Seo-myeon hotels & places to stay

Hotel was initially hard for the taxi driver to find as it is tucked away in a smaller street, however hotel is quite large. Front Desk is strangely located on the highest floor, which is the 13th floor. Location of the hotel is in the midst of Seo-Myeon which is the old downtown of Busan. Lots of clubs & shops around & appears to be more of a youth scene. A few street food stalls nearby, mainly selling fishcakes & spicy rice cakes. Seo-Myeon station is nearby which is a convenient train line to get around to other cities of Busan. Staff are friendly & extremely helpful. Special thanks to Belina who assisted us with our queries & took the extra step to help us with our transportation booking. Only downside of the hotel is the cleanliness of the room. Beds & towels appeared a little dirty. Rooms are non-smoking so there is no stench of smoke like some other hotels who claim to be non-smoking. Overall, not a bad place to stay.

I booked for Lotte Hotel Busan through Agoda at very good rates and never regretted my decision. We stayed there for just one night wishing we had stayed longer. The staff were very helpful when we arrived. Because we booked the hotel just the night before our stay, we were unable to print out the confirmation slip. But, the hotel staff were very nice to escort us to the communications room to access my email for it. Lotte hotel is also very strategically located. If you're taking the subway, the hotel itself is connected to the underground subway system. That helped us a lot when it rained in Busan, because we could get to the hotel without getting single drop of water on us!:) Lotte hotel is also connected to the Lotte Departmental Store and Underground shopping stores where we did most of our shopping. I believe the best feature for the hotel is ultimately their strategic location which is hassle-free, easy to access and right in the heart of Busan!

This hotel has to be the best hotel I've stayed in South Korea. The rooms are clean and nice, feels up-market considering the per-night rates they are currently offered at. Its located near to a metro station and theres a bustling street just behind the hotel. Staffs are very friendly and is much more pro-active in assisting as compared to the rest of the hotels i've stayed in South Korea. Thumbs up to the front desk staffs of the morning shift on 11th Dec 2017, they helped to rebook our train tickets from Busan to Seoul as we were running late on our pre-booked KTX train tickets.

I booked a deluxe double for 4 nights. Had some minor issues with the hotel. On the contrary they do allow us to check-in early just that we were made to wait 45 minutes before we can get the room. When we entered the room, there is an additional bed, so we went down and informed the staff and told them that we did not request for the additional bed. They reluctantly removed the additional bed from the room after we tried our best to explain to them the situation. Communications was really a big issue there. Other than that, we do not have other big problems. The remote control was universal and again it was hard to operate as a whole because everything was in korean. TV Channels were limited and there were some channels which require money and we were unsure whether we are entitled to those. There is no way for us to indicate if we want our room to be tidied up every morning but luckily, they will still clean the room and replenish the towels daily. There is only one access key for both persons and it could be troublesome. These are just some of the real situations you may find if you choose to stay with them. Pros: Spacious room - big enough to house two big luggage. Centrally located at Seomyeon - we used exit 9 as there were elevators. Convenient - there are convenience stores nearby and 5 minutes walk to exit 9 (traffic light is a long wait though). Wifi is ok - signal strength is alright. Overall, you will need a little while to get use to the hotel. But we are generally happy with the hotel despite some minor issues.Will consider it again if we do return to Busan.

The best place that we stay during our 9 day vacation in Seoul and Busan. For our surprise the staff kindly up grate our room to quad from triple and let us check n earlier. Room is big, modern and clean and is located at the back street. Taxi from Busan Station to hotel cost us KRW7000 and that consider reasonable since we also had big luggage. There is a street hawker foods and many traditional good korean restaurants around the hotel. I rate this hotel 4 stars rather 3 stars.

Me and my partner booked in here for 3 nights after reading the reviews and couldn't have been more happy in fact we stayed for 6 nights in the end. The owner and his wife couldn't do any more for you if they tried, so helpful and welcoming. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and this hotel is up there with some of the best hotels I've stayed in. There is a nice little coffee shop that also does smoothies and alcohol that staying guests get a 25% discount. Overall this hotel was perfect for us we don't have a single complaint and if were back in Busan we will 100% be saying here again.

Great value! Room is a great size for two (we got the double), everything worked well... and unlike other hotels in the area, Toyoko has universal plug friendly inserts, where you just need a USB cord to charge and not the wall plug (which travelers may require a converter for). Staffs were extremely friendly, checking in and out were very smooth... and not to mention, they have a slight change in menu for breakfast everyday and it was all very delicious! Definitely recommend this stay!

Angel Hotel, although it is an old hotel, it has one of the best location where food, music, and shopping are all concentrated at. The room was spacious and neat. Only one thing that we weren't very happy about is the slipperiness of the bathroom floor. Also the drain was the furthest away from the shower area and there is no separate drain for the shower area (which means the water would have to flow from the shower area, pass the toilet, then to the drain which was under the sink), making the whole toilet wet as a result. The hotel staff was very helpful, witnessed them trying to help a Spanish guest to fimd his route to his destination. Despite the lagnuage difference, they showed their professionalism. A hotel worth staying again (though I hope they solve the bathroom issue).

I decided to go to Busan on a whim and needed a place to sleep once I got in around 4 AM to the Bujeon train station (not Busan Station where you can take the KTX). I looked within walking distance of the station and saw that Home Hotel had good reviews, seemed clean, and was within my budget so I booked it for that night and the next. I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious the suite was (apparently that's what I booked when I booked a room with one bed). There was even a private balcony in the 10th floor room and though I didn't use it, I was glad for the sign prohibiting smoking there, as it would have made the room smell. There was also a jacuzzi, which was nice but there are no curtains by the window/balcony it looks out on. It's on or near the top floor though so I doubt anyone can see you unless they are intentionally peeping with binoculars. I had to call to ask to skip cleaning for my room the next morning as they don't use those hanging "Do not disturb" sign for the door. I can't vouch for the English proficiency of the staff as we communicated in Korean. Also, the remote control for the TV+AC wasn't in English so this might be a better place to stay if you know a bit of Korean. I would skip breakfast at the hotel as other reviewers have also recommended. Not worth making your way downstairs for unless you want toast and corn flakes. The location was a 15-20 minute walk from Bujeon Station and closer still to Seomyeon station, where you can take one of two lines on the Metro. It would be better if the entrance weren't in an alley but this isn't an issue if you're not arriving very late at night/early morning and Korean cities don't feel particularly dangerous anyway. Though I listed the flaws I found above, all in all, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it. It was clean and a really good deal for what I paid. The front desk was also friendly!

This is a good hotel to stay. It is near Seo-myeon metro station that is an interchange for 2 metro lines (Line1 and 2). If you are taking taxi to the hotel and the driver doesn't know where Busan Business Hotel is, just let him know that it is opposite Lotte Hotel. It will also be useful to have the name and address of the hotel in korean on hand to show the taxi driver. The drivers can key in the area code into their gps. Seo-myeon underground shopping arcade that links to the metro stations is also around 5mins walk away. It can be conveniently accessed from Lotte mall basement level. Convenient stores are also within a minute walk away from the hotel. The room is reasonably spacious (in terms of korewan and japan hotel size), very clean and comfortable.

overall this is a decent place in a good location but it Would not be my first choice in the future. PROS-very clean. friendly staff. convenient location. room is comfortable. CONS-breakfast is decent but not as nice as the photos. time is 0900 which is later than most places. eggs were not always available. laundry-the charge was 5000 won which is ridiculous. most places offered use of the washer for free. i booked the place because it offered laundry but at that price it was not a valid option. also it is a bit noisy on weekends but tolerable. Overall a decent place but not the best option if staying for more than two nights.

S Hotel is located about a 2 minute walk from Exit 13 of Seomyun Station. Seomyeon Station is a transfer station between the 2 main lines in Busan. From Seomyun you can get to places like Jagalchi, Nampodong, Haeundae, etc without having to transfer. Seomyun is also a great area for shopping and eating, so this hotel is literally located in the best area, however it is also a little tucked away in an off street so it isn't loud or noisy at night. The hotel is actually a motel but there are also a lot of solo travelers and families that stay here. There aren't really any facilities like a pool or gym or anything but if you're in Seomyun you should be out and about anyway. The staff was really nice, I had a big box of kimchee that wouldn't fit in the fridge in the room so they helped me store it in a bigger fridge that they had and let me get it upon check out. This hotel is also located right next to some eateries that are 24/7 and some great restaurants. Lots of convince stores around and very close to the subway station! 5 Stars all around ^^

The guesthouse is near to the train and bus stations, about 1 minute walk. It also provides towel and basic toiletries such as shampoo and body wash. We had the freedom to prepare and have our meals in the pantry which was definitely a great thing for us. Just made sure we cleaned after we used the area. We could use the utensils and basic kitchen appliances for free except for the washing machine and dryer. We had the whole room to ourselves which was good for 6 though we were only 5. The guesthouse practices honesty is the best policy. It also has an elevator which was convenient for the elderly and those with heavy luggage. Overall, it was a good experience staying in this guesthouse. I'd recommend it!

All u need to do is book the hotel and relax! No need to worry about ur arrival. The hotel owner, Mr. Son will contact u with a super complete information how to reach the hotel in many different ways (including the pictures so u won’t get lost). Location is very close to the aiport limousine bus stop (best way if u r coming with big n heavy luggages) and seomyeon sta exit 7 (they have elevator). Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom, Amenities, water pressure and temperature was perfect. They even provided a bath suit which I didnt find at any affordable hotel in Korea. The super kind Mr Son also provided us with a map and advised some best recommended restaurand, tourist attraction, and how to get a taxi/bus. This helped us a lot!!. (He speaks english very well) Last but not least: They had a mini yet delicious buffet for breakfast which we loved most during this stay. Will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to any busan visitors!

Me and my husband are on a honeymoon trip to Busan and we stayed at 2 Heaven Hotel for 4D3N stay. We booked a Deluxe room and we are already impressed by the designer room, a PC and the jacuzzi bathtub. It's luxury for the price we paid. On our last day, we got upgraded to the Premium room where we had a beautiful veranda (with a swing and jacuzzi bathtub). The Premium room has 2 jacuzzi bathtub (one at the veranda and one indoor toilet), 2 PCs and bigger space. The room is clean and absolutely romantic for me and my husband. We staff are polite and even though we had a slight language barrier, they are patient and well mannered.

The hotel is not too far off from the subway exit. The instructions given by the owner is very clear. The hotel room is quiet and very clean. Very modern and simple in style. Have most basic amenities. Room is not as cramp as sone other hotel too. He is also super friendly and helpful. Even bring us to the nearby restaurant that he will eat at and help us order our food. He also try to find out from us our plan and give recommendation so that we won't waste time to location that are too commercialize with tourists. He even went the extra miles by helping us buy the train ticket from Busan to Seoul when he found out that we have not booked our ticket and we are traveling during the Christmas peak season. Will definitely booked his hotel again when I head to Busan again. And will strongly recommend any guest to stay in this hotel.

I did a 4 day trip to Busan and Seoul and I must admit that staying at this hotel definitely made my experience in Busan significantly better. Its in the city center and there are a number of things within the vicinity. Despite it being a few stops away from popular attractions, this location has all the train lines going through it its essentially a direct train line to whereever you like to go. I only docked a few stars off the facilities because my A/C unit was extremely weak and would not blow cold air so I was pretty warm at times during my stay. Highly would recommend and would definitely come back.

The hostel owner is a young couple, this is a super recommned hostel in Busan, comfortable, stylish, and clean. The location is close to Seomyeon subway station, just few minutes walk from the station to hostel, there are some shops between hostel and subway station for money exchange, I also got nice rate there (actually the best rate when I was in Korea), lots of food around the hostel, you just need to go down stairs. They provide free hand made breakfast for guests, meals are so exquisite, you must have to try! The hostel owner are so kind, they offer lots of information and suggestions to me, they care a lot about guests, and willing to linsten every customer. If you are looking for a "HOTEL", maybe this is not the best choice, if you are try to find a awsome "HOSTEL", and you will get a super value experience!

This is my second time in Mini hotel. Actually I was a bit disappointed as last time I got a more bigger room on 2nd floor but this time got a smaller room on 3rd floor and TV is not on the direction when I can lay on and see it comfortably like before. Instead I need to sit all night to watch TV. Thats only one disadvantage. Beside I was satisfied for the room cleanliness, and everyday changed-towel. Also, location is the best ever.

Best budget hotel ever. The building is cozy and modern. At the lobby, a coffee machine is available to enjoy it for free. The ambience of the hotel and room is very cozy, dim lights, spacious and clean. Bathroom and toilet are seperated, wash basin at outside of toilet, desktop are provided in the room. They even provide Missha toner and emulsion in the room with 3 different types of comb for grooming. It feels like home. The receptionist is friendly but unable to speak well in English. cons. only one bath towel provided, you have to ask for extra. No makeup table, the mirror at the grooming area is for decoration only, not suitable for grooming.

The basin's pipe in the toilet and in the room have problem, water just leak out from the pipe. Other than that, the room and toilet is big (take note that the toilet door is clear glass with some frosted effect but still see through), free snacks, drinks, toothbrush, lotions and many more. Where the hotel location is great! Many restaurants and convenient stores are around, and close to all shops and MRT. - The lady staff has very limited english, but she was indeed very helpful. We're trying to ask her to book a cab for us, but in vain due to the peak hours as it was raining. She then quickly come out from her service desk and inform us with all her handy expression.

1. Location is great. Less than 3mins walk from the subway station. Also, about 15mins walk from Seomyeon. There are plenty of cafes and stores around. 2. Facilities are new and clean. Especially, I liked the bathroom. Amenities are all equipped, and the hotel provides Styler for free to clean clothes at the lobby. In my opinion, it was the best choice considering the price. I am willing to make another reservation again, should I visit Busan some other day.

Before i check in this hotel, I thought is like a typical Korean style hotel as the building is a bit old by looking from outside. As soon as i check in to my room, I was surprised my room is like a continental 4 star hotel. The deco, fittings and everything is like a continental kind of hotel. Even the bed i feel is luxurious. I lazy to get out from my bed as I really like the mattress as well. I managed to get a very good price at agoda around USD75. The staff was friendly and smilling too. I have many enquiries to them about the Busan sightseeing as it was my first time travelling in Busan. The staff was attentive and helpful by providing advise to me. And to my surprise their English is the most fluent that I heard throughout all the hotel staff in Korea. I encounter a male receiptionist where i call him through the phone and he could not understand my enquiries, he hurriedly come to my room and talk to me. It was very touching to me about this hospitality experiences that I never had before. The hotel also have Sauna and Fitness club as well but with a half price which can get a coupon from the receptionist. Location wise is near to Beomil metro station within walking distance of 5 minutes. Surrounding is more like a local housing area with some flea markets. Everything was very good except the breakfast which is expensive and limited choice menu. If they have a buffet breakfast with a mix of korean food and western food that would be a plus. If you like a location in local neighbourhood and love to enjoy spa and fitness and want to stay in a luxurious room and nearby to metro station then this hotel will be a very wise choice.
