machine and dryer. 1 room has balcony. We like that the living and dining rooms were not carpeted. It’s about 5 min walk from the Museum station, not too far from China Town, 15 min walk to Q...
Highly recommended this hotel. I’ve stayed two nights in this hotel during Christmas and Boxing Day. Walking distance to the CBD and shopping malls and publictransport. This made my shopping on boxing days and trips to other areas really convenient. I stayed in the twin room. The room is spacious and clean. Decoration is classic style. The staff are extremely fridendl...
I was travelling alone to Sydney and decided to give this hotel a try, I have compared The Star to several hotels- narrowing 5 of the best 5-star hotels (review based) and although I find a better looking deals on the internet, I always come back to looking at booking at The Star because the pictures of rooms on their website are just stunning. I took my chance and hop...
Central Sydney at peak season means it is very challenging to get great accommodation and service at a reasonable cost. In these circumstances the Novotel performed exceptionally well. The views over Darling Harbour would be very difficult to beat and the location offers the very best opportunity to explore Darling Harbour. The rooms are perhaps a little past their ...
A young girl Stephanie took over 20 mins to check me in (not sure she is new or just very slow) with my credit card and ID. A very poor people customer service skills as no conversation at all as she was looking at the PC. Her co workers had already checked 3 people in who arrived after me. After 25 min waiting, she finally handed me cards and room key then pointed me ...
Value for money: This hotel is located in an ideal place which is inside Chinatown, just 5 minutes to walk to Chinese Friendship Garden, Darling Harbour or Hay Market, especially Light Rail station. Moreover, if you go from the airport by bus called Ready2Go, it takes you about 5 minutes from the place you are dropped of. You just just right to the Factory St and go u...
The hotel is very easy to get to if coming from south of Sydney once on Oxford Street travel straight into Liverpool Street and it is on the RH side before Sussex Street. The service was very efficient. Parked outside the hotel entrance and my vehicle was parked by a valet. Check-in was quick and efficent. Car parking is $35 overnight. I think that is ok. The king-size...
We arrived on good Friday so the city was fairly quiet. We had taken a cab to Sheraton on the Park as there was 2 of us and it was only $20 dollars extra than 2 tickets on the train from the airport. The receptionist handled our booking in no time flat and we were given a room on the 11th floor. Unfortunately, we only had a partial view of Castlereagh Street and the bu...
Cheap places to stay in New South Wales
So close to the train station and great location. Neighborhood gets a little noisy on the weekends, and there are strip clubs across the street. I did not mind this at all, but I know some people would. I stayed in the summer and there was no a/c but there was a really good fan. I had a great time there and felt very safe!
Summer House Staff is lovely!! Big shout out to Georgia and Jana. Very warm welcome in Summerhouse. +Amazing social hostel, good location, free brekkie, clean rooms, activities. - The showers could be better - at some point boiling hot or freezing cold but rarely something in between. There is one or 2 showers where you can actually regulate the temperature :-) But a...
The hostel is located within a 5 minute walk from Katoomba Station. There is a Coles supermarket within 5 minutes walk as well. We stayed in a private double room and thought it was comfortably sized. Do however note that they are strict on the checkout time of 10 am and if you were to leave your baggage with them after checkout, you would have to pay $5. We were quit...
Much the same as any backpacker. The secret garden is the main attraction that sets it apart - cool socialising factor ++. Internet works, and there is a big bank of clothes washers. Clean rooms with high security door locks, big steel lockers in room. Very good. I found it quieter than the heart of the city, so got a good sleep. Around the corner there is 2 hour stre...
Good New Air-con - Lactation very near to City & Beaches. Wi-fi all Good & Fast. Stayed 2 Nite value for money. Motel Signage covered by Tree. TV prefer bigger sizes - Garden plants need triming. 88/100 %. Owner just took over 6 months ago.
Great spot and I would stay again - the office staff wanted me to pay in the morning though - Even though I’d paid through the booking agency ! Bit annoying!!
Thank you guys for contributing to this quick trip to Sydney with my son being so memorable - hotel and restaurant are a germ! Spending time on the hotel roof terrace playing cards and eating ice-cream while waiting for check-in, lots of bubbles coming out of a tavern, a joke from chef that did not go as intended, oven reheated left overs kebab chips and meats served n...
I booked a 4 females room and I got it just for me! Awesome. Everything was really clean. No problems at all
1) we were able to check in before 2pm as we arrived earlier than expected. the front office staff were extremely friendly and efficient with providing us a cbd map, they would also take the initiative to google a place for us if they were not familiar with it. 2) we were staying on the 6th floor double decker bed, the size of the room would fit the bed and two cup...
ok..I am not a real backpacker and when I booked a room in Elephant because I left the booking for the last minute and I did not want to pay more than 100 AUD for a day somewhere else.I did not expect much, but in the end I was quite satisfied. The room was clean-oldfashioned,but clean...showers were renewed and clean as well..The location is just perfect.I can recommend...
It wasn’t perfect but it wasn’t as bad as what others said in their reviews. Maybe they were expecting something like a 5 star hotel in a hostel. One of the cheapest hostels in Sydney and you also get to save on transpo since everything is walking distance. It is regularly cleaned everyday. Facilities great. My favorite are the staff. Special mention to Diego, Angelo, ...
I stayed 1 night in 4 female share room. This is my first time for staying dorm. But it's over expected. Bed was clean and soft with warm blanket provided. It had shower in a room. It was also clean as it seemed like other mates rarely stayed in the room. Nomads provides a lot of social activities. If you travel alone and wanna make new friends, you won't regret. It...
we booked a 6 bed dorm. we were the only ones in the room, room was very tidy, they supplied towels and even changed are bed and made it daily! the bathrooms were old and dated but clean and thats what matters , we thought that this place was excellent value for money.
we had four nights in jolly swagman. initially, i am worried after running through some bad reviews of the hotel eg: bad rooms v poor facilities, lots of night drunken etc. however, my overall stay is quite smooth and nothing much to complain given the cheap prices they charged. before arriving, i actually sent an email to jolly expressing my concern on the stay and ho...
Short journey to/from airport, exit from south concourse, turn right walk through graffiti tunnel, at end of tunnnel you will see YHA sign and then turn right. It has big commonrom, interesting event every night. Cons: only usb charge available in my dorm room. Have to charge camera place else.
The staff were wonderful! They were funny & helpful. The hostel had more items than other hostels I've been to. It was very clean. The only thing that annoyed me was how the lights in the shower kept turning off due to it being motion sensored. Showering in the dark at night isn't great. Otherwise, everything else was TERRIFIC about this place! Definitely would recom...
It is a good place in Sydney: cheap and good location. The kitchen in the evening is very dirty because the guys in the hostel they don't have any education about it. There is right that will be a fine of 50$ if you don't clean but at that time in the hostel there is any worker so no control. But all the rest is good and very nice atmosphere and the staff was very nice...
Staff were really friendly and welcoming, as were the other guests - most of them you could tell had been staying there a while, so were friendly and at home. The room was clean but small and narrow so not much space for your luggage. Wifi worked great in the room. Location was great for Kings Cross and Potts Point. Cheap and cheerful.
Katoomba YHA feels like a 4 Star Hotel more then a Hostel! fabulous Lounge/ TV room and Kitchen Dining Room where guests enjoy the civilised atmosphere of the mountains! They just introduced Piped music(acoustic wallpaper) and This is a great spot for Groups, with Conference facilities etc they have Hotel singles and doubles as well and it's probably the cleanest Ho...
Good keep same
It's been many years since I had stayed in a back-packers, and I was by far the oldest person staying there, but staff were welcoming all the same, and the occupants soon stopped staring at me! The location of Base was great - only a few minutes walk to Darling Harbour, or to Town Hall station, and actually Circular Quay and the bridge were walkable - about 30 mins ma...
We stayed here for one night with our two under-4s. It is an old building, but clean and well kept. Close to secure parking (World Square) and great value for money for being in the middle of the city!!! Being an old building, it’s not super aoundproof and there are LOTS of stairs. We managed, but best not to try with a pram/lots of heavy luggage.
1 min walk from Central Station. You can walk from Sydney Central Inn you can walk up to The Rock, passed the Hyde park, Australia Museum, St. Mary's Cathedral, Art Gallery of New South Wales, The Royal Botanical Garden, Sydney Opera House. Room is average (no aircon). Towels are provided with bath shower gel and conditioner. Common toilets are always tidy (I tried b...
Free surf/ kayak/ SUP equipment is a huge plus and the hostel has spotlessly clean facilities. It also has an awesome layout perfect for meeting new people with different events on everyday. Had such a good time here both as a short termer the first time then as a long termer the second.
The hostel is close to everything, the location is great. There is free break fastidio. The personal is very firendly and the most important thing is the people you meet here. I am staying for more weeks I already extend my stay. Victoria.
Cronulla Beach backpackers is overall a great hostel where everything is possible. The atmosphere is cheerful and friendly, and you're sure to find someone to have a chat or a pool game with at almost any time. This place really feels like home and I can only encourage you try it for yourself!
It was a good 2 night stay. Staff were helpful. I had an issue the day I arrived. As I have booked for an 8-female room, and initially has put me into a mixed room. which wasnt a problem when I advised them I booked for it. they immediately transferred me to the room I have booked for. overall good. The breakfast was good too in a cheap hostel near to the landmarks and...
This is a great hostel and located very close to the main beach. The town is very small and it is in a perfect spot for walking to all of the shops and restaurants. The room was very clean and decently priced. We stayed in a private-share room, which had a double bed and a single bed in it. The bathrooms and showers are shared amongst all of the guests and they were ve...
I booked female dorm. But there is a guy. I claimed that there is a guy. then the receotionist made me change the room. I could have stayed the dorm with no one for a day. Next day 2girls are coming in the room. At midnight they came back and one of them got really angry. Her voice is too loud to sleep. but dining room is so beatiful like a restaurant. kitchen...
Value for money! Booked a double private room and the room was decent enough. There was a sink, a mini fridge, a simple clothes rack and a cabinet. There was a table fan but I feel that it is too small and we really can't feel the fan on hot days. Maybe a standing fan would be better. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Good location near Bondi Beach but the doubl...
4-star hotels in New South Wales
When we arrived, we had three booking, one could not travel so we ask for refund, it was denied, the Check-In, staff on 18 March mid day (Filipino staff) who was there was less accommodating and full of excuses. I requested for a late check-out and she wasn't very accommodating either. Had so many excuses like she was more driven by policies and procedures rather than ...
it is a great place, in cbd south close to town hall, darling harbour, central station and in the heart of china town, great restaurants all around. the room are well serviced with maximum comfort, all amenities, though the internet access is pricy.
The...
Everything was not bad for a 4-star hotel. Please book for a hotel that is at least above the 3rd floor as the hotel is above the train tracks and you will feel the vibrations and sounds of the passing train. Other than that, the staffs are super friendly. I asked for the premium Internet and they gave it to me for free which is awesome even though the connection spe...
I have never stayed in the area before and had a conference to attend at the University of Sydney. What a spot! I could walk to the venue each day really easily up King Street, and I wish I had some exploring time to use the location. Everyone I told where I was staying was a little jealous. The price was envy-inducing, too. really great value for a nice room. I had ...
I booked online and paid in advance to receive a 20% discount. Great value. We were extremely pleased with our room. Incredibly spacious, new, large bathroom, mini kitchen if we wanted to eat in. They also offer shuttle service to the airport for a fee. The restaurant was closed due to new management, however, a number of places were within walking distance. I wo...
My husband and I stayed at this lovely hotel in the heart of Kingss Crossing. Be sure to upgrade to a superior room it is well worth the minimal charge. the staff is very accommodating and the room it self is spacious. it includes a refrigerator and a microwave. We stayed for two nights before our New Zealand cruise and then came back to stay before heading home to t...
I enjoyed my stay here more than I thought I would! The staff were helpful and friendly, I changed rooms because next door was noisy. They let me look at the new room before my bags were moved. The room was clean with a kitchenette, iron & board, everything I needed for a few nights. It is a 5 minute walk to Parramatta Westfield and the transport interchange. I would...
If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Surry Hills or just the inner south of Sydney 57 hotel is a good option. It's located right near the Central station and has plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants around. The room was relatively small but had all that was required. Only complaint is no bar fridge and the shower arrangement means water can get out over the flo...
Loved this hotel!!! We arrived early morning from a long flight and our room wasn't ready yet. But they graciously gave us access to a shower room where we could all wash up. Also, even though we had booked a King's bedroom, when they found out we were a party of 3 (2 girls and a guy) they gave us an extra bed free of charge. The room was very very spacious, with a li...
The Quest is in the middle of China Town and as we were dropped of we wondered if this was a mistake, but we have travelled around Australia and could honestly say we felt this was one of the best hotels/serviced apartments we stayed in. The road outside has restaurants on but it was not at all noisy and the roads were clean and tidy in the morning. The reception...
We booked this hotel at 9pm after a very long day: 43 degree heat in November and a delayed flight to the next morning. We found a great rate on Agoda, which became even better when we checked in and saw how nice the room is. Louis at the front desk was lovely, and the lobby is beautiful -- it reminded us of some European hotels as well as the Excelsior in New York. Th...

This hotel was in the perfect location for us. It was off the main road so was nice and quiet. Close to shops and restaurants which was a plus. The room was extremely clean and modern decor. It is however extremely small which was fine for my husband and I. You open the door and the bed is literally at the edge of the door. The bathroom is also tiny. 2 people ca...
I stayed four nights at his hotel. As I walked towards the hotel entrance for the first time my heart sank when I saw the building site as well as road works taking place on the opposite side of the traffic lights, however once inside this hotel is decidedly quiet. It is very conveniently located, only three minutes walk to Wynyard Station and only a minute or so mor...
I could not say any negative thing about this hotel. I luckily got the cheap price. only paid about 140bucks for 2nights. the room and service is beyond my expectation. Fairly sized room with complete amenities. The room is incredibly clean and the bed is comfortable (might be too hard for some but i dont like soft ones as they give me back ache) the room is pretty qu...
We spent a week at this accommodation and found the rooms to be well designed and clean. Our rooms had a good view in two directions, making it easy to see the fire works on New Years Eve. The sevice was good, with a faulty power point being fixed within two hours, along with a broken light bulb. Even though the apartment complex had many occupants there was no prob...
We booked this hotel few days before our trip and we are very satisfied with the hotel. First of all, it’s a new hotel, just opened probably 2 months ago so everything is new. Love that the location is very strategic. Woolworth is only 2 mins walk away. There’s this amazing dessert place called KOI @ Chippendale is only 5 mins walk away. We went there 3-4 times during ...
We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights over New Year 2014 , had a fabulous time, good food and drink outlets nearby, Hyde park is just a walk over the street, this hotel is in a great location for Darling harbour, just a quick walk to the transport hub of Circular Quay. A short walk to the rocks district, i would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in central sy...
We stated at this hotel because of its location, close to the Royal Prince Alfred. The hotel is ascetically great. The staff member was very good once we were able to contact him. We arrived at the hotel at just after 6pm. I wasn't aware that the hotel didn't have 24 hr reception. We found a note at the front door area which had been left by the staff member providing ...
I think it would be better if they put more logo or writing of the name of the hotel on the glass wall of the ground floor. The former name Century Hotel was more prominent than the new brand name Capsule Hotel. It is located beside the bank ANZ. The capsule was very creaky. Maybe some gentle music like nature or birds or waves outside the capsule would make the so...
i recently stayed with my four year old and family member. having never stayed in a hotel with a young child in tow i was worried about how easy it would be for my son to settle in. we arrived much earlier than normal check in time and were surprised to be promptly given a room. (we had expected to store luggage and return later for check in.) on arrival the four year ...
I have a stay of 6 nights at the hotel with my family, highly satisfactory. The hotel room was spacious with three windows, one of them facing the Hyde Park and even the St Mary Cathedral. Inside the room, there is a small partition wall to separate the entry areas and the living room that allow the entry area becoming a small cloak room for the bags and shoes. I ap...

We stayed at Vulcan Hotel to spend New Year in Sydney. It's one of the hotel that had the lowest price considering its location (and the fact it's New Year period!). The hotel used old building but has modern interior and rooms with complete utilities inside. The room we had very spacious with nice bed, good for us travelling with young children. The staff are friendly...
Luxury hotels in New South Wales
Amora is a 5 star hotel with a 2 star gym - the gym equipment is old, missing pins and the treadmills need servicing. The one multifunction gym needs upgrading - with gym goers having to wait to share pins and weight stacks. Disappointing. the pool and steam room are great. The room is not well designed with the TV set to the left of the bed - so you get a sore nec...
The hotel was nice but the room was a bit small for the category and for what we paid for. We booked the king club room and we didnt know that it wasn't facing the harbour. We stayed here during new years eve in the expectation to see the fireworks from the room on Darling Harbour. The hotel is very accessible as it is near the prime shopping area and some major attrac...
stayed here on business and found the location was very central. useful for getting around the cbd. it's next to town hall station which is a stop or two away from central station and apart from being on the main drag george st, it is opposite the qvb and a short walk to the best shopping complex in town, the new westfield sydney. the hotel interior features dark w...
Loved the creative and modern contemporary interior design and the painting-like exterior views of the famous Finger Wharf! My booking did not include brekkie but was given courtesy top up without any extra charges! And free minibar, really, this place is definitely setting the standard bar pretty high for other hotels in Sydney! Can’t love it enough! Best staying expe...
My second time here and the sixth hotel I’d stayed in over the past two weeks and by far the best- location is excellent just behind the Coca Cola sign in Sydney which any taxi or uber can find, easy Check-in, rooms are modern, clean and spacious with comfortable bedding/ selection of pillows. Mainly though it’s the many small touches that make this place stand out- a...
I found communication at time of booking a bit difficult resulting in a beds configuration that was not what I had wanted, but they very promptly reversed an upcharge they had made. The only major negative was a rather officious officer who made our entry into the hotel very traumatic on new years morning. He initially refused permission saying nobody was allowed ba...
Facial peel - technician seemed unsure and careless though sincere and pleasant. Having had many facials in spas worldwide, I felt like she was New or in training? product applied sloppily:- first acid-product into my nostrils; then tried to cover eye-lids, mouth AND nostrils completely with 2nd mask.Info re products and procedures was not as professional or informativ...
We feel extremely lucky to have stayed at this resort. The customer service was fantastic. A big thanks to Nick the concierge. He was very knowledgeable about activities to do around Sydney and gave us a printout of instructions that made navigating through Sydney’s public transit system a breeze while also ensuring we never went through the same place twice. Furthermo...
Langham was very beautiful.. GORGEOUS!! I love the color of the interiors!! My son loved the hotel soooo much he said he wanted our house to look like our room! :) Location was not as convenient as we thought it would be (walk wise to the Harbour) with a kid and seniors in tow. However, getting UBER and cabs are pretty easy though when you plan not to walk. It's center...
sydney harbour marriott hotel review: when i reached at the hotel for check-in, they said that they did not have a reservation for me. i thought not again (i cannot believe that this is happening again). so i said to them that i made a booking via agoda, and they quickly sorted it out. what happened is that the hotel marriott made a spelling error in my surname and th...
Such a relaxing stay here, always clean & well maintained. I generally hate the idea of a 'Buffet' anything but the buffet breakfast here is second to none, with an abundance of variety to suit all tastes from hot breakfasts (think gourmet chorizo sausages, perfectly poached eggs & tasty bacon!) as well as healthy fresh fruits & yoghurts, 10 or so different types of br...
This much anticipated weekend away was a thoroughly enjoyable experience from the moment we arrived at this little slice of heaven on the northern coast of New South Wales. Everything was perfect during our stay. We found the room proportions to be very generous, the staff friendly and efficient at all times, and the spa total bliss. We can't wait for our next visit...
We wanted a hotel for New Years Eve that we could walk to if cabs were impossible to find. This is located on Hyde Park, very central and convenient, and the (more expensive) rooms over looking the Park have lovely views. Rooms are generous and very well appointed, and the service is excellent. Food is high quality, not cheap, but reasonable value. The location has go...
Amazing! - Arrived earlier than check in time but staff managed to find available room for me. Great! - Received complimentary movie on demand which was nice even tho I didn't use it much - They provided novelties items on the counter, such as trivia quiz and even bowtie haha. They're quite cheap if you want to give it a go and have fun with it. - bathroom was huge wit...
The location of the hostel is fantastic - it is near Central Station, which is the centre of Sydney's rail network. Met people from all around the world and even made a new friend here. Interestingly, there were several older people staying there too. The facilities were pretty good. Comfortable enough bed. There was an indoor swimming pool near the top. The first flo...
This was a real gem. The moment I walked in, the staff let me know that I was important and that they wanted my stay in Sydney to be enjoyable. The concierge took the time to quickly show me a map of local interests. Bathroom - clean and spacious, bedroom - clean and spacious, power points - many. It really annoys me when I have to hunt for a power point for the lapto...
Great Hotel for a special occasion, but don't get sucked in by a the all inclusive tag, my bill came to $500 extra at the end of the weekend, my fault for not reading the small print I suppose
For sure I will come back again to this hotel every time I have a business trip in Sydney. I'm very lucky to have a chance to stay at this hotel for the very first time, spending 3 nights and loving it with the harbor bridge view from my bedroom and from the living room area. This hotel is the best hotel I ever stayed so far in Sydney (I travel 3x a month for business ...
This new Accor hotel is excellent considering it's only a month old. It's cabins are luxury appointed with beautiful finishes and the pool area is stunning. Looking forward to experiencing it in a while when more garden has established etc... Recommended!
We have stayed at nearly all the airport hotels in Sydney and this has to be the best. I had only an overnight stay with my young daughter and instantly wished I had booked more nights! The staff are very friendly, the food is amazing! and the beds super super comfy. The whole hotel is super modern with amazing attention to detail and decor. Although the Pullman feels ...
This hostel (if you can even call it that, it's more like a hotel that happens to have dorm rooms), is a real value. Probably the best value for money in Sydney. My friends and I stayed in a 4-bedroom dorm with ensuite bathroom. We couldn't have asked for more. The room was clean, though they only clean it when a new person arrives, the beds were extremely comfortable ...
The Sebel Peir one is in an amazing location, located over the water right next to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, a very short walk from the Rocks (Sydney's best Nightlife) and only 2 mins to views over Sydney harbour and the Opera House. As a keen photographer, this was absolutely perfect allowing me to be up and in position to take some great images at dawn, with out hav...
